Nate did an awesome job on my Tacoma! I was rear-ended back in December and the first estimate I had done wanted to total the vehicle with repairs almost exceeding $5,000. It was becoming near impossible to find a shop that would either do partial repairs or allow paying out of pocket vs going through insurance. After being referred to Freeman s, I drove over the same day. He took a look at everything and got back with a quote in less than a week for less then HALF the amount of my original estimate and was able to fix all damages. I dropped off my truck on a Sunday and it was ready the following Friday. The quality of work, professionalism, and pricing was amazing, and I will definitely be returning for any future bodywork!

So my dear neighbor backed in to my car on September 23 of 2023. It made a basketball sized indentation in the front side-panel / headlight / bumper of my 2018 VW Tiguan. The damage unfortunately was pressing against the driver's side door and prevented me from opening the driver's side door. Therefore my car was out of commission until this repair was done. I really needed my car back fast. I called around to every bodyshop in a 60 mile radius from Frankfort KY. Everybody was booked. I mean booked up for over a month; some places were booked for 2 and 3 months. I've lived in Frankfort for 22 years. And I've only had to get bodywork done one other time many years ago. I took it to Dunn's Body Shop in Frankfort. They did great work on my Honda Odyssey. I called them first. They sadly are out of business now. So I called every shop in Lexington, Georgetown, and Lawrenceburg. One of the shops I called was Mr. Freeman at Freeman's Autobody in Frankfort KY. And he was the one who could get me in the soonest. He gave me an appt for Oct 23rd, which was the soonest anyone had told me. That's really why I chose him. I took the car to him and he gave me a very fair estimate for the repair, and that is precisely how much it ended up costing. The best thing about the Freeman shop is the quality of the work. You cannot tell that there was ever any damage to my car. It looks just like new. I will be taking all my body work to him in the future. The owner is Nate Freeman. He's a good guy. Took my car to Nate on 8/3 to have him give me a quote to fix my door/window. Nate was super friendly and willing to fix it. He said he'll have a quote ready for me within the next day. The next day he called to tell me he was busy and was unable to put my quote together, I understood knowing he was a one man show and thanked him for calling to let me know. A few days later, Nate called to tell me how much it was going to cost me to fix it, I agreed to the price and told him to go ahead and order the part and that I will drop my car off when it arrived, pay for the part and his time/service (he was in agreeance and said it should only take him a day to fix it once the part comes in). A week and a half later, I never heard from him so I called and texted a few times. No answer.My husband called on 8/21 and was able to get ahold of Nate. Nate told my husband I was suppose to come by his shop to pick up a quote and never showed up so he didn't order the part..... My husband started to question him because he was with me the last time I spoke to Nate. Nate told him to go find someone else to fix my car because we didn't give him any money to order the part... If he were to ask for a deposit or anything of that sort, I would have been happy to pay for it but instead of not wanting to fix my car, he ignored my calls/texts and lied about it. Leaving a review just so all is aware, hope you have a better experience than we did. *We were referred to Nate by Sonny Dunn's since they are closing.

Nate did an excellent job on my vehicle! He was professional, very friendly and he really takes pride in his work, which can be seen on every vehicle he works on! He will be my "go to" for any of my automotive needs from now on!!!!

Mr. Freeman can throw down some paint!!! and is a awesome body man. He is very good at what he does, he has great prices and a great guy. If you want you vehicle looking show quality he is the man. Give Nate a call at freeman's Auto Body he will take care of you.
