Feel pretty taken by Steven. Bought a used car, scheduled breaks service (as we knew they would need service) Rotors, pads and calipers on all 4, ran me 1900, not horrible I don t think, I also mentioned a humming noise at idle. Calls me up to go over things says it s the wheel bearing was howling right as they drove it. Not true, I never heard a single noise, said it s really bad, well no one wants their wheel falling off so I had them do that. Also mention the shocks and tried to hard sell me on those saying they would mess my tires ups it s okay, just the wheel bearing things deems them as untrusted. Also my e break isn t working after breaks done. They said they would have to look at it and see if there would be a charge.

TERRIBLE my appoibtment was for 12 and i dropped the car off early. I was told itd be ready by 1:30 or 2 o clock FOR AN ALIGNMENT. its 1:25 and they just now pulled my car in to tell me 45 more minutes. NEVER AGAIN

This has now turned into AAA services. Do not go here. They are misinformed and do not make sure the job is completely done before sending you on your way. I had to get calipers and break pads changed and they didn t even tighten the bolts all the way leading to my caliper almost sliding off my rotor completely! I also left the place with bolts rolling around on my windshield when I was driving around on the highway!! Not only did they do a poor job, but they misinformed me by telling me that the smoke coming out of my car was because the last place put the wrong oil in (even though I get the same oil every time). They tried to tell me I need full synthetic which is not true. The last place just overfilled my oil hence the smoking. I called this place after getting my car back because I could tell something was wrong with the brakes still and they told me it was all fine and dismissed my genuine concerns. In reality my front brakes weren t even working because they didn t tighten the bolts all the way. They could ve caused damage to my car or a possible accident because of negligence. DO NOT GO HERE.

Glenway has amazing service and techs! I have had a great experience every time I have taken my car to be serviced. I have even had a few times where the final price was less than the initially quoted estimate! I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my car.

My husband took our truck there yesterday for an oil change and to have the brakes checked out. They were able to get the truck back in today for new rotors and pads and finished the work in less than 2 hours. Their service is always reliable. We don't take our vehicles anywhere else than Glenway Auto Center.

I seriously can't express enough the trust I have with this shop. They are always honest and reasonably priced. Their work is awesome and they stand behind it. We take all of our cars here and are very satisfied customers. Always pleasant to work with and super fast! Well done guys!!!

I have taken all of my vehicles to Glenway for a few years now--my entire family does so as well. Today, I picked up my car after they spent many tireless hours with countless people involved to ensure that my car's mystery starting problem was solved. Nick and Phil kept me informed through out the entire process making a stressful situation uncomplicated and simple with no surprises. Thank you so much to the entire team at Glenway for always going above and beyond in your service and most importantly taking great care of your customers. I will NEVER go anywhere else for my car's needs!

Fantastic, Honest, Quality service from the Glenway Auto Centers. A true family run business. Found them in a pinch when no other shop could help quickly. Clearly there is pride in what they do as their waiting rooms AND bays are always spotless. We have used them mulitple times for our business and personal vehicles. Service and work was so fantastic I now use them for everything from oil changes, tires, body work, and mechanical issues. I recommend Glenway to anyone and everyone.

We got off our flight at CVG (delayed 3 times) and our car would not start. After having the airport police jump us twice we managed to make it to Glenway auto center to have them take a look at it. It was the closest place and we live 1.5 hours away. They could have not been more nice. I think they could tell how stressed out my husband and I were, with 2 kids in the freezing dead of winter. They replaced our battery free of charge within 10 minutes. I honestly almost started to cry. It was the the kindest thing anyone has done for us in a long time.Service: Battery

Way over priced. AND dishonest. They said we needed new break pads & rotors. They quoted too much, so I just bought the parts myself to have a friend install. Turns out I DID NOT NEED break pads replaced or new rotors. My rotors were as smooth as can be, and brake pads had plenty of life on them. Not only that, but they charged $93 just for an oil change and replacing one headlight. And they said we should spend $375 on a tune up that only included replacing the coil boots and spark plugs. I just replaced the spark plugs last year... and the boots are fine! These guys just want to take your money.

We were out of town with a car emergency and Glenview fixed it less than two hours. They were friendly, honest, and explained what was happening. They even took out the parts to show us what was going on. They had a clean and comfortable place for us to wait while it got fixed.

I stopped in to Hammond's Service Center because with two annoying service lights on, in addition to needing an oil change and brakes. They were nice, took great care of me, and there was no sticker shock when the bill came. I trust them and will go back next time I have an issue with my car.

I want to thank nick and his crew for the honesty he provided me and their attention to detail. Stopped in to get a brake job done on my truck and ended up having bad axle seals. I called Greg early Saturday morning on a holiday weekend and explained to him my car trouble and that I am from out of town. He worked with and had my car fixed in a few hours on a Saturday. Really really really appreciated his willingness to do so and will recommend Hammond Service Center to all my friends and family in the area. Thank you so much Greg and your staff.

Moved down here and didn't have any mechanic lined up so I looked at reviews of local mechanics and saw this was a good place. I had gotten a quote from another local place for $440 for the work needing done, but Hammond's quoted me $221 and stuck with the quote after the work was done with no surprises.Friendly, honest, and fair.

This place was not impressed. Instead of offering assistance they offer inflated prices for members. Pass it up go to a brand name if you want any real assistance.

Genuine nice guys. We were driving our VW atlas enroute to smoky mountains and had an orange engine light. We checked the gas cap and was fine .. but worried since we have a long trip ahead. The nearby VW Kerry flatly refused to acknowledge.. however here... they responded politely .. did a courtesy check of the obd .. and said we are good to go ! Very rarely we come across such genuine nice service people ! Thank you guys !

They replaced all the rusty brake lines/fuel on my car for half the price every other place I called wanted including the dealership. When I asked if they could use Nickel Copper brake lines if I provided them they told me that's all they use anyway. All the other shops were using steel lines which will not last forever, NiCopp is corrosion proof so it's a permanent fix. I had some other work done at the same time, by the time I picked the car up my total was even less than quoted! Many indicators of a quality shop, will use again the future for anything I can't do myself.

Had front end work done. Front end vibrates when driving took it back they said there were more parts than needed fixed 750 more dollars total of $3,000 spent still have the same problem and they left my negative battery cable off on my second battery

NOT SATISFIED, I initially took the car there to get up to snuff for long trip back in forth to a clinical. They said it needed fluids, a battery and they fixed the brackets holding the spare tire. I had to take the car back up there now they say it needs a sensor which myself and my son put on last spring and a tune up. They didn't quote me a price on the battery cables which I requested, I had to remind them. Now if I am bringing my car to a mechanic and I say I need the car to last, don't you think engine stuff takes priority over brackets holding a tire? In my opinion if your a women your going to get shammed, shame on them a women I believe owns it. This experience just reinforces this to me WORK ON YOUR CAR YOURSELF. Otter BS this place is.

I would confidently send anyone to Hammonds. Good folks, good work, good prices. They're exceedingly honest and do a wonderful job of explaining what's wrong - more than once the less expensive option was the right one. I've had everything from an oil change to clutch replacement done here and will continue to rely on them. A fair, honest, skilled mechanic is hard to find and I feel lucky to have found Hammonds.

We were in town on vacation when the engine on our car wasn't sounding too good. Called one garage, but they couldn't even look at it for 5 days. Nick took it right in and diagnosed the problem. He quoted me a price to repair. After they fixed the major engine problem, the Electronic control module went bad (I had suspected my ECM was going bad before this ever happened, so I wasn't surprised.) Nick knew we were on a time table and spent additional nights at the hotel because of the repairs, so he kept to the original quote, even though there were additional repairs required. Boy! What a life saver! My only regret is that I am not from the area, because he would definitely get all my auto repair work! 1st class!!

I called this morning to see if they could fit me in to take a look at my car. On short notice, with a full schedule and a full garage, i was expecting that getting it looked at might take a while, and i had to be at work at 11am today. I'm home now (it's only 9:30 and i have no idea what to do for the next hour), and they didn't charge me a dime to tell me what the problem was (they didn't need to really do much to diagnose it). I could tell when he was wrapping up his explanation that he wasn't going to charge me so i pulled out my wallet and asked, just to be sure, and he just said "merry Christmas." (It's September.) I'm pretty sure this is the shop i've been searching for.

Horrible experience took my car out it ran fine and started it fine once you turned it off you could not turn it back on for a while they called me the next day with the diagnostics and said it wasn t the starter and it wasn t the alternator it was the battery which had a bad cell they replace the battery and it would not start!!!!so obviously their diagnostic was wrong they refused to refund me the diagnostic fee They said that I should replace the starter next I did not do that since they said it was fine the first time I wasn t just going to keep paying for parts to find out what the problem was That s what a diagnostic is forI would ve been happy to split the diagnostic fee with them but they wouldn t even do thatPretty bad way of doing business you offer a diagnostic which isn t really a diagnosticService: General repairs & maintenance

This company is awesome. Used them for a few years and will continue to do so. Heard about them on yelp. I refer all family and friends to them. I like that they tell you if serious\dangerous repairs are needed and to wait on the small stuff. Wont see that often. +1And they are very fair on price

Awesome customer service and extremely quick. My suv was at ky auto service for 5 days and they were clueless. Glenway had it out and ready in less than 24hrs. Unable express how pleased I am. Thanks guys.
