Kevin worked on my car a few months ago and got it back running smooth! He s friendly and has a good character. Mr. Okum is very knowledgeable and took time to actually explain what was going on with my car. His customer service was great and is 100% an honest business owner standing by his work. I would 10/10 recommend him to anyone and will go back to him for any of my future needs. You will not be disappointed!

Kevin okum is a great mechanic and I most definitely do recommend him he did a brake bleed on my 1995 Dodge Dakota sport and did a fantastic job I will be sending more work his way very respectful and his customer service was fantastic he arrived on time and got the job done quickly and professionally thanks Kevin.

Kevin is a very genuine guy, he s the type of mechanic who isn t gonna just do what you ask and take the money and go about his day he s gonna make sure you know exactly what s wrong even if it s not what you think it is and he s gonna take his time to explain everything to you if you re willing to listen and take his time to get the job done and done right so you can get home safely. He has amazing customer service skills and is all around a good guy I will definitely be coming back if I have any future problems and 10/10 recommend him over majority of all the other mobile mechanics who are just after a quick buck or who bite off more than they can chew and leave you screwed! Can t thank him enough for the help he gave me

I paid Mr. Okum to do routine mait work to my 2019 chevy cruz and he stole parts off of it, swore they were never on there at all, my car worked prior to him getting his hands on it, fastforward a couple of weeks of him supposedly fixing it i had to take it to a shop and the water pump, alternator, and 5 sensors were mysteiously vanished.Yes sir you did work on my vehicle. You had your wife and handicap son the black dodge you were driving with a wheel chair on the back. It was on Orchird st in Hopkinsville. You can contact whoever I also have the papers you gave me for the work you stated you done. You have destroyed your own business with your work ethics or lack of. You were running under dads garage at the time btw. You only changed your name. You told me about your mom going to the chapel house and you guys staying with her or was that part of your sick twisted scam

I greatly appreciated Kevin's honesty and excellent customer service when I reached out about my transmission issues. I'm new to the area and was wary of "shade tree mechanics" but he is far from that; very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this shop

I grew up in Western Ky and return back after 40 years managing big box retail stores like Target and Best Buy at various executive levels . I also penned and operated 6 to 12 Bay Auto Mark service and parts stores in Cleveland. Moving back south with a disability and needing a God dependable Auto Mechanic I stumbled across Dad's Aut and Motorcycle Garage . I Have 8 cars and trucks and 4 of them are Classic Antiques ( 25 to 40 yrs old ) I found the owner Kevin to be very knowledgeable, honest and straight forward in his business . His prices are very reasonable and he can supply the quality parts with very good warranties or install your parts . Kevin Okum worked very quickly and thorough in a clean organized manner and test drove my vehicle when done to ensure his work was complete.With my business background , auto knowledge and ability to read people , I thought I could catch Kevin dropping the ball in the customer service area , service area or price quote are to allow me to rate him and his business a 4 star instead of 5 stars . I couldn't but I will be returning with my other 7 cars and trucks just to see if I can catch him being a 4 star instead of 5 star . And know that if you can't get your car to Dad's Garage. Very reasonable flexible , and affordable. Even helped me find a tow company that wasn t too expensive. Makes sure your safety is his top priority and gets the job done right ! Due to my car being inoperable Kevin made a house call. He went right to work on my problem and got it running smoothly. I found Kevin to be courteous and knowledgeable. Price was reasonable.

He helped me with some fuel system and tune up issues with my 1991 Honda Shadow. He also did an oil change and adjusted my rear fender. I couldn't find anyone in town to work on custom bikes but he was willing and did a great job. His quality of work was outstanding and at a great value. I will use him in the future and would recommend him to anyone.Services: Body & Trim, Oil change

ABOVE AND BEYONDDad s Garage is absolutely wonderful Talk about HEROS - They literally saved/rescued us!! (On the side of the road) We are so thankful for them!! Kevin is awesome. bought a bike and it started overheating before I got out of town. He came out with a trailer and towed the bike back to his shop. He's knowledgeable enough that he was pretty much able to diag the issue in the parking lot where he pick up the bike. Honest and fair. Took my motorcycle in for work on the carburetor it was by far the best experience I've ever had with mechanic. Kevin has a true passion for his craft and does high quality work. I asked on Facebook for someone that could fix my car at a reasonable price and soon. Kevin contacted me. He asked me what the car was doing and I described it to him. He came to me and figured out what was wrong with it and, since I had money sooner than I thought, went and got the parts and fixed it. The problem wasn't what I thought it was. When he found the issue, he told us what it was and told us how much it would be before he continued. I can't really express more how much I appreciate him. He gave me some business cards and I'll be happy to hand all but one of them out. That one I'll keep in my wallet.

My car window would not roll back up and it is frigid weather with snow showers and cold winds. I asked for recommendations in a neighborhood chat group on facebook. Kevin Okum, owner of Dads garage automotive & Motercycle, was one of the respondents. Since he is less than 10 minutes from my house, which was important because the window was down, I decided to try him out. Within the space of about 3 minutes he told me what he thought the problem was and then another 5 minutes he had it fixed. Because it was so simple (apparently the track had not been correctly lubricated when it came off the assembly line) to fix with a can of WD-40, he was gracious enough to not even charge me! What a super young man! He could have told me any number of things was wrong and would cost hundreds of dollars and I wouldn't have known the difference. His honesty and integrity are very refreshing and encouraging. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Kevin came out quickly and was able to diagnose the problem I was having with my Jeep and even rescued a family of squirrels that was living under my hood I really appreciated that he took a video to show me what the problem was!
