Spare yourself, and Please go somewhere else for diagnostic & repair.I can t say anything about Sales, but if you don t want your safety put at risk, your car misdiagnosed, and $800 worth of damage they flip the bird to AVOID at the end, the original issue will be left, they will charge you for parts & labor that YOU DON T need at ALL, and their incompetence will cost you time, money, and the safety of anyone rising in your vehicle; due to negligence.

This is probably the best used car dealer in the area! Everyone here is super kind and courteous. They sold me a 2013 civic and its been super reliable and they worked with me to get a good deal. I recommend this dealer to all my friends and family. 10/5 stars!

These people are honest and kind hearted, as well as knowledgeable and respectable. In this particular industry, it is very rare to see all of these traits.I am from out of state, and was on my way through the area when my family and I had what we believed to be a major issue with our vehicle. They could have charged me for the inspection and even the rides to and from my hotel, and I would have paid. Instead, they were terrific with their humanity and empathy! I do not live anywhere near them, but I would gladly drive the 4 hours to do business with them, any day of the week!Thank you, and keep being a beacon of light in this world that is in so much need of it!

I've lived in georgetown for 3 years now. With my work van I've tried to find a decent shop that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. I've tried 3 or 4 shops which I will not mention. They were either too busy or too pricey. J & B has fair pricing and they have got me in the next day for repairs. The only place ill take any of our vehicles now.

Absolutely love these guys. I was very late making my payments, but I tried my best to keep them up to date and let them know when and how much I could pay. I bought my 2008 honda fit from them in april paid it off in June. They treated me like a real person and I'm very grateful for that. I'll be taking my car to J&B Auto Mart for all future repairs that are over my head. Thank you all for your amazing service and getting me into a car I'm over the moon with!

Went to buy a used car, coming from Louisville. Most the process went without a hitch, right up through buying the car, and for that this place should earn 4-5 stars. However as part of the haggling, I asked for the final price of the car if J&B would rotate and balance the tires before I drove it off. They graciously stayed open another hour for me since I was a hopeful buyer, and verbally promised (unfortunately, not in writing) that he'd balance and rotate the tires before I came back to pick the car up when the auto shop was open. Drove back again over the weekend from Louisville to pick the car up to find the tires had not been done, and upon messaging the dealer, he admitted fault and will find out what happened. I said I will not be driving back to Louisville without the purchased vehicle, only to drive back to Lexington all over again because you messed up, and I will get the tires rotated in Louisville and J&B can comp me the $38 it would cost. J&B has refused to pay me or acknowledge any of my online messages since, even though they are confirmed as being read. I understand the agreement was not in writing to balance and rotate, but Thomas (head honcho) seemed like a trustworthy guy and thought a verbal handshake would suffice. Apparently not, and he refuses to make this wrong right. Will eventually be filing a BBB complaint for misleading me during the agreement of the sale of a car over a petty $38.Ironically in my purchase documents, there is a document saying the car was sold "As-is" and says "spoken promises are difficult to enforce. Ask the dealer to put all promises in writing." On a certain level this is my mistake for not forcing him to put the tire rotation and balance in writing, so I warn all future buyers - don't trust his word, make him put all agreements in writing before signing the purchase. Would you choose a business whose verbal AND written word you can trust? Or one who doesn't care so much about what he promised you face to face, and refuses to correct an admitted mistake?

Dropped a vehicle off to them for the same problem they fixed 2-3 weeks prior to that and they never called to inform me of any other problems and when I asked them why they fixed it without my acknowledge they proceeded to tell me I could pay $150 for a $26 part that probably too 20 mins to replace but I never gave them the go ahead to replace that part and also never called to let me know that my vehicle was ready so I told them I was aware of the other problem and only reason it came there was because I paid to much to have it fixed for the same problem to occur and the owner felt stupid because I knew exactly what I was talking about and started being extremely unprofessional about the situation and calling me a bunch of names and when I picked my piece of shit up that old man that calls his self a owner didn t have nothing to say to my face when I told them speaking to customers that way is unprofessional until I walked out of the door!!!! Would not recommend themselves horrible humans to anyone.

J&B Auto were very helpful in repairing my truck. The work they did in replacing a gasket for my oil pan was done correctly and the cost was less then other estimates I received for the work. They fixed a leak in the storage water tank for the A/C before taking out the dash board to install a heater core that included the tank needed. I would highly recommend J&B Auto Mart for you repair work.

J & B SAVED OUR LIFE! After a brutal car accident hydroplaning Sharpe's Towing Service brought us to J & B and told us that they would help us out. AND They did.We called in the morning to tell them our car was in their lot from the night before. We got there and they took care of everything in 2 hours (ordered our parts, installed our parts and gave us a free spare tire so we wouldn't have to drive home back to Michigan with a spare - 5 hour trip) The service was great. Very kind and honest people.And they didn't burn our pockets or charge us more because we visitors and desperate. They're generosity will not be forgotten. I would recommend them to anyone who needs car repair help if they are ever in the Georgetown, KY area.LOVE YOU GUYS! Thanks Again

Been a customer since I was 16. Tom sold me my first car and has sold my family several since and has always been a man to stand behind his product. Me and my wife have had to replace the starter, the rear wheel barrings, and the radiator and they took our after market warranty and were able to apply it to two of the repairs saving us hundreds and got each job done in a day. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I've been dealing with this business for a couple of years now. I have never been disappointed. Of course getting your broken car fixed is never fun but they are very reliable and the service is great. They have fixed my old car several times and made it as affordable as they could.

They tried to over and double charge me and my mom on 2 different cars that we paid them to do, brought it back bc what they was suppose to fix had the same problem 2 weeks after. Asked them about it and they cussed us and told us to come get the car and not to come back. Also they tried telling us they bought new parts but it was still the same old one on there. Would not recommend on going there for anyone.

I ve had a few jobs done here over that last 8 years on my vehicles and they ve done great work and have good pricing! If your looking to be done right and not get over priced then come here to J&B auto. I don t take my vehicles anywhere else. Tom s the owner and he s a good honest man.

I stopped in really after hours, but they were still there, for an emergency with my car. They took the time to diagnose the problem and come up with a plan to fix it first thing in the morning. I have used them many yrs ago and had great service then too. Absolutely recommend them!

It's difficult to find a good, honest mechanic, but they definitely are. They've told me when I didn't need a repair and didn't charge me for telling me either! They are very busy, so I'd recommend calling before just showing up. We've had all of our cars serviced here and have to been disappointed.

First they quoted me on a price for a project, and when I went back to get it done they almost doubled the price. THEN they called and told me my calipers needed replacement immediately (when they didn't need to be) and didn't even replace my hoses like the were supposed to. A month later I'm back in a new shop fixing what they should've done in the first place. NEVER coming back here!!

Had the unfortunate experience of losing an alternator on a road trip back in 2013 on my 2002 V70 Volvo. Not many options when you car is dead along the road. Wound up going to J&B Auto mart for repairs. Granted the alternator performed fine fine for 7 year, but, always a but.It failed recently. Since i do most of my own work I obtained a new alternator and when i replaced it i found some disturbing things wrong.1) The main terminal lug had the lock washer installed on the wrong side of the lug. This, I believe is the primary reason the alternator failed. The nut loosened up and stressed the alternator.2) There are a handful of fasteners the secure the alternator to the block. One of the more difficult to reach ones was not reinstalled. Although this didn't cause problems, it is poor workmanship.I will obviously not be visiting this repair facility again. Keep the newbies sweeping the floor until the learn the trade.

If you are looking for good customer service this is NOT the place to go . The way they speak to paying CUSTOMERS is disgusting . Highly wouldn t recommend!!!!!
