I went to Pep Boys because I thought i needed brake pads replacement and they made an detailed inspection free of charge, at the end i was informed that my brake pads were still in good shape and was not necessary replace them yet.Definitely i will come back and do my car maintenance with them.

Update: I contacted the email as asked. Went through the claims process. After having to submit my information twice because they sent us to the Texas location instead of Kentucky at first, they still denied our claim. My rear passenger tire now leaks air when the temperature gets to 60� or below, and all 4 wheels look terrible.At this point, if I could give ZERO stars, I would. On April 12th, my husband brought our pilot in for new tires. He was in a rush to get back home and did not inspect our vehicle afterward. When I got in our vehicle the next morning to take our son to school, I noticed major damage on our wheels (ALL 4!). My husband called the shop and was told we could bring it up and the manager would take pictures. I took it up that day after picking my son back up from school. The manager tried saying, "The damage didn't happen from us that is years of corrosion." So I countered with, "Then how did it just appear after getting new tires?" He didn't even take pictures. I went home and found every recent picture I could of our tires (which were obviously not corroded prior to this). My husband went back and asked to view cameras, which the manager was "conveniently," not able to get access to. He showed my husband their process, and while there, my husband pointed out a can of brake cleaner that can corrode wheels and is sometimes used to set the beads on wheels (we were told by a family friend mechanic). He denied that... However, the manager said if we got some quotes, he would submit it to his supervisor and see what he says. We submitted a letter, quotes, and before and after pictures. We have called multiple times with the same response that they haven't heard back about it yet. Here we are over a month later. Attached are before and after pictures. Our family WAS loyal customers, but after this, no thank you!

I just purchased 4 tires and had them installed today. This location not only gave me a great price, but by far they were the most friendliest tire place I called after 17 places! The location is clean has a great working area if you have to wait. Thanks for taking such great care of my car and me! Hands down I will come back.

They just recently fired Maurice because he was telling customers he fixed their car and never fixed. It was just charging them for it please please please if you want to this location make sure that you are not part of his scam he has going on. Apparently he has scammed over $100,000 from that business according to new manager.

Great oil change prices cant beat them doin it yourself. Mount and balancing is pricey for only doing half an hour of labor cost me like $140 on 205/45 17 did all 4 tires. But plus side Alejandro did fantastic job my cars clean inside and tires are perfectly balanced

Had my oil change and tire rotation but it appears my tires were not being rotated and as indicated on my receipt because today I had to purchase two new tires. Also, they mess with all the information in regards to my speedometer and temperature they don t leave it as they find it.I did not purchase these new tires at Pep Boys because I don t believe they are providing the service they should be!Customer service is no better sent 1 email no response, second email and received a response to provide information and they would follow up! It has been silence since then!

Awful experience getting new tires. Be sure to purchase online for the best price. The assistant manager was a bit huffy puffy about honoring the price from the website & the price the store manager, Maurice, quoted me. They also did not return my spare tire. Tpms is not working properly. They tried to sell me a $220 battery by saying it was dangerously low levels. Miraculously my battery is fine after a jump & no problems since then. I knew there battery was good since it was checked 2 days earlier. The older lady check-in us out said I couldn't buy a battery & carry it out to install ourselves. The website clearly allows customers to do just that. Good thing I didn't because my battery was still good.They literally say anything to get you to spend money. If your air filter is bad then but 1 on rock auto for a few bucks then install it yourself. Save $60Btw, this is the 2nd time they tried to price gauge. Stay away!

Over the phone, the service representative was very kind and offered for me to bring the car later in the evening. When it was brought in without an official appointment, they still took the car and got what I needed done in a timely manner, and at a very fair price! Thank you pep boys!

Scheduled appointment online. Needed oil change and ride sharing inspection. Did first available Friday appointment 8am. Walked in at 759am and was told it would be awhile there was 8 other 8am appointments booked prior to mine. WHY WOULD THAT TIME SLOT BE AVAILABLE THEN. Secondly, was told they don t print the blank form anymore for the inspection like they have done in the past and I would have to bring my own. I live 2 hours south. Wasted trip! Will never return for any service!

I recently had a screw in my tire and needed to get it looked at. Took the tire off the car and ran it up to Bob Sumerel on US 42 in Union and they were an utter disaster. After screwing me around all day I went ahead and got the car and tire back and ran it over to Pep Boys.I dealt with Stacy and she was amazing. Got me right in, found that the screw didn t even puncture the wall (2in self tapping screw that lodged itself in the tread only). Upon finding that she said they weren t going to charge me because they didn t really do anything.I asked them to take a look at something while they had it up on the stands because I had a knocking in my upper left wheel well. Turns out my old TPMS sensor was free in between the wheel and tire and that s what the knocking was (bought the car used, so who knows who did the previous work). Even after fixing that and getting the sensor out they didn t charge me anything.Highly recommend their services!

IF I COULD WRITE THIS WITH NO STARS I WOULD!!!I took my car there for a oil leak.I have an extended supreme warranty on my car.16 chevy cruze, im sure i will be remembered since i had to call several times for communication about my car.They had my car for 5 days total, 3 of which they were "working" on my car. No engine light, no other symptoms other than an oil leak.I was told that they needed to keep diagnosing to see what was wrong.First i was told - Massive oil leak & leaking coolantSecond - I was told you are not leaking coolantThird - I was told my head was leakingI asked how they knew? They didnt break down the engine, do any tests, so how did they know? The service manager told me that they could VISUALLY SEE THE LEAK FROM MY HEAD mind you did not take my engine apart.Then i was told that they could fix the crack in my head, or if it is warped they can send it off to be fixed (Also later on was told WE DONT FIX HEADS, THEN WHY OFFER????) BUT HE recommended that i just replace my engine but the warranty company wont pay for it all so i would have to pay for part of it "dont shoot the messenger" his exact words, I told him I am not replacing my engine.I asked him to get the head authorized to be fixed, and he said well we would have to break down the top of the engine first, so he was supposed to call to have that authorized but instead called my warranty company telling them he was going to replace my engine, of course my warranty company asked for a diagnosis and they could not come up with anything other than they visually see a head leak without removing any engine parts.The day i called to just go ahead and pick up my car, I called and the lady at the front desk and she told me "YOUR HEAD IS DONE FOR" i said "its done for?" she said "Bad choice of words, its leaking" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Then i was told i had feathering on one of my tires, took it to two shops, no feathering, and ALSO YOU GUESSED IT MY HEAD ISNT BLOWN. I was getting SCAMMED, AND GOT SCAMMED OUT OF $148 DIAGNOSTIC THAT THEY DIDNT EVEN DO!!! I have every encounter with them recorded, DO NOT GO HERE! I asked for the mechanic to come talk to me about my car, and he would not come out to talk to me. I received no paperwork since the tests didnt show anything, i walked out with a receipt for a $148 diagnosis fee that i shouldn't've have had to pay for.SHAME ON THEM!!!

Maurice and his team were absolutely amazing. They did the work promised in the time frame they said it would be done. Prices were comparable and the establishment was clean. Even the restroom.

Our AC quit working so we had them check it. Found a bad compressor. It was fixed and ready to go in one day. Thank you Stacie. She didnt fall for the Knuton valve joke!

Maurice and Sandra has outstanding customer service and truly cares about helping people get whatever they need fixed! I had a lot of complications with my car but with their patience and hard working team, everything was done professionally well in a timely fashion at an excellent price! More than happy with my experience and planing on returning if I need to!

I booked on line for a 6:30 PM for my battery to be Changed. On line said they would charge me $15.00 to change the battery and they had battery in stock.I arrived at 6:15 PM was told that they did not know I was coming, had to check to see if they had battery, and told all mechanics were gone.They did have the battery but to change the battery it was going to cost $138.00 not $15.00, and I was going to have to bring it back tomorrow.Bait and switch situation!!!!!!!

Highly recommend! Me and my husband have never had a good experience with getting tires until today. Maurice was excellent to work with and made sure that we were taken care of. He made sure that we got everything we needed and gave us the best price on a new set! Will definitely continue to be customers at this Pep Boys!

I purchased 4 new tires, alignment and road hazard warranty. Well after spending 3 hours and $1100 later I thought that my vehicle would be fine when it was done. However while driving home my alignment was so bad, the steering wheel was not straight when I was going straight and it pulled hard to the left. The technician never even test drove my vehicle, I checked my mileage in and out of the store. Here I have 1000 in tires that are being ruined from this so called alignment, so now I have to go back again and hope they get it right. I only wish I could give no stars!

This group of fine people performed some warranty work on my fuel system that was repaired at a location in Florida. Pep Boys Florence Kentucky jumped right on this repair without hesitation and the professional mechanic found and corrected the problem. When Pep Boys says they stand behind their work, they mean it 100 percent. The assistant service manager was informative throughout the process. Very pleasant and extremely professional. Thank you!

Never again. I ordered tires online from someone else, had them delivered to PB and an appointment was already set up. I got there 15 minutes early, was told it'll be 45 min, so I waited there. THREE HOURS go by and they still aren't finished. They were not busy, at all, employees were standing around in the bays talking, not working on my vehicle.Come to find out they were just being jerks (from the attitude of the employee when I asked what's up, were they having any problems because it had already been over two hours, and no they weren't having problems at all) because I didn't buy the tires from them, at a higher price of course. If they had a problem with that then why offer tire packages where you bring your own?While I'd been waiting those hours, I wandered the store countless times just to pass time and get an idea of what they had. Everything was overpriced compared to local competitors. let alone online merchants. The store looked run down as well, which is unusual for businesses in this area of town.When I got home I checked tire pressure and lug nut torque. Lug nuts weren't bad but only one tire had correct pressure, a 2nd tire close, but the other two were over 10 PSI low.This store has to be bleeding money, not getting work done and barely any other customers in the store for the hours I was there, and this store isn't in a low rent district. Just the wages of those employees standing around doing nothing while I waited, must have far exceeded the minimal profits made during that time period from selling goods and services.If they were at least friendly and TRYING to get the job done, that would be something but nope. I will not return.

My car had been in the shop twice within a month and then broke down on me in the middle of nowhere. PepBoys had an easy to use app that got me picked up and to the shop within a few hours. Once I got to the shop they were curtious, quick and, my favorite part, right! My car is running as it should be. I'm very grateful

Pep boys in Florence, KY is amazing. They didn't try to upsell me. They got me what I needed. The front desk personnel is polite. I had a replacement wheel done with alignment and balance. Fair price! If you want great service go to Pep boys in Florence, KY.

I went online to find a place to check out my a/c. I found pep boys and it said they would do a free diagnostic. Great. Sign me up. I made an appointment for the next day. I go in and guess what? No appointment. How strange I signed up for the free diagnostic but there is no information in the computer. So they schedule me an appointment 2 weeks out because they have one guy who does it and only 9-5 weekdays but you have to have it in before 2 to get checked. I go in and the free diagnostic is $75. Hmm that's not free. So now here we are 2 weeks later and zero progress. Just avoid them they lie to get you in and then lie when you get there.
