This has to be the absolute best place to go in Lexington for general or foreign car repairs. Was definitely a hidden gem when I needed repairs done for my child s mini cooper. I ve always been blown away by their professionalism and customer service. The mechanics are highly skilled, meticulous, and proficient. The service estimates they send via email with pictures and thorough descriptions of their findings has to be my most favorite feature they offer. Highly recommended

Finally found a place I can fully trust with my vehicles. I get the full rundown on my car and repairs/services are done in record time. Love being able to drop off after hours. I recommend Auto Excel to anyone looking for great service and great team.

Auto Excel is unlike any auto repair shop I ve ever used. You can expect honesty, transparency and excellent workmanship from the time you walk in the door. They have an attractive rewards program that rewards loyalty. I will definitely be using them again.

Inspection was pretty thorough but we are definitely not going to put $5k in a car maybe worth $8k. Was good to learn about some things that may need attention but spread the work out across a couple other mechanics. Showed them the inspection from auto excel and they let us know what was actually very urgent and what could wait. Got the work done for a fraction of the price by going to a couple of other different places.

Just really excellent service. Cole has been spot on, insuring that I am informed on all that is going on with my vehicle and the service is done without long waits. I appreciate Auto Excel and pray continued blessings on all they do

Very good customer service , I scheduled an appointment from the website they were able to manage they re scheduled to get me an early services appointment for my car and also Cole B provided very professional customer service , they know their job for sure !

This group does a fantastic job. They incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They consistently get me back on the road in 24hrs or less. More than that, they are just honest folks that care about the people they are serving.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.They are slimy, without integrity, pathetic excuses of mechanics.Told me they replaced parts that were clearly not replaced when they said it was finished. I didn t drive it but 15 minutes after $1800 in work and it catches on fire!!! This place is evil stay away all these reviews are fake they ask for a review at check in for a discount on service.

This shop came highly recommended by a relative of mine who is knowledgeable about the market in the Lexington area. I couldn t be happier with my experience with Auto Excel. I have found my new garage!!Just moved to Lexington and had a minor breakdown, (alternator). I called a couple of shops but couldn't get through to anyone. A local friend suggested that I try Auto Excel.Cole answered the phone and suggested that I bring it in. Everything was diagnosed with a great detailed report of the entire car. This report was emailed to me so I could review all the details without any pressure and then Cole was available to go line by line with me to make sure we were all super clear what I wanted done.Everything about my experience with Auto Excel was pretty exceptional. I'm confident in the quality of the work and the honesty of the business. The pricing IMO is fair and reasonable and the customer service was outstanding.Hats off to Cole and the crew at Auto Excel.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Battery

Cole Barrett has no integrity. He allows his mechanics to do the minimal to get a car running out the shop just to catch fire on the highway heading home! What an evil man I don t know how he lives with himself.DO NOT GO HERE

Brought my old Mini Cooper here and I'm now bringing my current Mini. Always provide thorough examination and detailed estimate for any recommended services. Transportation provided when I have needed to drop off the car for work. Everyone is always extremely nice and very helpful. They take their time explaining what needs to be done and why, even when I keep asking questions. They keep my Mini and me very happy!

These guys are great. Very friendly, professional and they know their stuff. Brought my 2016 BMW in for service. They did a very thorough (58 point) inspection, which was documented by a print out with photos. Didn't try to upsell me. I am very picky about who I allow to service our vehicles. With that said, Auto Excel did a fantastic job servicing my 10+ year old truck. All the people there seemed to genuinely care about the quality of service and work they perform, and genuinely cared not only about the vehicle but also the person. They exceeded my expectations and were very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. We intend on taking all our vehicles there in the future, including our Honda, BMW, GM truck and any other vehicle we may acquire. I can't say enough about my experiences at Auto Excel. Phillip, Dallas, and Kevin go above and beyond in providing excellent and honest customer service. They did a great job explaining the problems I was having with my BMW and the repairs were made in a timely manner. Phillip did all the communicating with my warranty people and he even took care of getting a rental car for me! They also have an awesome rewards program. They are now my guys for all of my BMW services and I highly recommend them.

Phillip at Auto Excel went above and beyond to help us when our car got stuck at the Red River Gorge (an hour away in the middle of nowhere). Before he knew he had our business he spent hours (literally) talking with us about the car and the potential options we had. I don't know what we would of done without him. Once we decided to go with Auto Excel, we were extremely impressed with the entire process. They not only gave me a detailed report (with photos) of what was wrong with my car but they walked me through the entire list (which was long) and made sure I understood every aspect. They worked with me to get the best price and did excellent work. Auto Excel has a knowledgable and dedicated team and they are by FAR the best mechanics/staff I have ever encountered.I honestly couldn't say enough good things about Phillip and Auto Excel. This experience restored my faith in people who genuinely care about you as a person and want the best for you (not just your money.) I live 5 hours away from Lexington but if I didn't I would give Auto Excel 100% of my business. I've thought about driving my car back, just because they are so awesome.Thanks for saving us Phillip. You are truly one-of-a-kind.

My experiences with AutoExcel have always been top notch. They are very professional, caring, and trustworthy. Also, they stand behind their work 100%. Their 3-year warranty is no gimmick and they never cause a hassle with it. My service advisor Phillip and mechanic Kevin are the fabulous to work with and fabulous people! I always get clear explanations about what s needed, including allowing me to see firsthand underneath my car what is going on. I hope anyone with car issues or even routine service will consider giving them a chance.

I wish I could add more stars to this rating. Their professionalism and quality of work is over the top. I was having issues with the steering on my Mercedes GL450. I dropped my car off and the next day (New Years Eve) I received a detailed report on my vehicle as well as the recommendation on what was needed to repair my car. We had to replace the power steering pump on my vehicle. Auto Excel does quality work with extremely fair prices. I would highly recommend taking your Mercedes to them for services and repairs. You won't regret it!

Auto Excel came highly recommended. As a woman I am always skeptical when dealing with an auto shop on my own. Phil and his team were not only extremely professional, but they were thorough, honest, timely and clearly communicated legit issues with my vehicle. They care! I left feeling assured and comfortable with their analysis and service! I highly recommend them, check them out!

Have always had positive experiences at Auto Excel. They are both very professional and knowledgeable. From the time you walk through the front door to the time that you leave with your vehicle, the service is impeccable. They are very thorough and informative. After the last visit there, my soon to be 10yr old BMW is running like it did when I bought it! Which is largely due to their advice and commitment to the service that they provide. I would trust them with any vehicle that I may own but especially my BMW. Have had very bad experiences at another "reputable" place in town. A special thank you to Phillip, Kevin and Dallas for their professionalism.

If I wasn't from out of town I would make Auto Excel my "go to" auto repair shop. Phillip went above and beyond to get my Land Rover fixed in a timely manner and he scheduled Lyft rides for me while my car was being repaired. They sent me a link that had the write up for my entire car's inspection even though I only brought it in for one problem. They also provided me with multiple pictures to show my car's status throughout the whole process. I received excellent customer service and I'd recommend them to anyone. Also, they have a fantastic warranty and rewards program that came free with my repair which is rare for the mechanics in my area.

I am a new customer to Auto Excel and was very impressed with the customer service and integrity of the guys who work there. I had several maintenance items overdue on my car so I knew I needed to put some money into the car for the long haul. These guys did a complete inspection and helped me prioritize what was needed and what was not. They got the work done quickly and went above and beyond to help save me some money. They do quality work with quality parts and a good warranty. I'll be going back when needed.

USAA recommends Auto Excel and I'm so glad they do!! From the moment I called the shop, Phillip Preston was very attentive to detail with taking care of my Volkswagen. He worked me in that day and arranged for a rental car. My car needed several repairs and Meng and Lead Technician, Kevin were very expedient and thorough in taking care of all of them. I was emailed a detailed diagnostic assessment that evening including photos and once services were agreed upon, I was kept up to speed throughout the entire process. My car drives and runs better than it has in years! I'm very satisfied and will definitely do business with them again! The guys at Auto Excel are professionals who care about their work and the customers they serve. Don't hesitate to call Phillip if your car needs any type of repair. They stand behind their work and include a warranty that is twice as long as the one Don Jacobs offers!
