I took my ford escape in to this location on Monday 4/8/2024. My latch on the back of the car stopped working and I needed it fixed. They informed me that there was a recall on a part on my car. They said while they do that, they will do the recall. No big deal. They call me on the same day (Monday) letting me know that they need to order a part for the hatch and that my coolant was low. They wanted to charge me a $150 to run a diagnostic. I said no. We had to wait until Tuesday for the part to come in. We didn t get a call from them at all to tell us when the car would be fixed. Donna or Diana, didn t reach out until 9 minutes Before closed to reach out to us. I couldn t even get my car back. She had informed me that my front window magically don t roll down. After doing some research and talking a family member that is a mechanic. They had to mess with my door in order to fix the latch and it could have been easily unplugged. Come Wednesday, still no call. I called them and they kept changing there story and interrupting me when I tried to explain to them that they will need to fix it. Terrible customer service. If you want a simple thing fixed, don t take it here.

Amazing experience. From my sales person Tyler to the General Manager Randy Blevins it was truly a refreshing experience. Buying a car can be worse than buying a house but this experience was seamless and easy.I feel I received a great deal and didn t have to do the painful time consuming back and forth.I would drive hours to work with this team again. It was unlike anywhere I ve purchased before.

Personally love my truck. Leased it in Ohio before moving down here. Went ahead and purchased it down here at Swope. Transaction went smooth and fast.The service center however, is terrible. Customer service is not there at all. Service technicians must not be properly trained either. I took my truck there for service, which I struggle through usually just to keep all the shop work done in one place, simple oil change and tire rotation. Well after about 90 minutes I see they are done and go to pay. Was informed that the technician could not accomplish the tire rotation because the factory installed lug nut could not come off. After agreeing to purchase new lug nuts they were able to finish. 2 hours 15 minutes after I dropped it off they finally finished. To top it off they left me the mangled lug nuts in my drink holder. Just terrible all around.

Took my perfectly running truck in to fix my back up sensors. An hour later they asked if they could do the 100k mile tune up. I said sure. Picked up the truck 5 hrs later and they said they didn't have time to diagnose the back up sensor issue. Paid the $1900. Next day the truck developed a misfire in cylinder #3. Took it back two days later and they had the truck for 4 hrs. Replaced one coil for $142 and still didn't have time to check the backup sensor. Truck developed a misfire in cylinder #3 again the next day. Keep in mind, the truck ran fine when I first dropped it off. Now, I'm $2k and two trips to E-town into this and truck runs horribly and back up sensors still haven't been checked out. I replaced the coils myself and found spark plug in cylinder #3 cracked. Changed it myself in ten minutes and truck is running great. I can't believe a certified mechanic created this problem AND failed to fix it on second trip in.

I m so glad I ended up not purchasing another Ford especially from this dealership. I don t know what their problem is with checking fluids or anything else when you bring it in for service especially when you have a golden eagle warranty. I took it in and I expressly told them that I thought it needed coolant because of a couple of issues what did they do not check anything or replace anything and only check the oil and give it back to me. Shadiest dealership I ve ever been to.UPDATE!!! It appears there s a leak in one of the hoses I had specifically asked the dealership when I was in there for my oil change to check the coolant and this issue they never did and now I have to pay out of pocket for it because my car just went out of warranty after I had it serviced. They could ve taken care of this issue while my car was still under my golden eagle plan that they ignored it makes me wonder if they re actually changing the oil when I take it in I m going to take it someplace else and have it looked over completely

My wife and I where just driving by Bob Swope car lot with no intensions of buying a new car. We had been in the area looking at used cars. Marcus put us in a new Ford Explorer ST in about 1hr with a much lower interest rate almost 6 points less than a used car. We left feeling appreciated and satisfied with our experience. I will definitely be a returning customer.

An estimated one hour diagnostic took three hours and the tech couldn t smell the exhaust fumes inside the car. I was charged $162.86 after a $140 quote over the phone. The service writer told me the delay was due to a new system which is total $)&?!@/$. I won t be back for another vehicle purchase or service.

Only use Bob Swope for service if nothing else is available.Truck was returned not fully assembled or repaired. Took 8 weeks in shop and I ate the cost of a tow. Got great lip service with little actual service. They did work with me to remove the cost of a battery that was replaced due to a miscommunication(which was appreciated) but I basically could not use my truck for two and a half months. Understaffed but priced fair for a dealer.Had my truck towed here for a transmission rebuild. The initial experience was good, their only transmission technician came and spoke with me. They gave me a 3-4 week turn around time, due to them only having one transmission technician.I received the quote for both a replacement and a rebuild. I opted for the rebuild. I received my truck back about 4 weeks later.2 weeks after that I was hearing some grinding sounds. My driveshaft center support was being held up by one bolt, which was working it s way out. And the rear main seal was leaking(weeping) I called them, they told me to have it towed (at my expense) in and if they caused the problem they would fix it and reimburse me for the tow.They told me it would be 4-6 weeks for them to fix their initial job, because other people were in front of me. I said it was unacceptable and I should be done before anyone because this is basically an extension of my original appointment. They reluctantly seemed to agree, and told me I would be the next job in line.The technician was out for a few days, then after a week and a half they still had not looked at my truck. I went in person to speak with them and they said I was still next in line. This continued for 4 weeks me going in and talking to them for an update weekly, basically seems like they gave me lip service to keep me quiet and went on with their business, as those would be paying customers, mine was due to poor QC and workmanship(and free).

Here is the story. Ordered a Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid from Justin in October of 2021. Of course the build date kept getting kicked down the road. I honestly forgot about it until December 2022. My truck has a new build date but would be a 2023 model. Cool let me know when it gets close. Jan 2023 I signed off on relinquishing my rights to the Maverick when it came in. Was going to buy something else. Today (2.17.23) Justin text me and said that it just arrived and gave me first dibs. Swope could have put it on the lot with a substantial market adjustment , but they didn t. They sold me the Maverick at about the same price as I ordered it in 2021. Kudos to Justin and Swope at gaining a lifetime customer. Paperwork done today and picking the Maverick up tomorrow. Thank you all at Swope.

I recently purchased my second new F150 from Bob Swope Ford, Marcus Wethington was the representative I spoke to first as I had many questions and a shortage of time. This man is the direct reason I drove off of the lot same day very happy with my purchase.If it werent for Marcus I would have been at several dealerships all day, he had all the information I needed from the OTHER dealerships in comparison to what he had to offer at Bob Swope.There was no hassle, no bull, no gimmicks, or annoyance. This experience was by far the most comfortable I have ever been purchasing a vehicle, Marcus wasnt needy or pushy, he simply wanted to help me out and he absolutely did.My next vehicle I plan to purchase from Marcus, hopefully Bob Swope will keep him around. I took my Ford Fusion in to have one of my windows checked out. The service staff were all friendly and professional. They fit me in on a busy Saturday to check on my concern. I recommend Bob Swope Ford as a trustworthy and honest place to take your vehicle.

I truly have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Bob Swope. My friend and I were driving home to Wisconsin from a trip to Nashville and Mammoth Cave when my Ford started lurching and the check engine light came on an issue we thought was resolved when I was serviced at my home dealer. Bob Swope was the nearest Ford dealer, and they took such incredible care of us. They were quick to make sure we got a diagnostic test after we told them we were travelers. They then went above and beyond and actually did the repair necessary for my car to help get us on our way.Every person we interacted with was so kind and sincere. Debbie was the main individual to help us, and she was outstanding (plus her supervisor whose name I've since forgotten). Since we were waiting for awhile, she helped us get a ride from the shuttle driver, Gary, to a nearby restaurant so we could get something to eat. He was equally pleasant and we greatly enjoyed our conversation with him. Less than 5 hours later, we were back on the road and safely finished our 7.5 hour drive.As a young woman, this was the most respected and comfortable I have felt when getting work done on my car. While most people reading this review likely live locally, I wanted to share this story so you know you are working with such friendly professionals. Thank you Bob Swope for helping us in this scary situation. I only wish you were closer!

Horrible place, took 6 months waiting on a back ordered part for them to finally realize they needed to just replace my transmission when obviously it was fully destroyed from the lack of them not putting any fluid in it from the rebuild previously. On top of that instead of replacing my entire shifter assembly they just decided it was a great idea to zip tie everything together that eventually broke not even a day later.Let the management know what happened and was called a liar that they know they didn t do it and they know what their doing (obviously not) and proceeded to kick me out and threatened to call the police after I demanded it being fixed when I had physical and photographic proof considering my car was stuck there for 6-7 MONTHS. Took my car to Louisville and they fixed everything without question in a day. Never again will I even look at a vehicle here.ALSO NO THANKS I HAD ENOUGH COMMUNICATION WITH THE MANAGERS AND SERVICE MANAGERS FOR A LIFETIME. Last time in contact with this place I got threatened that they were calling the cops and informed me I didn t know what i am talking about and they ve been doing it far longer then I have service wise (which is incorrect because I wouldn t be that incompetent to not repair something and just zip tie a moving mechanism) and I needed to leave after calling me a liar, uneducated apparently and cocky. That seems like some zip ties to me 2016 Ford Fiesta ST with 25k miles and 2 transmissions done by this dealer because obviously the first time wasn t a smart installation.

Update....(after sale)After purchasing our vehicle, our insurance company informed us there were 2 open major recalls.When i reached out to my salesman, he informed me in a text, it was my responsibility and i would have to do it all.Side note, I had asked regarding this very issue, prior to sale, and they informed me no it was another model.At this time, I have had no other calls if concern or follow up from the sales associate or management.At sale review....Outstanding service!Knowledgable staff, and not pushy to make the quick sale. Took time to explain and go over every detail!Ask for Marcus and you won't be disappointed!

Took my ford flex into Ford to be fixed because it had electrical issues. They had my car for 4 months, 2 months untouched because their mechanics "couldn't find the problem". 4 months, 5 parts and $5000 dollars later I finally got my car back. And to say it was a bad experience would be an understatement. It was one excuse after another as to why they weren't repairing it. "They don't have enough mechanics to keep it in the shop". "They can't find the problem". "They are waiting on parts". "Someone is coming from out of state to look at it bc they have tried everything". BTW the "out of state guy" never came. We would call for an update and would get the F U button when they put us through to service department. When we did get ahold of someone they would tell us they would call us back with an update and never call. I got Diane's personal phone number because nobody would ever answer and she wasn't any better. At one point, we heard them say "I wish he would stop calling" before hanging up the phone. I had to go up to the facility multiple times to get updates or answers. After 4 months and nobody even working on our vehicle half that time, we finally got fed up and got in touch with the General manager, he pushed to make sure it was done. After the general manager was envolved, he managed to get them to fix it the next day. The service department refused to give us his number so we had to keep calling until one of the salesman sent us to the GM. And even after getting my vehicle back, they put 44,000 more miles on the speedometer than it had to begin with, which is one of the many parts they replaced to try and fix it.

Mobile service came to place of work to perform a recall repair. They scheduled, then texted me a couple of times to remind and confirm. Very easy and pleasant experience. Always happy with Bob Swope Ford!

Was leaving work. And all of a sudden my car started smoking. I panicked and was like I can t lose this car. Drove straight to Swope at 5 PM when they closed. A mechanic there named Bobby came out and said go upstairs and get a ticket before I diagnose the situation. I was sweating, met the service director who was amazing as well. I was serviced and the team found an error from my last service and covered it under warranty. Use dealers not shade tree mechanics. $400 service for $0 these guys are honest!

They were very honest, answered every question, gave options, and explained everything. Made buying my new Ford Bronco Sport so fun, easy, and stress free! She stopped what she was doing to check on the service for me, approve my ticket for repair and made sure I had an answer before I left. I took my van on for rotate and balance with concerns of berrings- they over inflated my tires not looking at the tire rwting, blew a tore on test drive, charged me for towing and new tire wirhout the option of using the spare that wS on the vehicle. I never did get the balance and rotate. The bill was over 400.00 and they said it was the accelerator that was the original issue. So im stuck with paying for their i competance. I will never return for service

Thrilled with the excellent service received today. Stopped in to discuss an issue with our 2020 Escape battery. Spoke with Mark Rattliff, the Parts and Service mgr. He understood our concerns and replaced the battery with an upgraded one, quickly and at a great price. Can t thank you enough! Will be back when it s time to buy our next Ford.
