This review is only about service. July 2023 our Kia Sorento was delivered by truck for "no crank, no start". Wait at this time was 3-4 weeks. The technician diagnosed the electrical problem, that is the good news. While at the Kia dealership, I asked they diagnose the AC not working. They said it was low Freon due to leaking hose. I gave approval for the hose replacement. Waited several days for the hose. After the hose was replaced, the AC still did not work. By this time, the car had been out of service about a month. We needed the car back. I went to pick up the car and asked about the AC. I was told the AC compressor was "locking up". I asked why they did not know about the faulty compressor when diagnosing the problem. I was told there was no way to know the compressor was bad until the hose was fixed. I asked why not add some Freon before giving me a diagnosis that the low Freon was the problem caused leaking hose. I was presented with a long list of other concerns both recommended and urgent. When I got home, I pulled the plastic shield under the motor, to confirm the AC compressor spun freely. All the accessories are driven from a single serpentine belt. There is no way not to know if the AC compressor was "locking up". It would be obvious..Now the most disappointing, report claims the ball joints and sway bar links both sides were bad. The ball joints and sway bar links were just replaced about a year ago. Spark plugs need replaced, I replaced just weeks earlier. Brake pads were "less than 3mm thick". The brakes were also replaced 12-6 months ago (front/rear). Brake pads were all about 6-8mm thick. Other annoying finds, the plastic screws were not replaced when the AC hose was repaired..When I replaced the AC compressor the AC was fixed..To be honest, I did not call to complain, there is nothing they could have done to get a good review because I think it more important to warn others.

From the first time I received a call from the sales manager Jesse and my sales rep Fitz I knew I wanted to find a car at this dealership. They were both so helpful and friendly that I knew I was going to be working with people I could trust. Fitz was absolutely amazing and helped me find the right car for me, even nailing the perfect color! He went above and beyond to get me a good deal on a great car, ensuring I had a full tank of gas and knew how to use all the features of my new car before I left the lot. This will be my go to place for service and any future car needs. Highly recommend and definitely ask for Fitz!

Chuck was the best! Please go see chuck if you re looking for a car. We came in needing a bigger car right before closing. He showed us everything new and used that might fit what we were looking for. We decided on a new Kia Carnival. Based on our financial situation with a trade in, he stayed until almost 11pm to make it work for us so we could leave with a brand new car. Always with a big smile on his face, answering any questions and trying to resolve any issues. So happy with our purchase and ease it was buying from Kia with Chuck having our back! Thank you guys at Kia!

Cameron and his team treated us with utmost respect as soon as we walked in. He was professional, knowledgeable and an all round good guy. A big thank you to Fritzgerald Chibamu for helping me get into my 2015 Mazda CX-5. Very great guy and an amazing personality. His funny and comedic nature makes buying a car makes you feel at home. The best experience I ve ever had at a dealership!! I worked with Cam Carlotta, and he was so helpful, informative, and made me feel super comfortable and answered all my questions! Purchased a Kia EV-9. Fitzgerald made the process incredibly easy! He is an excellent and reliable communicator, transparent, professional, warm and welcoming, knowledgeable, and even offered to FaceTime with me if I needed extra help! He was fun and kind with my two girls whom joined me. He sat with me and showed me both necessary and just added perks of the vehicle. He reached out and checked in a few hours after our first drive. He is wonderful and we will be back to see him when we are ready for our next vehicle purchase. I will also add that the dealership was very clean and everyone was so warm and welcoming. We were congratulated on our new vehicle by several members of the dealership and a few stopped in to give us additional resources and detail on our new SUV. The sales manager followed up the next day to check in with us. My experience at Jake Sweeney Kia has been my best one yet and we will absolutely be back to see them!

I drove from Louisville to purchase my EV6 and it was 100% worth the drive. Cameron Carlotta Was outstanding communicating with me throughout the process and he was professional and responded to my questions in no a timely manner.Cameron helped get most of the items I needed to have a fast closing with the finance office and I appreciated all the purchase docs be electronic. Cameron and Jake Sweeney is a no nonsense dealer and I got a great selling price and monthly payment for my lease.

Brian and Marcus Pruitt took great care of me at Jake Sweeney Kia.My day had started out not great after another dealership was a huge let down but I eventually ended up at Jake Sweeney and am so glad I did! i ended up with a much better, newer, cheaper, less miles car than I originally was getting and NO GAMES!! There was zero pressure and the financing was good too.Brian takes customer service to another level!! He kept me informed every step of the way, answered all my questions, explained everything we were doing. And Marcus hung out just to make sure everything was good.Was night and day from the dealership I started at and Im so glad it worked out!If you are looking for a good car I highly recommend you call Brian or Marcus at Jake Sweeney Kia in Florence!!Thanks guys!! Update- It was around 5p when we started financing so some of the banks were closed, Tony in finance said he would keep working my loan to see if he could do better. Overall a pleasant purchasing experience.Before finally purchasing from Jake Sweeney Kia I had a strange experience at another dealer. This was as follows:Was interested in a 2024 Kia Sportage SX Prestige and went to a local Kia dealer and they said they can give me a great deal. Well, this dealer had added market adjustment of ~6k plus 2k for something called Kia advantage to the MSRP. So a car with MSRP = 39k was being advertised as a car for ~47k. Their great deal was knocking off the artificial 8k markup and selling at MSRP!!!Seriously? Do people fall for this?So I contacted Jake Sweeney for similar car and what discounts they can offer me. Person I interacted with was Brian Pruitt. We talked on the phone and he came back with an offer way less than MSRP. There were no games, it was honest straightforward deal which took about 20 mins. I accepted the deal and said I will drive over next day (about 90 miles drive for me) for the purchase. Because I was treated fairly I decided I will not work with the other dealer and stick with Brian Pruitt and Jake Sweeney Kia. Purchased the car next day and Brian Pruitt was great to work with. He went over everything, the docs, the tech and was patient, kept us informed. Made sure all our questions were answered. Felt very comfortable working with Brian Pruitt - friendly personality, good customer service.The finance department was also great. Did not push extra add ons and warranties. Sign papers, pay money, done.Overall a great experience and will definitely recommend friends and family to consider Jake Sweeney Kia for any Kia related vehicles.

The best car buying experience I ve ever had across multiple states. I appreciated the sincere customer service, transparency, and efficiency. After deciding on vehicle, I completed my trade in and financing info online. The in-person process only took 90 minutes!! Shannon Lowe was amazingly helpful and honest. To top it off, Mr. Sweeney came out to say thank you and chatted with my kids.

Made a deal over the phone with very little pressure. When I arrived the car was ready along with the paperwork. Fastest new car purchase with a trade I have ever made. Jake Sweeney Kia is a four and a half hour drive from my home, but I I will certainly buy my next car from them. The customer service is second to none, they sell cars the way it should be done.

I bought a used Mazda from here last weekend, and I absolutely love it! I was not expecting to buy a new car but needed one on short notice after totaling my old car. Phil was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and extremely knowledgeable about the features in the car. Randy was extremely helpful, patient and professional dealing with our ordering, financing questions and processing delivery. We are most grateful that there were not any pressures or old school sales manipulations. We are an older couple who have purchased a fair amount of cars in our lifetimes and have seen it all and would have walked out immediately if we sensed anything uncomfortable. The fact that this is the first time we knew going forward that we would return for our next car says it all.

Here I am again after buying my second Telluride from Jake Sweeney Kia of Florence!We drove all the way to Car Town USA in Lexington (2 hours) to look at their inventory. They marked their Telluride up 10,000 over MSRP! Then had the nerve to tell us that people were buying their cars then selling them for a profit so they had to mark them up. Dead serious.Anyway, we had an excellent experience with Jake Sweeney, again. Josh Parker took great care of us. We made a hassle free deal that was fair to both of us including trading in my 2020 Telly. I ve wanted this wolf gray since the day I saw it. I m so happy with my new Telluride and so happy that we were able to purchase it from the dealership we preferred to do business with. Nice experience as I waffled over 3 diff vehicles over two days; Don was very accommodating, summarized the numerous options I was considering (new VS 23 s & financing options that varied by vehicle) nicely. And made what I needed to have happen happen. Drove the new ride home within just a couple hours. Good job Jake Sweeney Kia!
