We were so pleased our mechanic recommended Ashley for our nearly historic Taurus. They got us in a timely manner. Though our mechanic thought we needed tire rods they assessed and repaired the vehicle with integrity finding it only needed ball bearings.They kept us informed on the work and cost.We could not retrieve our car until the morning after it was ready which they allowed.Fair price for excellent service!

Beware if you do business here. Make sure you get a written quote or estimate. I was quoted in person $300 + taxes to replace 4 TPMS sensors on my vehicle which was seen and diagnosed . When I picked up the vehicle I was charged $516.39 without being asked in advance to approve the increase. I was told my vehicle needed different sensors. They diagnosed the car and should have know this from the start. The charged amount is too big of a difference not to get my approval first. I no longer trust them.

Genuinely great experience, great workers. Checked my car, ordered my parts received and installed, all in less than 24 hours after a Kentowery messed my car up bad. Impeccable service, took time to replace my key-fob battery for me and explained all steps. Highly recommend!

Accurate honest diagnosis. Quality work at a fair price. Ill be back for all wheel, brake and suspension work. Been to three places before, finally found a good shop.

Stan and Ian are just the best. Cannot say enough good about Ashley's Wheel and Brake Service. Feels like family when you walk in. There are many reasons that they won best in Lexington 2023!!

Mason at Alloy Wheel Repair does fantastic work at fixing curbed and bent wheels. Very reasonably priced and a super nice guy. He color matched my matte bronze wheels perfectly and they look like brand new. Would give 6 stars if I could.

This place is amazing. I just moved to Kentucky from New York and needed some honest help with an alignment and continual noise in the front end of my car. I chose Ashley's Wheel and Brake service simply because they could get me in the next morning. I am so glad I did. They found the noise issue in 5 minutes and fixed it with no charge. The price for the alignment was half of what I expected to pay and my car is now driving as quiet as when I purchased it. The entire staff was so nice and welcoming, they made me feel at ease from the minute I walked in the door to the time I left. Ashley's is now my go to mechanic. I highly recommend them if you want an honest reasonable priced mechanic. Thanks so much guys, you are AWESOME!!!

They charged me an insane amount, and my brakes are now worse than before. My car was older, and I did notice mostly nice expensive cars, so maybe don t go here if you don t have a Tesla

My first time taking my car to get the oil changed. I am a college student and they drove me back without waiting at all. Super nice and I loved meeting 'alley' cat. I will definitely be going back!

Genuine, honest, hard working business! Been around for decades and dedicated to keeping customers safe. Provides service for brakes, front-end work, suspension, and tire repair. Opened in 1964 by Mr. Wilgus Ashley, in 1977 ownership transferred to Mr. Garry Eldridge, and his son's, while Mr. Ashley continued working and mentoring part-time. In 1999 Mr. Eldridge retired transferring ownership to his son's Stan and Dan.

Excellent place! Stan and his team are not only friendly but honest and competent as well. They took care of me (and my car) very quickly and professionally. I was even offered a ride to work and back while my car was in the shop. I can only recommend this place! I wish there would be more places like this. Keep it up!

Great shop. They mounted and balanced tires as well as performed a 4 wheel alignment to my Maserati. I recommend them without reservation. They even pick up and dropped off my vehicle.

Buying tires and rims from them was probably the best decision I've made for my car thus far. Not only are they honest and straight-forward with you, but will work with you helping you to make the best purchase possible for the right price. No smug behavior no bullshit. Don't make the mistake of going anywhere else for your automotive solutions.

I get all of my tires and whatever mechanical work possible at Ashley's. I have two classic cars - a 1963 Impala SS and a 1970 Mustang Convertible - and I am very particular about who works on them. Ashley's has been great with all of their work thus far. As I said, tire work and alignments on both vehicles as well as power assist brakes, posi-rear end conversion, and front-end suspension work on the Mustang. They are honest, reliable, and meticulous as well as very competitively priced. Stan, Dan, Ian, Randy and Michael will not let you down. Check them out!~ Gino

I was really impressed with my experience at Ashley s. I had a low tire pressure light that wasn t resolved when I tried reinflating my tires at a gas station. Thinking I might need a new tire, I asked friends to recommend a locally owned tire shop, and was pointed to Ashley s. I called and was told to just drop in. They got me in immediately when I came by, and had me in and out in just 5 minutes. They inspected my tires and reinflated them. Said it s probably just pressure changes related to weather because there s nothing visibly wrong and the tires have some life left in them. They didn t charge me a dime, just told me to come back if I have problems again. Especially as a woman, and someone who doesn t know a lot about cars, I know they could have tried to sell me new tires or charged me, but they didn t. I m impressed, and I will be returning to them for all of my tire needs in the future.

I found this shop on Google and decided to give them a try after Ken Lowery could not eliminate an out of balance tire condition with some new wheels that Lowery had actually installed and tried to remedy two additional times.I have an Audi A7 and was curious as to what types of vehicles this shop handled, and had doubts as to whether my tire problem was 'not fixable' to quote Ken Lowery. In summary, I am so grateful that I decided to give them a try.Not to bad mouth the integrity of any other auto shop, but I actually walked away from this appointment with not only a car that was corrected (at a fair price), but also with the feeling that these guys really care about their customers and the customer vehicles.I was so impressed that I am set to go back next week to get some additional cosmetic work done on my car by these guys. Thanks to Ian and the whole team over at Ashleys!!

I officially now go here for wheel alignments. Hands down best guys in town and are a legit shop. If you want a spot that feels like home and you want peace knowing it's done right then go here if you aren't a mechanic. I put on brand new wheel hub assemblys, new rotors, new brakes, and two new tie rods on a 09 Chevy Malibu myself so I Called THIS Morning to set up a wheel alignment,Shoutout to Ian for getting me in this morning i was in there by 9 am and out the door by 9:45 with a top quality wheel alignment by a mechanic that has been specializing in this specific field for over 40 years. Car drives straight as a arrow and the wheel is centered on point. You will be happy. Thank you all.

We picked up a UHaul rental at Ashley's and the quality of the customer service was outstanding! Later, when we called with a question, the staff were very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely come back to this store for UHaul rentals (and would go to them for other tire/car needs as well after such a great experience).

Arrived to pick up the Uhaul at 8:00 and did not get out until 9:15. We reserved an appliance dolly and Dan Eldridge who checked us out gave the last one away to people in front of us who originally did not want it. Then he told us he reserved one at another location for us to pick up and that it was already paid for that we could leave it in the Uhaul and it would be taken care of by him. When we went to the other location they indicated nothing had been reserved, paid for, or called about and that because they were a separate business we should not leave the dolly in the Uhaul. We were blatently lied to by Dan at this location. Do not go to this location as you will be lied to and the items you reserve will be given away and not covered by their guarantee.

Uhaul experience here was much better than New Circle Rd Uhaul. Nice, engaging and highly competent staff. Spotless, well organized shop.I'll be bringing them my vehicle for service and referring business to them.

Easily the best place to get tires or to get work done on your vehicle. Absolutely trustworthy.
