The owners were fabulous! We visited on a quick trip to do a shake down of our daughters new trailer. Calling with very short notice, we were accommodated with a cheery disposition and greeted with smiles. This seems to be a mostly seasonal campground. But every site was neat and tidy. We asked for recommendations for restaurants and things to do and got lots of ideas. The Elk and Buffalo preserve was about 30 minutes. We also enjoyed Patti's 1880s settlement for shopping and good icecream! Our gravel site was one of their pull through sites they set aside for their short timers. The utilities were well kept. No problems at all. They even gave us a little extra time when we needed it at check out.

We called Outback RV Resort around 6:30pm and, to our joy, they answered the phone! Yes! Mike, the owner, had a space for our trailer. An hour later, when we arrived (in the pouring rain), Mike not only took us to our parking spot, but helped us with our hookups. Who does that? He was wonderful!Outback is off the 24 and easy to find.

What a great find!Mike and Lori are so nice and friendly. We got there early and were able to check in. The RV park is clean . Even though the streets are narrow they are easily manageable.Lori gave me perfect instructions on what to see and how to get there. We checked out the Amish market and got great veggies and cookies. Had lunch at Hu B .Was a great two days.Thanks again for a great stay!Nearby activities: Land between the Lakes has many things to do.Amish MarketHu b bar and grill

This campground is immaculate. We stopped over while traveling and found this awesome rv resort along i-24. The owners are friendly and helpful. They are mainly a seasonal campground with folks coming to the "Between th Lakes" region. The facilities are modern and clean. They have a very nice pool. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Great staff and a well cared for RV park. We pulled in after a long day driving and they were waiting for us. It was wonderful. Later we discovered that we had a leak in one of our faucets.. They were right there to help us with parts and solutions. You just don't find that level of service at most parks. Thanks for a good nights sleep and taking the time to help us. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back.

As mentioned in other reviews; meticulously maintained with all trees within the grounds preserved.Narrow roads inside the grounds (as others brought up)? True; but not a deal breaker.Really impressed with the patio decks w overhangs (with ceiling fans) that the seasonals put in. The best we've ever seen.The perfect one nighter by far or stay for a few days and enjoy the nearby lakes. If you have a Class C, site D6 has a concrete patio that we got.And the showers?! HUGE!Guessing they are about 6x6. No worries dropping the bar of soap.5 stars across the board.

Outback RV Resort was a great spot for us to spend a night on our way back home. Mike and family were very friendly and accommodating. Being newer to the RV scene, Mike helped us get everything setup for the night. The resort was very clean and quiet with wonderful clean bathrooms. We'll definitely stay here on our next trip through the area!

Nice campground. Well kept. Very friendly, professional and attentive owners. They take you to the site, a bit tight but quite maneuverable. If in the area again, we would definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality. Driving a class A 41ft RV towing a Grand Cherokee Jeep.

Wanted a quiet and clean campground after a long days drive. Contacted Outback RV and they were very accommodating and friendly. When we arrived on property, the owners were super nice and helpful. The site was clean, level and IMHO quite spacious. For a park that is 40+ years old, it was an excellent stay. Look forward to another stay here.

We cant say enough good things about our short stay at the Outback RV Resort. Mike and Lori are exceptional hosts who obviously take pride in the maintenance and care of their property. The RV Park grounds and facility were very clean. If we are traveling in the area again, They will be our first choice when it comes to picking our camp spot. Thank You very much!

Not usually one to write reviews, but this place deserves one. We showed up late with no reservation but they not only gave us a spot to rest for the night, they escorted us to the spot and offered to help us with hooking up the RV. The bathrooms are really clean and the grounds are well cared for with other friendly campers around. When we showed up there was a group playing cards. After a lot of rest stop bathrooms and other campgrounds with either gross bathrooms or no bathrooms, this place was a welcome change. 10/10 would stay here again.

Fantastic park! Mostly seasonal sites, but they have some spaces available for overnights and shorter stays. Very easy to get to right off the highway and a quick 10-15 minutes to get to everything there is to do in the area. Owners are incredible! So friendly and eager to help. The full timers are also very welcoming; everyone we chatted with was a delight. Nice playground for the kids and the shower house, laundry, and office were tidy and clean. Paved roads and sites with updated infrastructure that works perfectly. The only (very minor) quirk is many sites are quite close together, but that is typical of older parks (when rigs were much smaller!) and there's not much the current owners can do about it except create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere which they've done here in spades. You won't mind being close to these folks. Also highly recommend the Elk and Bison Prairie in the Land Between the Lakes; we got some awesome photos right outside our truck!

I was passing through and stumbled on this gem of an RV park. While I can t comment on the grounds, I can assure you if you stay the owners will take good care of you. I had an arrival after 9pm and the owners waited up to check me in and guide me to the site, offering to help me even with setup. Their warmth and customer service were second to none. Even though the majority of the sites are full time seasonal, everything was very tidy and well-maintained which is not always the case. Thank you, Mike and Lori for taking care of a tired and weary traveler!

Outback RV Resort is an amazing vacation destination or a restful stop on your journey. It is a family owned business and they go out of their way to be accommodating. Our three children loved the playground, the pool and watching fireflies by the campfire. Our dog enjoyed the dog park and making friends with the neighbors. It was close to the interstate with many attractions nearby! We loved it and hope to stop by again!

Mike and Lori were very nice and we loved this little RV park. We were passing through on our way home from Colorado and needed only a one night stay. The park was very quiet, very clean, and very level! Although it was midweek and no activities were happening, there was a list of things going on throughout the month. The pool looked clean and inviting though it was about to rain when we arrived. The playground was nice and a covered pavilion is obviously available for small gatherings. We did not use the wifi or cable so cannot comment on them but we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an easy, settled night!

This is an absolutely lovely campground. We stopped enroute to Minnesota and the campsite was clean, welcoming and friendly. The pool was great on those 90 degree days. Beautiful location. We will stay there again if we are in the area. The hosts Mike and Lori were very friendly and their children were wo derful! We needed help with one of our Jack's and their son helped and had parts to help us fix it. Best service we have ever had. I highly recommend this site.

Nice layout. Easy access from I24. Very friendly people and more than willing to help if you need anything. Only one night stay so didn't use facilities. Well kept grounds and sites are large enough for my 40ft 5ver.

Lovely place. Paved roads and sites. We only stayed one night but the owners made us feel right at home. We were assigned a great pull-thru site and they generously invited us to their ice cream social on Saturday (ice cream handmade by residents) and Church on Sunday morning. Many of the dwellings are seasonal park model cabins on blocks with fancy porches added on. We re so glad they had space for us transients .

While traveling we needed a place to just clean up and sleep and this was an amazing spot. Easy to find, clean throughout, a dog park(we only went when no one else was using it) but everyone was nice about waiting as I prefer my dogs not to be with other dogs. Full hook ups and easy pull through sites. I highly recommend!

We stayed here in August of 2016 for only 1 night as we were passing through. It was one of the cleanest RV resorts we've ever stayed at & we've stayed at a lot. It's enough off the beaten path that you don't hear the Interstate, but still close for easy access. Surrounding area is very nice looking & the campground has a nice calm relaxing feel. Very easy to understand the layout of the grounds. We would stay here again.

What a gem. A perfect spot for a stop over. The hosts were phenomenal, the bathrooms super clean and the campground was very well maintained. If we come this way again this will be our stop.
