Spencer was recommended to me after a shop here in Louisville failed to find the problem. I basically knew it was a bad injector already. Spencer found the bad injector and now my Duramax LLY runs like it should. Spencer gave me an alternate estimate to also upgrade some of the mods that I already had on the truck. I allowed him to go ahead and do them too. It was worth the drive from Louisville to have Spencer and his guys do the job instead of some shop that could care less about your truck, just to get the money. I have a 2018 Duramax also and hope if anything goes wrong with it under warranty, Spencer could do the work instead of me having to take it to a GM dealer that usually has no idea what they are doing.

Cody & Spencer are awesome! I had issues with my DEF/emissions system on my '15 Duramax on my way to Murray, KY from MI. The guys were cool to work with, and extremely helpful. They were able to get my truck tuned & deleted faster than I expected. So very happy with the work they did! Thank you again!

The work at this shop was top notch! The work was completed at the price quoted, the performance of the work has exceeded my expectations and most of all, the Customer Service for INCREDIBLE! It was great to work with a company that understands how to treat customers in a way that makes them glad they spent their money there. I will use this company for all my diesel engine work.

We have a Chevy C4500 Kodiak that we pull our 18K lb. RV with. We are full time so we do every preventative thing possible to care for both the truck and our home but things still have to be repaired on occasion. Our truck has been phenomenal in our constant traveling and being a 2004, we knew injectors would need to be done eventually. It started running a little rough while back home in KY visiting family so we reached out to the guys at Sims Diesel - best decision ever! We have always felt like things happen for a reason and even though, no one ever likes having a hefty repair bill, we feel enormously blessed to have found this diesel shop. Their professionalism, experience level/knowledge base and superior customer service are above and beyond. They took care of the big issue as well as some smaller stuff in a timely manner and with friendly upbeat attitudes... highly recommend Spencer and his team for anything diesel related!!

These guys know their stuff. 05 Excursion went down .. thought it was hydrolocked. Thought for sure I was going to pay to have took down to the injectors and was ready to stroke the check. They did a diagnostic and found a bad turner module was causing the issues. Unhooked it and minimum diagnostic fee and Im back up and running. Knowledgeable, honest, and all around good folks. He will shoot you straight. Nobody works on my diesels but Sims. Don t chance it, go with Sims !!!

Does excellent work. Went the extra mile on my truck to make sure it was right and kept us informed on everything they were doing. My truck hasn't ever ran as good as it does since we got it back.

Spencer and his crew are awesome !! Shop is the cleanest I've seen . Looks like something you see on TV. Done work on my 2004 F-350 dually . EGR delete, oil cooler, coolant filtration system, and mishimoto radiator . Prolly one of the best shops in Ky . They really know their stuff . They will always have my business.

This is the place to take your diesel truck. Mr. Simms advised me about the type of oil to run in my Duramax which fixed the problem without any fee. He could have just as easily done some repair and charged me. This is the mark of an honest man and worth of your business. That's why I gave him 5 stars!

SPENCER AND HIS HELP ARE TOP NOTCH, THEY WORKED ON MY TRUCK WITHIN ESTIMATE AND HAD IT DONE THE DAY IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE. THEY CAN BUILD AN 6.0 OR 6.4 FORD TO RUN THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSE TO RUN. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY TRUCK NOW, WITH THE BETTER FUEL MILEAGE AND MORE POWER TO THE WHEELS. I DO NOT THINK YOU CAN FIND ANYONE BETTER AT WORKING ON DIESEL EQUIPMENT IN THE KENTICKIANA AREA.
