Had an 8:30 appointment and I arrived 10 minutes early. I learned that someone else's vehicle was taken in right before I walked in. Personally, I didn't care too much for that when I had scheduled an appointment. I stated to the manager that there was a vibration in the steering and I needed my tires balanced. He said they would get on it, as soon as they got the other vehicle before me done. later I over heard that the vehicle in front of me was a family on vacation and they had a flat. Then i had to agree with managers decision to put that family in front of me. It stinks to be on vacation and broke down. When my truck was finished and I got to drive it, i was impressed by the fact that the vibration was gone. I hope the young man, that balanced my tires, knows how much his work is valued. I am a highly satisfied customer and will recommend this store to anyone.

The gentleman working the front were very friendly. The answered all my questions, with no hassles. They even brought out the 2 tires I was looking at, so I could evaluate tred patterns. Work was completed promptly and I would come again

Paid $114 for oil change, i requested tire rotation and they said we will do it but they actually didn't, lied to me. Who knows that they really changed oil in my car or not, unethical practice

Made the appointment online with no problems and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful when I arrived. We will be using the shop again in the future.

Edit: I had already gave a rave review about how awesome this store on Thoroughbred Drive is (2022) needing car repairs presently brought me back again and of course I had an amazing experience with Morgan (great customer service skills) ! I really appreciate him getting me in and out quickly and at a reasonable price. As I ve said before in my last review : My household will continue to be loyal customers as long as we have vehicles! Thanks !

Went into the Ken Towery on Thoroughbred in Danville today around 9:30 am, I waited 15 minutes at the counter with no one in sight, walked back to the garage door trying to respect the employees only sign I did not open the door, I did see one of the employees looking in my direction so I went back to the counter to wait. I wait another 15-20 minutes with no help, this time I went through the garage door and noticed a guy dressed like a slob sitting in a chair in the middle of the garage playing games or watching something on his phone without a care in the world. I said hey is there anyone working the counter today, he said that would be me, and he grabs his drink off the floor beside him and follows me to the counter. I tell him I have a tire going down on my truck and I need to have a repair done, he says to me the earliest I can get you in is 3 pm I had a guy call off today. Frustrated I left thinking the whole time why was he sitting on his butt in a chair in the middle of the garage if he was down a man, why was he not able to do the repair himself, after all I did buy my last several sets of tires from there? I run a multi million dollar establishment myself and when I am down a man I step up to the plate and fill the needs of my customers every time. I will never go back to this KenTowery, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone else.

The survive was great. My car was in and out quicker than expected. My only issue I had was the serviceman got grease all over my visor and left a footprint on the inside of my door. All and all I enjoyed my visit and will return.

Ken Towerys of Danville had the tires I needed at a good price! Had 2 tires changed and balanced and was there less than 20 minutes!!! Outstanding!!!

Only gripe, and not a big one was that I wasn't offered new valve stems. The vehicle is a 2011 Mustang with pressure sensors in the rims and one is defective. I had expected they would notice this and offer me a solution. Partially my fault for not bringing it up in the first place I suppose.

We have a daughter at Centre College. She had a flat tire and the spare was flat as well. She was able to drop tire off for repair but was unable to pick up tire after it was repaired. Gene at Ken Towery had one of his employees drop the tire off at Centre College where she was parked. Gene took care of our daughter when we, her parents, weren t able to be there to take care of her! Thank you Gene you are a kind and caring human being!

Not only did I get my damaged tire replace but Christian, (manager) took the time to investigate the cause of my vehicle issue . He was knowledgeable, courteous and his advice led me down a path to get the problem fixed.

Took my daughter's car there yesterday and Christian helped me. He was very pleasant and explained everything to me and done a great job on my daughter's car. I'm planning on taking my other car there for a new set of tires.

Took my vehicle to this location for an oil change as i have for almost 2 years, 1 week after my oil change my vehicle overheated and i was stuck on bluegrass parkway for 2hours, got towed to my mechanic and i was super low on antifreeze, mechanic checked my vehicle throughly and found no leaks or issues with my radiator, his report was ken towery failed to top off and check my fluids. I called and spoke with Mark to rectify their failure and he was very rude and refused to right their wrong. I DO NOT recommend this place for anything, i would steer clear of it if you want the job done right. Customer service is definitely not a priority nor treating customers with respect. Yes i did get defensive when speaking with Mark, thats exactly what it was, defensive because of his rudeness. Go to Walmart for your oil change and a REAL mechanic for all other needs

Very happy with my service visit! I appreciate their early opening hours. They quickly helped me out of a time-sensitive jam and got me back to work and on the road. It s really nice to be able to talk to a real person on the phone, explain my situation, and have quick suggestions offered to me as well as friendly, capable service. This is my go-to tire place in Danville!

My experience was fantastic. I drove in from Milwaukee to spend thanksgiving with the family and had a vibration on my car. I brought it to kens and spoke with Shawn. The prompt response on diagnosing and repair was excellent. They had me fixed up and on my way in no time without draining the pocketbook. If I didn't live 500 miles away I would come here on a regular basis. Come see Shawn and staff.

I ve had 3 experiences with this location...First, was to get tires replaced... simple enough!Second time, went there bc we were impressed with our first experience, to get our AC system worked on. Car was returned to us, the issue was fixed , but within 1 hr we had to return bc the problem wasn t fixed. Had to leave the vehicle there again, when, if it had been properly inspected the first time, we wouldn t have had to return, have had to be without a vehicle for even more time, but even better... after picking up the vehicle, we couldn t figure out why not just one, but both turning signals needed new bulbs. We go buy the bulbs to replace them, but low and behold, the turning signal harness was never reconnected! So back to the store we go to return the bulbs.Third and FINAL time, take the vehicle back to have work done on the struts. Pretty straightforward, we knew it would be expensive, but was necessary. Get a call the vehicle was ready, given a rundown of what was performed. So assuming that an alignment was performed with the service, your car should drive straight and properly... well, oh boy, was I wrong! Returned AGAIN within minutes of picking up the vehicle. Not sure how an alignment is done, but I do know that your steering wheel should be aligned with your wheels. Yeah, not so much! The car was all over the road and they mentioned it was the wheel toe. Leave the vehicle, again! After 2 full days, the car was not fixed and never received a call. We called to ask what was going on and to get a response that they had a lot of repairs today so they couldn t get to it. Should a car that has been taken back 3 times have priority over oil changes?! Happened to pass by, see my vehicle outside... but wait, why is the driver s side window all the way down? And WHY is the vehicle unlocked? This is on Sunday, when they are closed! I mean, if that s not enough reasons not to return to this business, I m not sure what it is... after spending more than $2000 with this business this year alone, you want to have confidence in their advertised work, you expect the services to be done properly and completed in a timely fashion... and you DEFINITELY expect that your property is being taken care of regardless of how busy you are... not carelessly left unlocked in an open parking lot! It s the attention to the small details that are important, as well as workmanship and taking pride in your work... communication is key in any business, but definitely not to this one! I can t and won t return to this business, which is a shame because we thought we found a decent and reliable place to take our cars since moving to Danville.

Visited the Ken towery's today. My overall experience was great! the manager, Beric was professional friendly and seemed very knowledgeable they had my car serviced in under 30 minutes very nice Shop, clean restrooms ,fairly priced will definitely be a returning customer.

Had an appointment at 9:00 for brake pads and rotor resurface. Was told under 2 hour wait time. Finally left after 3 hours and 25 minutes. Was quoted 80 per tire. Added coolant flush service after I got there which was a special at $80. First quoted $531 when I went to pay!!! Final was $479 ... still too much. $40 shop fee ridiculous and should have been waived for misquote if time and price!!!!!!!Gone here for years....not anymore. Seriously gone downhill since it changed from Hometown Tire to Ken Towery.

Christian was just a peach. I'd replaced just about everything to get my ac working again, he came out in about 2 minutes found the issue and helped me correct it. Good stuff

I visited Ken Towerys today because I was having a problem with my A/C not blowing cold air. While they had my car, they also let me know I needed an oil change and new brakes. They did the oil change, my A/C is back working again and I m going back to have my brakes changed tomorrow. The employee that helped me, Berek, was very nice and helpful. I will definitely always go there in the future!

We took my bfs truck to them to get a alignment done and they broke a tie rode on the truck. So we went got the part and replaced it our selves. And after we did that they closed up the shop and told us that they could finish it tomorrow. I will never go to them again. They was very rude and was gonna raise the bill to tow the truck with out our promotion to do so. This is by far the worst place to go. On top of that we went there to we went there and got a oil change and they never put oil back in the truck causing the engine to blow up. Never go there. If you want to go to Ken towerys go to the one on Houstonville road and ask for Justin

Worst shop I've ever been too. Had them replace my radiator and they didn't even fill it all the way up with coolant. Then a month later it started to leak again. Had them replace my rear tires and I could take one wheel off easily with a 4way but the other wheel was on there like the hulk tightened it. These guys usually don't even have but one certified tech. Absolute GARBAGE

Mark Morris got me in quickly and advised me of my brakes being metal to metal great pricing and the technician Matthew Preston took great care of my truck and promptly got it fixed and returned to me! Great friendly service in a timely manor!!
