Had Maaco of Florence Ky paint my 2002 Chevy extreme. Full color change to midnight black. You would never know this was a single stage paint job. Looks like it was wet sanded and buffed. This location has one of the best paint guy I ve ever seen. Can t wait to finish this project truck and give it to my son for his 16th birthday !!!!

First of all I am an expat, sorry in advance if my English is not perfect... Worst service ever, I took my car for a painting repair in the rear bumper, they did the job though the paint was not perfect (it was just acceptable), however to do this job they removed the bumper and also they removed the blindspot sensors, when they re-installed the blind spot sensors, they installed them backwards (incorrectly), so they are showing fake signals. I had to take my car to Mazda and they realized of this issue, so I went back and they told me that their technician didn't do that and that they were not going to fix it... basically they are saying that I did that, and that is stupid, why would I remove the bumper again after their job to place the blindspot sensors wrongly? I feel very frustrated with this, probably I will sue this place, they are good to charge you, but their lead times are bad, they don't fulfill, the car was delivered unclean (inside and outside) though they charge for the cleaning and their warranty is also bad. Don't bring your car here, you will be paying more afterwards. Go to a better place, don't risk your car (photos showing the plate are how they should have installed the sensors and the one with the letters is the how they installed them).*************************************I want to provide an update on my review. I complained with their corporate (besides also all their social media) about this incident and their regional manager called me to apologize for my experience with their location in Florence, KY and asked me to bring the car again because she said that they would fix the issue. I did that and they fixed the blindspot sensors and they apologized with me for all the inconveniences caused, I appreciate the gesture and I am justly updating my review, however due the amounts of money and time I spent and the final result, this will be my max score.Service: Painting

I have a vintage 1947 Dodge Truck. Maaco Florence was the only paint and body shop that would consider painting it for me. All other shops in the area only wanted to do insurance work. In addition to paint one of the fenders needed some body work. After some negotiation we agree on a price and plan. I am very pleased with the results. I am still in the process of reassembling the truck after receiving all the painted pieces but I could not be happier with the results.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My car turned out amazing, paint matched perfect. Couldnt be happier about the whole experience. Lee the owner and Bill made sure everything I wanted done to my car was complete, exactly as I requested. All at a more than fair price. Now my car looks new again!

I had a car painted back in 2007, a great experience, car was well cared and painting was super! I came back to so the spoiler of my car, and they took the time and caring and finished it very good, matching car paint! Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Maaco! Thank you!

I have to say that they did not do a job made to last. My vehicle is a 2015 and the hood never had any chipping before. In 2019 I was in a wreck in November and maaco replaced my hood which they painted to match. 2 years later and my paint is chipping and the hood is rusting. Bear in mind this was an insurance repair so the cost was no issue. Of course the warranty won't cover this being 2 years out but just be aware, the factory paint on my car has otherwise shown no wear. You want your car painted elsewhere.

I had work performed by Maaco a month ago. I had to bring back my Trailblazer to have an area repainted. They repaired the paint job that was from the original repair and it was done to my satisfaction. Just make sure you call before you go to pick it up even if they tell you it will be ready. They told me it would be ready for pick up on Thursday. When I got someone lined up and took me on Thursday morning I was informed sorry it's not ready.Service: Painting

My pickup was severely damaged in a hail storm. They brought the body back to looking new. However, they missed a couple dents. Didn't put push pins in the taillight housing to hold the taillight in place. Left bolts and clips off 2 wheel well covers. Put a new roof panel in, but used the old seal strips that kept coming off. Left dusty footprints inside. Brand new windshield, didn't get wiped. Under the hood is absolutely covered in paint dust. It was in detail a day and a half and it didn't look like they detailed anything. Detailing a vehicle after repairs should be top priority. Here it is not. This was my second time using this Macco facility. I don't think I'll use them again. The paint job itself is very nice. The first time there, they were supposed to replace the tailgate top trim, they glued it back down and did the same thing this time.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I had this Maaco paint the fenders and 2 piece tank on my motorcycle. I had shopped around to compare rates and timelines for several body shops in my area. Maaco was priced in the middle, but they didn't have a wait to get the job done, where the other places had big back logs.They said it would take about a week for the work to be done. I received a call a few days later saying they found a couple of dents that would need to be fixed. The tanks were brand new and I anticipated some small dents from shipping. One of the other quotes I had recieved specifically noted they would have to repair the dents, and it still was less than Maaco by a couple hundred bucks. I had assumed the quote from Maaco included the cost to repair the dents; instead they said it would cost several hundred dollars more due to labor costs. I said that for that additional few hundred dollars I would pick up the tins without them having been worked on and take them to the other shop. Maaco was able to bring their price back down to be competitive, so I decided to go ahead and let them do the work.I tried calling several times the following week to get an update on when I should plan to go pick everything up, at least 4 times I didn't get an answer and got the message that the voicemail had not been set up so I was not able to leave a message. I was finally able to reach someone, and they said the tins were done and ready to be picked up, but that they just hadn't called yet.When I went to pick everything up, I was initially very impressed with the paint job, and absolutely loved (and still do love) the color. However, I did not inspect the work closely enough. When I got home, I found two spots where there were runs in the paint, and one large lump that I assume came from paint dripping off that one spot. Also, they left the tape on the tanks for me to remove. I thought it would be much easier to get the tape off, but I had to use a razor blade to get everything off!Overall, I do really love the color and get compliments on it every time I take my bike out. I had nothing but great experiences when I was actually at the store. However, due to the attempt to increase the cost by approximately 50% (that did come back down after I said I would take my business elsewhere), the inability to speak on the phone with someone at the store, no removing the painters tape, and the multiple imperfections in the paint, I would not recommend this Maaco location to others.Service: Painting

Great work for a great price! Had them paint my civic which was in dire need of some love. Got it back in about a week and it looks AWESOME! No orange peel texture and consistent color all over. Note, they don't do door jams etc, but I don't care about that.

I don't even know where to begin with how bad my experience was with MAACO. During a snowstorm in the winter, my car slid into a ditch and I needed to replace my grill, front bumper, and needed my skidgard put back in place. I paid around $950 for all of it. They said it would be ready the same day at the end of the day. Close to closing time, they called me and said it wouldn't be ready until the next day. I didn't think it was a big deal at first. Next day I got my car and drove home. A few weeks later, I noticed my front bumper was falling out of place, my fog light was falling out, they didn't even replace my grill, and my skidgard had started to fall off again(I didn't hit or scrap on anything to make it fall off) so I took it back because they practically barely did anything. The shop worker said "oh yeah, your grill has been sitting on the shelf this whole time." I don't get why they never replaced it if they already had it to begin with. I took it back to the shop to get it all worked out around 8:15 am. They said it would be ready around noon. Around 5 o clock, I called( because they never called me yet) and they said they needed an extra day to fix it again as if 5.5 more hours of extra time wasn't enough. They said the next day at 11am, it would be ready. So for the mean time, I have been using my moms car to get to work and back. They close the next day at noon and they are closed sunday. I work 3rd shift so I usually go to bed around 8am. I stayed up a little later and called them around 9 to see if its ready yet so I can pick it up before going to sleep so I would have my car for the weekend and the lady said she'd call me back in a few minutes. I waited 2 more hours and called them at 11( the time they said it would be done for the 2nd day now) but the lady said, it won't be ready until 11:45. Called them back at 11:45 and they pushed it back until 12:30. Now I am extremely tired and I wanted my car for the weekend so I wouldn't be stuck without a car on my only off days.Service: Body & Trim

Horrible service. The first car I dropped off the timing was good however door jams was not done properly. I didn't notice until after a few days. I dropped off a second car when I picked the first car. Big mistake... They had my second car fron 6/17 until 7/23. After 3 weeks I called and left message with no returned calls. I finally with to the shop to see what was going on with my car and the General manager Julie Volz had so many excuses to why no one was communicating with me on what was going on with my car. She promised my car was next to be painted and that she would email me and be sure to keep me updated. That was not the case. On 7/22 I got a call stating that my car was ready but they had to order a fuse for my car and that it will be ready 7/23. On 7/23 I got a call that it was ready but the door jams needed to be re done. I go to the shop because at this point I just wanted to get my car. They refund me $250 for the jams and gave a 10% discount. I left with my car only to get stuck at the gas station because I couldn't get the gear to shift and the radio is not working. I noticed then that the button was missing and they had stuck a key in it to unlock the gear. So every time you take the car out of park I have to use that key to unlock the gear. Of course they are not owning up the a problem that they caused. HORRIBLE SERVICE and DAN that works in the office is very RUDE and nasty.Service: Painting

Brought my Dodge Dakota into have the cab repainted since the clear coat had started to fade and didn't want the black paint o rust. After getting a quote and okaying the work, they kept changing the amount of work and cost for it. This ended up not including ordering new parts and bringing them to them, such as door emblems which they removed and weathered window sashes. Planned it for months, expected it to be be finished before or on Veteran's Day, but low and behold when I go up there, they did only half the work, leaving all sides of the extended cab with faded paint and instead of painting into the door wells, they abruptly stopped at edge of doors (So you can see the edge where the tape was). Also they did not remove anything exterior dome light or antenna so you can see where the paint comes up over it's edges (Hope my dome light never needs replacing again). As Vet, will Vet plates I thought this would prompt them to make right what they obvious didn't do. However, the excuse was that the guy working on my truck had a illness in the family and that the estimate was only for the two doors and top of cab. After showing him what was originally discussed and him taking to his manager they only authorized more work after I agreed to pay 25% of the original work, with the bill now being a couple grand for just the cab. After picking it up I had to show them where someone had tried to fix a mistake with touch up paint, but all it had done was run down the door. Guy said about bring it back, but I will never go back to them again. As a teacher, Navy Vet, father, and husband I don't have that kind of dough to throw away. I've had the truck for going on 20 years .

I hit a deer in April 2021.I took my car in for repairs on April 8th 2021. My Security system was no longer working, my Air conditioning wasn t working anymore . I had previous damage that insurance would not pay for. I was told it would be 1250.00 to fix that on top of my 500.00 deductible. I said ok I want that fixed. I was told it would be around 2 weeks. I just got my car on May 12 2021. The security system is still not working and they did not fix the fender! They offered to order the fender and I said no I ll take it somewhere else. They don t communicate with you or your insurance company very well at all. If I could give negative stars I would give -5 StarsServices: Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim, Air conditioning

Took my truck in to get painted. Clear coat was peeling really bad on the hood, roof and truck cap. Was told it would take a week. Two weeks pasted and no phone call so I called to check. They said they have not started yet but would start next week. They called me that following Monday to tell me it would require more sanding and prep work then the original estimate. I agreed to the extra work and the gentleman said they would have it done in a week. A week past I called again to check. They started the prep work but still no paint. The following week I called it was painted but had some issues .fish eyes and runs. They said they are going to fix the issues. After a few weeks pasted I called again and the truck was repainted but they were waiting install my badges. A week past and they called to say it was done. I inspected the truck and noticed a few issue. I told them my concerns they agreed to fix the issues. A week latter they said it was finished. It took 8 weeks total. The paint job looks good overall but better communication was needed.Service: Painting

Took my silverado in for rocker rust repair. Told the employee I wanted it dont right and wasn't concerned of the price. I have always heard horror stories of going to maaco but also heard great ones if you pay the money. Well I feel like I paid the money and after waiting 3 weeks I finally got it back. A few paint runs were very noticeable, over spray all over the frame of the truck(which i just had painted black) and more overspray on fenders and bed. On top of all this i take it home and find masking tape left on it. Before paying for the work I told them my concerns and asked for money off. He just replied with excuses and how hard it is to paint rockers. So I contacted corporate and......nothing. I am not a paint and body guy and if I known this was the quality of work I was going to get I would have done it myself.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I will definitely return in the case I need to. Was here today because my kid scratched my 2 day old new car. The gentleman that answered my call and then did my estimate was very nice and pleasant to talk to. Although I was unable to afford to paint the entire panel as priced he was very helpful. I actually went to the dealership got a pen and he fixed it for. I wish I got his name he was very nice

Maaco restored my 2004 Dodge truck in just a few short days. I had a couple of lingering issues from some significant dents from years ago. Now I get comments from folks wondering who did the restoration. I m totally satisfied with the workmanship and professionalism of this repair. Thanks, Maaco!

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4WD that had some major issues withthe factory paint job, it required sanding down to the metal. Lee Masonand the body shop employees worked wonders on my truck. The trucklooks better now than when I bought it off the car lot New. They evenwashed the mag rims on the truck, I could never get those rims clean.My wife and I are really happy with the work performed by MaacoI would highly recommend Maaco for any auto body repairs.

Bob was Amazing to deal with. He walked me through everything and gave me a very reasonable quote. I only had a few minor issues and let Bob know and he said they would take care of it and it was no problem at all. Customer Service is EXCELLENT!!
