they replaced a front windshield at the dealership in elizabeth town in march 2023. it was not done correctly.. by october we started calling to have it fixed by them correctly since they were paid. they planned to come to the owners home for 5 straight months to fix their mistake. they failed multiple appointments: stating we need to drive 2 hours there and back for them to fix their mistake on our time and gas.when i called back they decided on 2/16/24 that they were big going to fix it. the owners excuse is always Kelly never comes into work and his only helper is always down in his back and stubborn. i suggested he hire more dependable people and honor his work and he was simply unwilling. i have all of our conversations recorded. Swope nissan and the swope dealers will not use them again. if i could give zero stars i would. i'm reporting to better business bureau and attorney general . they are horrible . don't waste your time.

In the middle of november I contacted merideth and sons glass about installing a new windshield seal on my 76' ford truck that has the wide chrome trim. They told me they would get back to me, but we had to contact them a couple more times before they finally gave me a labor price, but told me their vendor couldn't get the seal that I would need to purchase it myself and they recommended someone, but I decided to order from LMC truck cause they are well known, have a lot of parts for older trucks and I have bought from them in the past. Got my seal and called back and scheduled a date for the install. I told them I couldn't get a ride that I would have to wait while it was being done and they said no problem. I took it in late november 2023 and after about four hours they couldn't get the chrome trim piece put in and said it seemed my seal was to stiff that they would install the windshield as is and they would order me another seal from the guy they recommended, which I couldn't understand why they didn't just do that the first time. Keep in mind that it's a 35-40 minute drive each way for me, I kinda live in the hills. They got the other seal and scheduled me for I believe 12/6/2023. On that morning I drove all the way there only to be told his help didn't show up and the other helper was out sick and that he tried to call me, but where I live my phone don't always work and when his missed call showed up later the timing was after I was already on my way there anyways which he had been told the first time how far my drive was so he said he would make it right and reimburse me gas or something. Well I waited and finally got another date scheduled for 12/26/2023. Me and the wife went that day cause she was off work and we sat there for 8 hours and they got the trim in somewhat this time, but messed it all up trying to install the windshield and both times left black sealer in little spots all over the outside of the truck and a couple spots in the seat. He finally said they would have to either install a different gasket with the fake little chrome strip or a solid black one and the truck isn't mint, but has only 53,000 original miles and I'm trying to keep it original so I told him I would think about it. I called him back the next day and agreed to the solid black and figured later down the road I could maybe get the original put in, but needed it done so I could use the truck and it not leak and he said he could get the seal in a day or two. Here it is march the 2nd 2024 and I have yet to get a call back. I have since purchased a new seal and gonna try and find someone else to install it or try and do it with the help of my kids hopefully. I DO NOT RECOMMEND them at all. It seems they are unorganized from what we put up with and heard while we were there and if they couldn't do the job they should have never agreed to take it on.

Great shop, great people, fast . My sunroof busted they ordered the glass next day it was in , dropped car off and in 2 hours my car was done . Beautiful job done . Will use them if ever need to again . Oh did I say fair price also.

They installed a windshield in my class A motor home. Kelly in the office is amazing. Having to deal with my very difficult insurance company ( Indiana Farm Bureau and safe lite) The guys in the shop are amazing. I will highly recommend Meridith and sons for all of your windshields and glass needs. As far as we are concerned they are family now.Service: Glass installation

These are people who care. First experience was at Christmas when granddaughters gift had a broken was custom cut to fit. Then with the purchase of an antique table I needed a glass cover to protect the top it was cut at a very reasonable price and done very quickly. I will definitely go back to them for any further needs that may arise.

Great customer service. Was able to help with my windshield trim coming off. Also with making 2 screens for my home. Very reasonable priced. A real family type environment. Will definitely come back.

I wanted to use local so called this shop. Needed a window glass unit replaced in my home. Took my calling them back three times to get estimate. Said they would call with estimates. Had to call them a week later to get it, told them to go ahead and waited for call to schedule install. Called them back a month later, oh yes glass came in but was broken they had to reorder. Waited another month, had to call them again, yes it was there, scheduled, installed. Nice and professional workers. Then they found mark in window didn t like, so ordered another unit. Waited six weeks had to call them, yes it was there did I want to schedule replacement install! Replacement went well, asked workers while they were there about getting screens fixed or replaced, they said they thought it would cost around 8-10$ each. Sent screens with them to shop with understanding someone would call with definite price. Had to call them to see about estimate! Said it was $177.00!!!! That worked out to about $29.00 per screen, said no way would be in to pick up them up. Went right in and the guy informs me that they had already done the work but go ahead and take them and be glad that I was getting them for free as that is what I wanted in the first place! Rude, untrue and the last straw! I will never go back and will never let anyone I know use them either!!!

If you have issues with you vehicle as far as windshields, moon/sun roofs, water leaking into your vehicle.....these are your go to guys. Extremely efficient, I was very impressed as far as the attention to detail displayed in finding and correcting my problem. I highly recommend, and would utilize their services before taking my vehicle to a dealership.

Can t even begin to say thank you enough. We were driving down the highway trying to make it to NC and a semi in front of us had ice and snow fall off the top and badly damaged our windshield to the point it wasn t visible to drive and it looked quite dangerous. We called about twenty places between h-town, bowling green and south of Kentucky and everyone was booked up until next week, and no one could deliver a windshield due to the weather. In less than 12 hours, this business not only found us the windshield, but it was delivered during the winter storm advisory. These guys are some of the nicest people we have ever met and it was definitely an emergency type of situation. They handled everything so fast, efficiently, kindly and cared. We cannot say thank you enough for the hospitality and the efficiency, you saved us hundreds of dollars and helped us finish our drive to enjoy our vacation with less stress and worry. Seems like they charge you what they think they can get out of you. Doesn't seem to be set prices. Let me stand corrected I was quoted one price, had work done and was given a higher price, they did go back to lower price after I said something. Stand up business. I would recommend. Very friendly people. Like the fact of family run business

I called Meredith and Sons once a week for 3 months trying to get someone out to our home to replace a broken window. The receptionist told me every time that I called that someone would be to our house within the week and she would check on the status and call us back. Not only did we never receive a call back but no one ever came to replace the window. My 61-year-old father who has COPD ended up coming over and replacing the window for us as a last resort. Very unprofessional.

We use these guys for glass and mirror jobs often. They do a fantastic job in a timely manor and at a price that is hard to beat. We recently had them make some 1/2" thick frosted glass in very complex patterns for a commercial project. They came out great.

Had an estimate from another place for over $350. Went to Meredith & son, cause of problem was entirely different and they charged me like $45. to fix. Excellent job, friendly people, highly reccomend

I called and was told I would receive a call back, went in the next day because I did not receive a call back. I still dropped off my window was told 7-10 days and it would be ready. It took longer than that but I got a call 4 days prior to being ready that I could pick it up went there and it wasn't ready. On the day I picked it up they didn't even have it in the window frame so I had to wait 20 minutes to get my window... The workers are nice but needless to say they are not organized.

The people are friendly and professional. They did a fantastic job on replacing the windshield on my truck. It was too difficult for Safelite to tackle but Meredith's did it!

This people really make this business great! Excellent workmanship whether a replaced vehicle headliner or windows, or even home window glass repair - I've never been disappointed, and fairly priced.

Don't expect to receive a call when they are done, will not happen. Shoddy work and the counter person doesn't really know or understand what is requested, but will certainly not own to making a mistake.I generally try to shop local owned, but there are too many options elsewhere to spend anymore money at this business.

I took my car here for a sunroof repair - the sunroof was stuck in the tilt open position. With that being said, I dropped my car off at lunch time and it was ready for me when I got off of work the same day.I took my car to the dealership first to see if they could fix it, but they wanted $80 just to diagnose the problem. I barely paid half of that at Meredith & Son Glass for the diagnosis and repair.My only complaint is that the work was performed without much consideration of the interior of my car. I drive an Infiniti G35x, so I take pride in the interior of my car. The interior area above my head (so by the dome lights and sunroof switch) was stained with grease/oil from the workers' hands - from the driver's side all the way over to the passenger side.

We were not pleased with the service that we received as the glass had been replaced however the door frame itself was broken and they failed to repair it. The glass fell out of the door nearly hitting our 6 year old sons' toes. Their response was that "it was cheap metal" We had to repair the door ourselves. Unsatisfactory service. Had we checked their reviews prior, we would have chosen a different company for repair.

Since they installed the doors and windows we've had issues and asked that they be fixed. It has been over a year and we are still waiting now they just hang up on us when we call.
