I can't express enough on how good the service i was given at Main Street Auto!! Got my truck fully bullet proofed! The Works. New set of heads, gaskets, head studs, oil cooler, water pump, glow plugs, blue spring kit and way more! They also under coated the frame and underbody! Not only did they find all the flaws from the previous shop's work, but informed me along the way. They sent me pictures and kept me up to date. I knew the owner Kera Danny Bryant was legit, honest, and actually cared about his hard work. Him and his team executed!! I drove over 6 hours from Michigan to Kentucky! Thats how legit their work is and no one could beat their prices! Those that want honest work with great pricing with out the worry, take your vehicle to Main Street Auto!

I spent $800 to get all 6 of my spark plugs replaced in February. By the ending of June I had the same issue. The mechanics at this shop lied and only replaced 1 spark plug. The last 5 were the original spark plugs that came wit my vehicle. I have pictures and proof. These people are scammers. I would NOT recommend taking my car here unless you have decent knowledge about cars. I do partially blame myself for being naive because he only showed me 1 spark plug after fixing my car. Not knowing that was the only one he replaced. These guys are pathetic and deserve consequences for scamming people out of hard earned money.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I sent my truck to main Street on a tow truck not knowing exactly where I was sending it, I went off of other mechanics in the Bardstown area tell me Danny was the diesel magician.I found out later that it was actually main Street Auto. He found four bad fuel injectors in my diesel and the fuel injectors I had replaced last year. Between Danny and myself we were able to get the fuel injectors covered by warranty however it would be two and a half days to get them. The injectors came in late on a Friday afternoon and Danny got them all in got the truck going and even stayed late to make sure that I got my truck back before the weekend..Go Danny go just to say how pleased I am how quickly he was able to get the truck up and running doesn't really seem like enough.I highly recommend this garage especially for Fords. I would say with his knowledge of diesel engines that he could work on just about any of them, and he does excellent work from what I've been able to tell.I will not hesitate in the future to take it to main Street Auto and Danny if I have more diesel dilemma!!!

Ordered a turbo in February of 2023 through Danny, he kept saying it was out of stock. I called the company Thoroughbred diesel where he orders parts and ordered the turbo. It showed up a week later. He won't refund me or return my phone calls or texts

These people are Godsent. This family run business exemplifies nothing but quality service and the best customer care I have ever gotten from any auto service shop. They gave me amazing prices for a lot of engine labor replacing multiple deep engine parts in my Ford 6.0. I will always be bringing my truck here for any diesel needs, despite living an hour and a half away. Great family business who does honest work. Danny is very knowledgeable and got me and my truck taken care of. Engine rebuilt and back together with upgraded parts. These guys specialize in the 6.0L diesel. My A/C compressor ate itself halfway between Asheville and Lexington. These guys were able to slide me in that day, get the parts in overnight, and then stayed late to get it done so I could get back to my vacation. Once it was finished they charged me less than I had paid the last time I replaced the system a few years ago.Besides all of that, they spent time showing me things on my engine, another engine they had on a stand, and the engine in a similar truck to help me better understand some of the mechanical questions I had been trying to figure out. I highly recommend this shop. I am considering making the 7� hour drive to go back to this shop for some work I need done next year.

Danny checked out a 6.0 at a dealership I was looking at buying for free. Very knowledgeable guy and does fantastic work. Highly recommended this shop 10 out of 10!

Owner would not return calls, texts or messages. He lied about where the vehicle was in repair status. (mechanics stories varied from his). Had to drive over an hour to get any answers as to what was going on with the vehicle. Personal opinion he is too immature and does not have enough business sense to be running this shop. Would never recommend anyone taking their vehicle to this black hole.Service: Auto engine diagnostic
