Staff was very polite and friendly which is a big improvement from the last time I was there years ago. Service took 4 hours which seems really long for an oil change and humidity sensor that just snaps into the rear view mirror assembly. I also asked for the multi point inspection, but that didn't happen because I left one tire very low on air. It was the same pressure after I got the car back. But they did rotate the tires.

Zimmer is family owned and they treat you like family. Their service is fast and accurate. They keep you informed every step during your visit. I highly recommend them for any of your automotive needs.

We bought a brand new Wrangler 6 months ago, and just had our first scheduled service. Brook couldn t have made the experience simpler or easier. She was accommodating to reschedule us earlier due to upcoming bad weather. Once we arrived we re were promptly greeted by multiple employees and all were very friendly. The facility is super clean, I noticed even the large glass garage door was spotless. This attention to detail tells me they treat my Jeep with care and respect. While we waited, Max, the salesman who sold us our Jeep came over to say hi and chat a bit. Super nice guy I ll gladly do business with again. The entire Zimmer experience has been 5 stars!

Check in was super easy. Everyone was courteous. Check out was just as easy with no issues. They were only taking care of a factory warranty defect and I got my vehicle back in a few hours. But nonetheless, everything went smoothly.

Work was fine, it was an oil change. Dealership is clean everyone was professional, my issue is I paid over $100 for an oil change and it took 2 hours when I had an appointment. What good is it to make an appointment if you have to wait that long? Supposed to do a multipoint inspection too, but no paperwork or explanation of what they found. Feel like I got better service at the instant places and don t waste my time.Next trip. Had them program remote start and did good. Got it done faster than they said.

Very nice staff. They informed me of a cracked oil cooler on my 2020 Ram Rebel, which was fine? However, it was so a matter of fact of how they presented the $1100 estimate, I was a little surprised, given that the truck was just over 3 years old. I had to let them know it should be covered under warranty, which gave them pause, as if they had their doubts.I think a more proactive approach to keep surprises to a minimum: look up whether the vehicle is under a factory warranty or under an extended warranty PRIOR to letting a customer know of a repair (it was covered under the extended warranty I purchased). Be an advocate for the customer and don t force us to inform the service center of any warranty work.It s just common sense to me and will save a lot of needless stress to let customers know. Be proactive, and customers will be happier that you took the effort to minimize an unexpected repair surprise.Other than that, it was a pleasant experience as far as basic maintenance goes (oil change and tire rotation). I d recommend them, no problem.

The communication from the service advisor was excellent. He explained the diagnosis and my options thoroughly. This allowed me to make the best informed decision. When the work was done they made sure to schedule it so that I was without my car for only 1 day.

I live out of town and my vehicle broke down while traveling through Florence last night. I had no idea what to do since I am not local, and do not know the area. I ended up having it towed to the Zimmer dealership and booked a local hotel. I use a similar Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM dealer in my town, and fully expected my vehicle to take a long time to be seen in their service department. My dealership in Asheville typically takes a few weeks to get an appointment . This was not the case in this circumstance! The tow truck driver dropped the truck off in the middle of the night and put my keys in the service dept. overnight lock box. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my truck was already in their shop, raised up on the lift, being evaluated when I arrived back to the dealer at 9 am today, shortly after they open to customers. My service advisor, Bryan B, immediately greeted me and listened to my story. He made me feel like I was a priority and told me that he would order the necessary part, and that it would be delivered to him by tomorrow morning. He estimated my repair would be complete by tomorrow at noon. I was happy with this timeline and decided to stay one more night in the hotel. I received a call from Bryan approximately 6 hours after I left the service dept. today with the extremely good and surprising news that they were able to get the part earlier than expected, and that my truck was repaired and service complete... I cannot believe how fast they got my truck repaired! I sincerely appreciate the attention and compassion that Bryan showed me during my visit. He treated me like I had done business with him for years, and yet I am just a traveler he met for the first and very possibly last time. Thank you Bryan for the help, and thanks to the service techs who made the repair!

I had custom ordered a Wrangler in the late Summer and finally took delivery of it in January of 24. The team at Zimmer was very good at staying in touch and letting me know of any updates to the status of that build. The vehicle came in on a Friday and the team worked very hard to get it ready for me to pick up the next day. Once at the dealer they made me feel like family and they surely take care of their customers to make sure there is surely no other place you would rather buy a new vehicle from. Vince was very concerned with my comfort and happiness and still reaches out on the regular almost a month later.

My service technician was very polite and knowledgeable. I am not happy with Dodge as now you have to pay for a tire rotation whether or not you need one or not. My technician said that it is now included in the oil change. I get my tires rotated for free at tire discounters where I buy my tires. I have done service with Zimmer ever since I bought this truck in 2016. I have had all work done there. You all use to offer discounts and coupons that was good for different service issues, you are no longer doing that. I will no longer be doing business with any Dodge dealer as I will find a new place to get my truck service. As a matter of fact I checked with tire discounters, and I can get an oil change for about 1/2 of what i paid for one today at Zimmer.

Scott B is excellent here but the excellence stops here for the service department. We scheduled a routine oil change and tire rotation. They decided the tire tread was the same so need to rotate, didn t reset our oil life not made a sticker. However, we paid for all services!

I purchased my 2012 Dodge Journey from Zimmer new and have had very good service the entire time of ownership. In my last experience with then they were able to diagnose the problem quickly and kept me informed along the way with a speedy repair to my car. I was treated with respect and courtesy.

They wanted to charge us $650 because they couldn't remove the valve stem caps. They said it was normal wear and tear and they weren't dealer caps - we have not changed anything on our new truck and have only had it serviced at this dealer. My husband brought the truck home and was able to remove them by hand in less than 5 minutes. So disappointed in this dealer and brand for allowing this to happen.

I booked a service appointment for my 90k routine maintenance and a check engine light. My original appointment was at 3:30 PM on a Friday. The service representative neglected to tell me that it was a drop off and no loaner vehicles were available. I only found this out after driving all the way there. I rescheduled my appointment and the service representative gave me their business card to call them the day of the appointment to see if there were loaners that would be available. I called and left a voicemail. No response. I then scheduled another appointment after not receiving a call back. Upon showing up, I was told it would be $200 to review the check engine light fault code. Something I had already had Autozone do for free. The fault code was for a leak in the evaporative sensor. Easy fix and paying $200 to just review the fault code is absurd. I declined this service. I then waited for the routine maintenance to be completed in the lobby. Upon completion, I was taken to the service desk to checkout and pay. No summary of the multi point inspection was given. No feedback on how the car looked or any recommendations for future maintenance. I was told the report was digital and that was it. I still have yet to receive a link to the digital report. I have been to this dealership multiple times for service and never felt it was this bad. All around poor experience. If you are looking to service your Jeep, I suggest you choose elsewhere.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Oil change

The gentleman that greeted to me was very polite and quickly covered my seats in floor mats with disposable paper which was impressive. However, he seemed new with the check-in process which took a little bit. I made an online appointment and noted all of my issues but it seemed none of that transferred to the service center. Not a huge deal just a small inconvenience. Then I met Bryan and he was fantastic! He kept me updated on the progress the day my car was in the shop and answered all my questions upon pickup. I will be back to Zimmer for my next service!

Nice enough employees(hence the two star rating) but with a 4-6 week turnaround time and not one loaner vehicle available(?!) forces customers like myself to go elsewhere. The lack of knowledgeable staffed technicians should be a red flag to potential customers

Fantastic experience! Came in for an oil change and oil rotation and was taken care of promptly - the team at Zimmer were able to order me a Lyft so I could spend the 40 minutes until my car was ready at the Barnes and Noble nearby. Definitely bringing my jeep back in!

I took my truck in for a rear differential replacement with warranty. They called me twice about two different issues saying my Ebrakes aren t working and my air ride isn t working. Both worked fine before the service here. I tried to make a claim for the damage they caused and they told me their managers and GM were in a meeting . They said that the HR department would call me about this claim. Haven t heard a word and they are trying to sweep it under the rug. This service department is a joke. They had my truck for 4 weeks for a 6 hour job .

From a service perspective, work on my vehicle is generally done very well. On the communication side from the service department is not strong. Often you do not hear back when you were told you would, misinformation is provided at times, leave many voicemails with no callbacks, etc etc. I understand these folks (and Zimmer) are busy, however it makes me not want to do business with them. I have wasted so much time/days leaving my vehicle due to lack of communication and incorrect communication.

Scheduled appt. Thurs Jan 25, 7am. Front end squeak when turning steering wheel. I told Service Advisor thst I suspected drivers side ball joints. I requested that all 4 ball joints on Jeep Wrangler to be replaced. Also, replace drivers side tie rod end that had damaged rubber grease boot. Work began and completed 7 days later, Thurs Feb. 1. I was without my vehicle for 7 1/2 days. Since I had a 7am appt, I thought I should of got my Jeep back 2 days (Fri), no more than 3 days (Sat) later.

Everything was great. The job/work, the Time it took was great. One exception..... I had a plug inserted in the OBDII port when I arrived. When I picked up my truck (2016 RAM 1500 Big Horn) that plug was put into a side pocket on the drivers door. I asked the greeting tech if the plug was returned. It was not. He assumed it was some kind of MPG influencer. It actually comes from you guys. Any vehicle that utilizes the "U-Connect" program must have that plugged into the OBDII port. Not having it in there disables any function that the owner may have purchased. Such as internet hotspot. Or being able to lock my keys inside. I can use my cell phone to open the door. Start the truck without the key fob. Find my truck... (that's a good one) Sure glad I noticed it missing when I got in.Perhaps a lesson to the techs that the MOPAR boys have customers too.

A couple of months ago while my jeep was in for maintenance, I asked them to rotate the tires. I specifically requested multiple times for them to rotate in the spare. They did not, but I let that go. Three months later, when I went to change a tire, I snapped a lug nut and broke a breaker bar trying to get the lug nuts off. When I took it back to the dealership because it was clearly not torqued properly to spec, they refused to cover it and charged me to fix it. It says something when you can t trust a dealership to rotate tires or cover clearly out of spec work. I ll be finding a new service center. Two stars because they seemed to do great work in the past, but I m now questioning it, since something as simple as a tire rotation was done incorrectly.Edit: Took it down to one star because I just picked up my Jeep and after once again asking that the spare be rotated in, and being assured my a representative that the spare would be rotated in. It was not.

Took a week to diagnose a loose ground wire on a brand new vehicle owned less than a week with 209 miles on it. General manager Lorenzo Serrano resolved the issue immediately after getting involved. Customer service should start from the beginning. It's a shame this wasn't resolved quickly.

I turned in my Ram at 9am on Nov. 3 and was told if truck was not ready that very day would the next day Nov. 4 be okay. I said yes but please stay in touch because I have to reserve a ride to come pick it up. I scheduled a ride for both Friday with no call from Zimmer and rescheduled a ride for Sat. Still no call on Sat so 2 hours before closing I called 3 times with no answer. So I called sales and asked them to take a note to someone in service to call me because I had been previously informed my truck would be ready. Still no call. So twice I had to cancel my ride to pick up the truck. Still no call on Monday until I finally got a call back telling me my truck should be ready Tuesday. I called Tuesday and was told it would be ready Wednesday which it finally was. I believe my truck was put on the back burner and in turn was thoughtlessly not contacted. So instead of waiting as told 1 1/2 days it took 5 1/2 days with a total of 8 phone calls and 5 of those calls from me getting no one in service during working hours. I am very disappointed in my service or lack there of. I know your busy and maybe short handed but communication works wonders with customers. So in conclusion this was a miserable experience with Zimmer where I bought this truck new.
