Christmas day my 2008 Toyota Tundra with a lift kit and large tires. Had three of the five bolts on my passenger side front tire sheared off, I had to drive/limp my truck 2 miles to Steve s Automotive Repair where we had a conversation and Steve was extremely upfront and honest with me and lived up to every expectation that he presented in the original conversation. I fully expected to pay $500+ so when the bill came to $167.98 I was floored. Amazing service, extremely honest,great job managing my expectations, and all for a very reasonable price.

Super satisfied with the service I received this week. I dropped my car off unexpectedly late Tuesday night. With Thanksgiving on Thursday I didn t think they would get to it until next week. It s the day after Thanksgiving and my car is all fixed up and at a very fair price! I am a new forever customer!

Steve's is the most reasonable, and definitely the most honest automotive service in Northern ky. Wouldn't go anyplace else!

The worst experience of my life. Rented a budget rental truck 2 months in advance, showed up to get it and was told it s not here and it s not my problem the absolute worst customer service of my life. I will never use budget again, and I can understand it s not this contracted Budget rental locations fault but the person at the front desk was one of the rudest individuals I ve ever encountered in my entire life.

Steve s Automotive repair did an excellent job on the timing belt replacement on my vehicle. In the past they ve replaced my front cv axel. They are the best price around town with the best service.Definitely would recommend this shop to anyone.Don t go to Elite Automotive or Davon Auto!

Called to confirm thar them could and would do the repairs on my 1998 Mustang, they told me they could and would. We then went out to their shop to give them a list of what needed to be worked on. The person that we talked to was not there. Talked to Steve's father he said someone would contact us, they never did. We then called and once again talked to Steve's father told him we needed to confirm so we could have the car towed out there. The next day he called and was very nasty, told me they would not do the work. When I asked why not he got even nastier. Do loo for the to follow through on what they say!

We have gone to Steve's for years and are treated so well. We've had exhaust leaks repaired, a full a/c replacement and more done for us here. The prices are fair and the workers are honest. I appreciate this business as many mechanics can be known to overcharge their customers, not-so with Steve. I recommend everyone who needs their vehicle serviced to go to him.

Called them spoke to Steve at first, explained my situation. I need my car's tires mounted and brakes done over the weekend so I can get to work the next week. I'm 24 can't get a rental. Explain this several times to him and he ensured me it would get done. Later the secretary called me to discuss a date and again, I explained my situation. How I needed the vehicle done over the weekend because I cannot get a rental. Again, she ensured me it would get done and we scheduled a date a week in advance. Dropped my car off on Friday, in which they said the "Mercedes CTS?" First off, that's a Cadillac. I should've known at that point after I told Steve 4 times on the phone that my model was a C230, against my better judgement I left the car with them. So today I hadn't received a call but I figured since I expressed my concern, that it needed to be done today, that they'd at least have it done by the time they closed. After paying for a ride to get there, my car is sitting in the same spot I parked it when I left it. All 4 tires still in the back still with their packaging on them. They didn't even touch the car. If they didn't even get to the brakes and just mounted my new tires I would've been satisfied. I am beyond dissatisfied.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I wanted to try this business based on the reviews, but I couldn t get anyone to call me back. Left a message the first time, no response, then called and spoke to a man who said he would have his scheduler call me. Never did hear back. So I went to another place that got me right in.

Steve's is a place that I trust to do an honest repair without trying to take advantage of you with add on repairs. I trust them with all my cars. Lets face it auto repair bills are not fun. knowing there is an honest repair shop out there like Steve's gives you peace of mind knowing that you are in good honest hands. HIGHLY suggest Steve's!

Honest, skilled and reasonable. I had a simple problem that two other places couldn't figure out and tried to pin on something quite expensive. Steve figured it out and repaired it for just $20. We've continued taking our cars there ever since and have been very pleased.

My husband and I have been going to Steve's automotive repair shop for a very long time years and years 10 years. We are very satisfied with his abilities to take care of our car and truck to keep them running. I have told friends about him I have taken my granddaughter's car there to have it worked on. We will continue to go to Steve's automotive as long as we have a car in the truck and can drive.

My truck set in their lot for over six weeks and said that they were waiting on a computer to be repaired and it was going to cost hundreds of dollars. I finally had it towed out of there and took it to Automasters in Union. They had it two hours and said it was a bad connection in a wire that was corroded. They charged me $40 to fix it and the truck is running great!

I have gone to Steve since I moved to Independence 4 years ago and they have been nothing but professional and fair with me. He never tries to upsell unnecessarily and will only recommend work that needs to be done. Plus, they do a great job on my cars.

Steve had checked our my car for 2 days to see if it had a alternator issue and it didn't & he didn't charge me had transmission installed in another car. Very good & honest

Would not tell me anything on the phone, they said I had to make an appointment and leave the vehicle to get a quote. I just wanted a quote for replacing the alternator, no diagnostics.

Steve is as honest a mechanic as you'll find, he's great at explaining everything, and his prices are very competitive. He might be a bit of a drive if you aren't in Taylor Mill, but the drive is worth it.

If you're looking for an honest mechanic this is the place. I've always taken my vehicles to Steve when it's a problem I can't fix. He's even told me "Hey there's nothing wrong with it. Come pick it up." He easily could have made something up and charged me for it. That's when you know you got an honest guy.Nick Fischer

Went to pick up a budget truck from steve s and waited to get a truck only to get told they didn t have the truck i had reserved. It may of not been there fault but the customer service i received was awful. They had no care that this was a huge inconvenience. Couldn t imagine taking a vehicle here.

I always go to Steve's, He make sure the Repair's done right! I went trip to Somerset for a funeral, went over 300 miles with no problems, my 1994 F-150 ran find GREAT JOB!!!!

I ran over some kind of metal object on my way home that went up and under car. The car started making a load roaring sound so I thought it would for sure be a $1k-$2k fix.Steve's shop fixed it up in a few days - the car sounds and runs well. Didn't try to upsell me into something I didn't need.

Steves has been a neighborhood staple for long time . One thing you can do is trust these guys known them for 20yrs or more and has always been most trusted shops in tristate area
