From Indiana and was heading to Virginia Beach when my car broke down. The staff at the Florence Kentucky store went beyond my expectations. They understand my stress and need to get back on the road. They made me a priority and was so wonderful to work with. Explained everything to me and got me back on the road in no time. I highly recommend CarX in Florence!!

Russ and Matt at Car-X are AWESOME!!! They were professional, helpful and assisted me in getting the best deal in the quickest amount of time! I needed new tires, brakes and rotors. Nice to see there are still honest and helpful auto repair shops! Go to Car-X for all your needs!!

We were here for Christmas and our van sprung a bad antifreeze leak in a split connector piece. I showed up at 8:00 in the morning and got right in. Within 4 hours, everything was done and the manager had given us a financial break regarding our circumstances. The price was reasonable and the work was done well. If I ever have another problem while I'm here, I will definitely come back! Great job!

Went in a few months ago to get my headlights replaced. They informed me that not only did I have the wrong bulbs, but the whole assembly needed to be completely replaced because they were HIDs. The man sent me a listing for the headlights and assured me that they were the correct kind. He was also pretty rude and said something to the effect of, "No offense, but you don't seem to know what you're doing." Well, it turns out that 1) he sent me the wrong listing for the headlights (, and 2) there was nothing wrong with the assembly! They just told me this because they didn't want to take the time to pull off the dust cap. I found the bulbs for $30 on Amazon, took it to Midas across the road, and they replaced the bulbs no problem within an hour. I guess I know who I'm taking my service to from now on.

Rusty was honest and up front. Only fixed what needed fixing and didn't try to up sale me. Even realized he didn't need a part and that providing savings. I appreciate the quick turnaround as well. Thank you!

I have brought my car to this Car X location since moving to KY. I have always been treated well and the service was done promptly.The staff have always been friendly and respectful. Just needed a utv tire broken off one wheel and installed on a new wheel. Boys were very professional and knowledgeable about the utv tire mount as it is a different psi when you mount it as when you actually go on the trail. Beat tire discounters price by 10 bucks too.

I got a tire puncture on I-75 and I was fortunate enough to be able to make to Car-X. They took care of me right away. Checked to see if the tire could be repaired. They were able to repair it and then reinstalled it. They were outstanding in how fast and professional they were and they didn't charge me for the service. That was just amazing. Truely unbelievable these days.

This place was amazing. I was an out of town r on a road trip and had a rear brake line bust and leave my family stranded. They got me in quick and fixed my problem right away. Super friendly and respectful. 100% I d trust this place with my vehicle.

Don t waste your time or money on this place. Went in for leaking coolant, figured it was a hose but come to find out it was a hose plus a water outlet housing which I d had replaced a year and a half prior with another Car-X location. Fine sometimes things break but they decided to word it differently to make it sound like something else entirely and charge me almost $200 more. Anyways left my car there and picked it up the next day, they said everything should be fine and to bring it back if it s not. They gave me a 12,000 mile 12 month warranty. Next day I m driving to work get off the highway and smoke is billowing out of my hood, pull over, pop the hood and sure enough there is coolant on my engine and other hot parts causing smoke. Take it to them after work and they say it just wasn t cleaned up enough from putting the new hose and parts in, they clean it and send me on my way, still smoking a little bit but I chalked it up as residue. Next day running an errand not even 10 minutes from my house and smoke and lots of it, pop hood and my reservoir is clearly spraying coolant on everything. Call them and they say it s not their problem and to take it to the closest Car-X to have it repaired. Local Car-X says it will be X amount of dollars to fix. Pretty curious that you ve had my car for 2 days and something that was not a problem before is now a huge problem. Overnight after driving maybe 25 minutes home, it just cracks. Car-X will never get another dime out of me. I wouldn t send my worst enemy to this shop, they are criminals. If you care about your car don t waste your time here go somewhere that will be honest and actually do the work correctly the first time.

I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment in the afternoon for an oil change and tire rotation. They were courteous and efficient. I will return and would recommend them to friends and family. I would have given them 5 stars if the waiting area had been cleaner.

Overall the service was fine; they have worked on my car before. I have two complaints. One is like too many shops, they tighten both the oil drain plug and the oil filter too tight - one should not have to use a four foot breaker bar to remove either. And I have been working on cars myself for 30 years and never had this problem when i change my own oil. Two is they did not set a paper floor mat down. I had just cleaned my vehicle and my driver floor mat was filthy with grease from shoes and there was a handprint from oil / grease on my dashboard.

Not only great service, but great people too. Tyler went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of even though they were very busy. Saved me a lot of money figuring out the correct issue when I was told otherwise by another shop. Will definitely be back.

I've recently relocated to the area and tried this location on a whim. I have to say that I have received some of the best automotive service at a more than fair price. Their use of appointments truly helps those of us that have to wait, due to having only one car or not having anyone to pick us up. Showed up on time for my appt. and they pull my car in right away and started working. I would also like to mention their professional customer service, because the staff has to be the most kind and polite mechanics I've met. I've been 3 times now for oil and tires, and they are consistent with everything I've mentioned.I returned on 6 May 2023, and everything I experienced before has continued. Still the best customer service and performance.

Needed oil change asap before going out of town. Made appt but was going to be late due to hospital incident. When I called to let them know I wasn t going to make it on time, he told me to come on to shop n he would try to work me in. And they DID! I was so pleased!!

This place is the worse. They're always trying to tell you you have to repair another 2k worth of stuff on your car. Did it to me and I've seen others while I was in there. My brake change turned into a 2k project after they told me I needed to change all these things. They wouldn't even work on it unless you change what they're told you

I've always liked the service and price here however the tech that changed my oil last overtightened my oil filter because it has been hell to take off for an oil change at home. I mean the incredible hulk would have an issue breaking this one loose.

Went in to this car x on 42 today after tire discounters in Walton ky couldn't find anything wrong with it (eye roll). I knew something wasn't right because I had a loud clicking noise when I turned and could feel it in the floorboard as well as in the steering wheel. My alignment was all jacked up and it was pretty scary to drive... I guess tire discounters in Walton just thought I didn't know what I was talking about. Anyways, I went in pretty anxious, upset and tearful. Kyle was FANTASTIC!!!! Absolutely fantastic. I'm a single mom and don't have many people I can trust. Kyle got me in and out in a couple hours and was so reassuring when he saw me get tearful. He assured me they figure out the problem and it would be resolved TODAY. And he kept his word! I didn't even have an appointment!!! He didn't treat me like I was stupid like tire discounters did and listened to all my concerns. This was my first time ever going to car x and its where I'm going from now on when I need help. It made a big difference that he was so caring, compassionate and reassuring! Kyle went above and beyond and obviously the crew was great for fixing it up right away!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!
