Andy is a knowledgeable professional that cares about your vehicle and goes above and beyond to satisfy his customer's needs. Electronic or Mechanical repairs done right the first time! Called earlier today. Ask for pricing for some work done to my truck. They said that they don't do pricing over the phone Lady on the phone seemed all right but was unable to help me out overall two star rating

Excellent communication, sevice, and decent price. I'm from out of town. Injuries stopped me from doing my repairs myself. I'm here helping a buddy repair his home. Had all parts and fluids for replacement of radiator, thermistat, temperature sensor, transmission cooler, and oil change. Highly recommend these folk!

Great Job !!!! Solved a problem with a warning light I had been dealing with for a year. Another shop took me for almost $2000 and 3 attempts to resolve the issue but Andy fixed in a few hours...Thanks Andy !!!!

I will be a regular customer here and advise others to go here, too. I have a 2002 Durango that had a bad cv axle, but I didn't know it was actually broken. They got to it at the appointment time and called me shortly after with a cost to repair. A&M actually charged $200 less for the part than another shop priced me for it. Work was done in a reasonable time and called me when completed.

Saw all the good reviews on google when I was searching for a reputable mechanic in the area and thought I would give them a try. All the reviews are dead on. After my first few experiences I ve had with them, I won t go anywhere else. Andy is a super nice guy and straight forward. Never made me feel uncomfortable or like he was trying to get one over on me. Explains everything in detail and is always straight forward. Definitely not your typical mechanic shop. Service is the best around that I ve found.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Our heroes! My wife was headed down 65 trying to get to her father's funeral in Nashville. The van overheated as she was getting off at the Elizabethtown exit. We had it towed to A&M, and she jumped in a rental car to make it the rest of the way. A&M staff was extremely generous and compassionate to our situation. A little late on posting my review but I wanted to make sure I left one! I m in my 30 s and for the first time ever, I had to seek out someone to work on my car (my dad has always taken my cars in). Being a female and pretty dumb when it comes to the mechanics of vehicles, I was nervous of being taken advantage of. I chose A&M due to the reviews and I m so glad I did. They fixed the problem I originally had taken it in for but another problem (not a cause from them) arose after getting it back but Andy was so kind and honest from the jump. Him and his crew took care of everything for me and I m so glad to have my car back. You guys were great, really! When need be, I ll be returning. Thanks guys!

Taking my car to A&M has been the best mechanic experience since I ve owned a vehicle (to be honest, only about a few months). But since I ve owned my vehicle there have been a number of unexpected and difficult issues like needing my transmission replaced and then a mysterious electrical issue.When the electrical issue first started I took the car to a different mechanic who told me there was no telling how many labor hours it would take for their guy to find the parasitic energy leak (which kept killing my battery). They then had it for a week, charged me ~700 dollars (which we then argued down to 300) and the problem was NOT fixed. I discussed it with about three other mechanics who all told me that for a car that keeps dying, the first thing I should do is buy a new battery (even though I had JUST bought one a few months beforehand).I m so glad that I did not splurge on that new battery and that I was directed to A&M. They were actually referred to me by a different mechanic, which should tell you how good they are!I was first impressed by how upfront they were with their costs. They guaranteed me that they could find the draw on my battery in 2 hours or less (they did) and then they fixed the problem in the short term for free. In the long term they gave me honest pricing which was so much better than I ever expected.I d also had some bad experiences with mechanics who did not take time explaining things to me, either because they were bad at communicating or because I m a young woman and they assumed I didn t care. Andy took care of my car and made sure I understood everything before and after he looked at it.I cannot say enough good things about their service. I highly recommend. It s now been about two weeks and my car has not died a single time, whereas before my appointment at A&M it was dying multiple times in a day. When I decide to have the problem fixed in the long term, I will absolutely be returning to their shop.

I can't say enough about these people. Always friendly and eager to help you out. Prices are great compared to other local shops, and they have curated some of the best mechanical talent in the area. I've used them for a/c repair numerous times with unthinkable turnaround times, as well as using them for some special equipment that I don't keep at my own shop.

I have finally found a shop where I can trust the mechanics and depend on their expertise to guide my decision honestly and professionally. Cody absolutely hands down knows his business and is straight forward yet has patience to answer all questions.After two failed attempts taking my vehicle to other local mechanics, I had become very apprehensive of car repairs.I contacted A&M and conveniently had an appointment scheduled within a few days. I was able to pick up car the following day and it hasn't run this well in years. I now have a shop I can trust while strongly recommending their services to all family and friends. A&M's high standards of fair pricing (with explanation of services), completed repairs that I can trust, and ease of service makes A&M my trusted mechanics and I highly recommend their services.

took my 2002 ford F 150 for full tuneup,after they replaced a new ordered faulty part, my TRUCK runs better than any new 2023 ford ( DAMIT BOY!), Go there ,they do it right(.)

Our truck broke down 2 hours from home on our way to a camping trip. This shop got us in close to closing time. They stayed late the next night and were able to get our truck back to us before our weekend trip was over. I was fortunate to have car trouble on this side of town. took my car in because I know Andy & his crew are top notch. the car was taken in, the problem was figured out, and an estimate was given. as soon as the parts could be located, they went to work on my car. it was done a bit sooner than promised, and the final charges were less than the original estimate! it is hard to know where to take your car in today's world, but this is one place that I know will give me great, honest service at a reasonable price! thanks so much!

As with any issue in life; I want someone whom I can trust, A&M Automotive Solutions is Trustworthy! I've have several repairs made along with a simple oil change. Called multiple shops before i found these guys to work on my 94 volvo, they did a great job and were honest when my car had a small problem, fixed it without adding unnecessary parts to the bill and even performed a compression test while my plugs were out which could cost up to $150 on its own. Very reasonably priced labor and great service. Dont make the mistake of taking your car anywhere else

Excellent, definitely & HIGHLY recommend!!Andy & his crew found the problem when no one else could!!His specialized diagnostics computer led him right to the completely broken fuel pressure sensor on top of the gas tank. Wish I'd gone back here first! It's worth the drive!!Thank you, Everyone!!

A & M Automotive's customer service is hands down top notch. The problem and solution are thoroughly explained in terms I understand. They go above and beyond when diagnosing the problem. They're fair and honest. I totally trust these guys. They're not going to make up problems or tell you something's not working when it is. Both my mom and I have had work done, more than once, without being charged. I've been back and will continue to go back. I 100% recommend this shop for any and all car repairs/service.

Please do yourself a favor and do not take your car anywhere else. Last year my wife and I spent over $800 so that other mechanics in town, including John Ray and Sons, could guess at what the problem was. It wasn't until we took it to A&M that we learned the issue had been the head gasket the entire time. We have used them ever since because they are thorough, knowledgeable, and (most importantly) honest. They have had plenty of opportunities to "rip us off" and never have. In fact, they have gone out of their way to save us money, even if we don't choose to have a car fixed (as was the case with the head gasket). We won't buy a car until we have taken it here first to have it inspected. Hopefully this review helps people avoid going through what we did.

I was making my way to Madisonville from Lexington when my car decided to start making this horribly loud sound and vibrating when accelerating, to the point where it felt if I drove it anymore it would potentially cause more damage and be dangerous. It was just my luck that I was stuck directly between home and my destination, which happened to be Elizabethtown. Well, it turns out it WAS actually just my luck as I was only about 4 minutes (10+ with how the car was driving) to this shop.I got there right when they opened and they had started the inspection on the car within 30 minutes. Very shortly after that, Chris (I think) informed me that my exhaust pipe was rusted in a small section and they were going to check out a couple other things as my car had also decided to not start for a minute earlier in the day. Turns out my alternator was bad and needed replacing. Decided to go ahead with the repair. I got there at 8AM, car was looked at by 8:30AM, was fully informed of both issues by 9, and was out the door at 11:30.So far, the car is running better now than when I first bought it a month ago (under the assumption there were no issues) - super smooth on acceleration, no loud noises, etc. What I really appreciated outside of that is how upfront and 'no bs' Chris (?) is. He laid everything out for me and when I had questions, I could tell he wasn't biased in one way or another and wasn't trying to persuade me in favor of getting the repair done then/there. He just laid down his personal opinion from experience and let me choose.It's a very laid back atmosphere while still being professional and knowledgeable, which made me feel better about the situation. They were also incredibly flexible in terms of if you need to leave, picking up, etc. Overall if I ever end up getting stranded in E-Town again, I will definitely go back to them and recommend them to anyone in the area or who is passing through.Oh! I almost forgot - they work on VWs, which I was honestly surprised/happy about. I had been referred to VW or a foreign shop when going to previous repair places when I had other issues with the car so I was worried that may happen here. Nope!

I wouldn't let any other Automotive Technician work on my Vehicle! I know I am given reasonable prices on the work, as well as, information on other issues found with my Vehicle. I am promptly called and given estimates. When I am told my vehicle has other issues, I get them repaired because I know and trust A & M ! I know when I drive away, my Vehicle is safe and sound to drive! If Quality and Integrity matters to you, Go to A & M Automotive Solutions!

Quality work, honest and friendly staff! You'll never feel like they are trying to "upsell" when talking to them, nothing is done without your explicit consent so there are no surprises when it's time to pay the bill! Definitely recommend to anyone who needs work done!

It s so great to find an automotive repair shop that s honest. The owner explained everything to me before he serviced my air conditioner. He didn t talk down to me because I m a woman like most places do. I m used to going in for one thing and they find numerous other things that need fixed but not this time. The shop closes at 5 and I don t get off work till 4:30 over 30 minutes away but the owner said no worries just get there when I could. Blew me away I will definitely be going back to them for all my repairs . Thank you again for the great service
