This dealership went well above and beyond in my search for the vehicle I was looking to purchase. Dave Erwin and Sherry Jones in the internet sales department were exemplary with facilitating this purchase. Dave was available with any and all questions I had throughout the entire interaction. He was instrumental in a transaction done completely by digital communication, phone conversations, email, across four different states and three time zones. I highly, highly recommend Bob Allen Motormall and Dave Erwin!!

Took my truck in for a simple oil change. No tire rotation, no nothing. Just change the oil.......Well, had a 3pm appointment, truck sat in the driveway for 20 min before the tech moved it outside where it sat for another 15min. So, not only did it sit for 35min after my appt but then they put THE WRONG OIL IN IT!!!!!Whoever "Mike" is he's an idiot! The entire process was a major failure.NEVER trust your vehicle to these people. Mike could care less, he was just a jerk wad.I mean, seriously....a simple oil change and they F'd it up and they could care less.

edit: it's been over two months and still don't have my truck back.....Austin Crowe is a great salesman. We bought a used truck...paid cash in full. Before we got home we noticed that it had a miss or something going on. Called them a few days later and they had us bring the truck to them. They gave us a different truck to drive while they are fixing ours. Very upstanding company....we bought the truck as is but they made it right. I highly recommend.

Went here for a service need. After finding out the work was not covered, was quoted a ridiculous price for install of $100 part ($600-800) for a one hour job that they said would take 3-4 hours. Staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Acted "put out" that this was our first service with them.

Bought a vehicle and within 6 months it was deemed unsafe for the road as the frame was rusted completely through and the break lines rusted a whole through it. Unless you lifted it on a rack you would have noticed the frame and they gave it a clean bill to sell it and put peoples lives in danger. Shame on this company.

I just purchased a 2014 Expedition from Bob Allen in Danville. I dealt with Andrew Gearhart and had a great experience. Communication was consistent and the questions I had were answered promptly. They offered me a fair price on my trade in, as well as gave me a fair price on the new ride. The team went above and beyond getting the deal done. I had driven an hour and a half from Louisville and had forgotten my wife s name only was on the title of the trade in. And she wasn t with me. I was about to have to go home and return in a few days to get her to sign paperwork. Instead. They offered to have one of their employees follow me home to Louisville just so my wife could sign the papers and I could take the truck home same day. Now that s GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Especially in todays world. I will definitely looking for my next car at Bob Allen Motor Mall.

Austin and the rest of the team at Bob Allen Motormall are world class. I've purchased new and used vehicles but I've yet to have had a buying experience as transparent, stress-free, and professionally done as this one. These guys have put our local Ram dealerships in Florida to shame.

False advertising...steer clear. We looked at a new GMC online last week and made the 50 mile trip down to Danville as it showed a nearly $8K discount from MSRP; test drove and sat down with salesmen. They said we read it wrong and it was only with a qualifying trade..but the website showed a -8K discount from MSRP with no other requirements. Going Monday to purchase a new truck from a dealer in Richmond.

"I only gave them a ONE, for services checked off that wasn't performed. ( I had to finish the service when I got home except for the tire rotation in which I am not able physically able to perform.)"WE don't recommend Bob Allen's Service to anyone. They don't seem to care about their customers. My wife ( Who is A Chrysler Retiree)and I recently took her 2021 Jeep Cherokee 80th Addition in for Routine service Oil change filter and rotate tires.I had called and made the appointment for the service and additional to change the cabin filter.{When we arrived at the time, the service desk wanted to know why we were there and I told her that I called and set up the appointment and also a service discount they were offering.}She then ask for the service coupon in which I told that I wasn't told that I had needed one. She became a little upset, but did accommodate one.During the service time I told my wife I was going to parts to purchase the filter, for I felt it wasn't going to happen.Sure enough it didn't, and later discovered that most of the routine check off list wasn't performed.Called left a message with manager, and also explained all in a survey that was sent to me. No response!

I would like to be able to leave a positive review, but I cannot. In March last year, the Bob Allen Fiat Service Dept. fixed my vehicle in something like 2 days and was spot on. I've known people who negotiated good deals on new cars at Bob Allen. So, when my car's clutch went limp and to the floor (which seemed like a hydraulic issue with the master/slave cylinders) on May 11, '22, I naturally had it towed to Bob Allen for repair. It was an expensive mistake. The car sat there 'til the end of July! When I occasionally inquired as I awaited diagnosis and feedback, Bob Allen Service would assure me that, while they apparently no longer sell Fiats (despite the logo online) they could fix it. I asked them to save any parts they remove. At the end of July, the let me know that they replaced a slew of parts, but that it still would not run and that maybe the transmission needs to be replaced. (The transmission had been great until the clutch failed in May.) They gave me a bill for over $2500, but - despite my request -they did not save the parts they removed!! And, I had the car towed to a more trustworthy dealership. Bob Allen lost my trust and my business. The only service from Bob Allen that I received were lame excuses.

Just bought a used Ram from Devlin Deane. He was very laid back and great to deal with. He helped me find what I needed and within my budget. My bank was being difficult with some paperwork and he stepped in and handled it for me. If you re looking for a used car or truck ask for Devlin. He is great.

Took my car to Bob Allen to get the clutch replaced. Took a week to get the part in, but over a month for them to get it replaced. Heather in Dodge service was very rude when I tried to get updates on when they anticipated to fix my car. When my car was finally fixed, they overcharged me from what I was quoted by almost $1000. Then, found out my battery died because the car was sitting for over a month. You think if they grossly overcharge you and make you wait a ridiculously long time for your car to get fixed, that they would, at the very least, make sure your car would be in perfect working order when you got there. I would highly recommend that you avoid taking for vehicles here to get repaired unless you re willing to wait and pay WAY too much.

I got ripped off at Bob Allen Motormall! I purchased a used truck from them and within a mile of driving it off the lot, the oil pressure dropped to zero and I had to pull over. I returned to the dealership, and they made it very clear they were not going to take any accountability. I agreed to a repair, which took a week and a half and didn't fix anything. Now they want me to sink thousands more into it with no assurance that it will even fix the problem. I have now spent over $14,000 and don't even have a functioning truck. Thinking back on the purchase experience, there is some circumstantial evidence that leads me to believe they knew the truck had issues before they sold it to me. I would advise others to be cautious when considering a purchase from Bob Allen. When they tell you the vehicle you're buying is not eligible for a warranty, assume that to mean they know it has issues, and they're planning to charge you an arm and a leg to repair them.-Update: I took the truck to another dealership, and it turns out the repair I agreed to and paid for at Bob Allen was never done. The other dealer did the repair, and it fixed the problem. I was able to get my money back from Bob Allen for the work they did not actually do.

We bought a brand new 2022, ram 3500 Dually, we ordered it the way we want it and now the thing is a piece of junk but what makes it worse is that we ve had the truck not even one year and the particulate filter is messing up we told them we thought it was the sensor because it was jumping all over the place we can get it one time it would say it was half full we get another time it would say zero and then another time it went 100% full in the engine year down or shut down whatever you wanna call it we paid $1700 for them to do a cleaning. My husband is a RV transporter. He has made two complete runs and he is on his third one. He is in Colorado and it s doing the same thing, we got a letter in the mail yesterday saying that the particulate sensor and module need to be replace Heather at Bob Allen s tried to tell me that it didn t have nothing to do with what s going on with our truck and yeah we told them we thought it was a sensor but they said no that s not the code. Does anybody over there know how to work on anything without a code are they that nave to think that that code is always going to be right ? When I explain to her that he was in Colorado, the truck was doing the same thing and shutting down she said he needed to take it to the nearest dealership out there, and that they stood behind their decision on what work they done. And that they would call us whenever they had the parts and could get him in. Then I said the worst thing we ever done was to buy that truck and she hung up on me. Lesson learned never buy nothing from Bob Allen s and definitely don t take your vehicle over there to be worked on because those people don t know what they re doing. We will find us another dealership.

Austin Austin Austin 5 STARS!!So I have leased through Bob Allen for many years and this was my first purchase outright . I live out-of-state so it does bear mentioning that I was also Looking and considering an online purchase as well . My experience with any dealership online has not been a positive one. I guess I am that kind of buyer that needs to look, see, drive a vehicle. Clearly purchasing online really is not an option for meMy husband and I travelled to Danville to look at one specific vehicle. Our salesman (AUSTIN) explained in detail the amenities and features. Unfortunately I was not interested in that particular model. He then introduced us to two completely different models that we had not even considered. He took us on two separate test drives where he explained EVERY SINGLE amenity and feature (Like he was literally quoting the manual from beginning to end). This gentleman knows his product!..a 2023 Jeep Overland L.So we are here we are in December (in northern MI) and they just delivered this morning in the middle of a snow storm!!!!!) along with a follow-up phone call from Austin to make sure we were happy or had any questions.I rarely leave reviews but I will say this There is a difference between good and exceptional and it starts with your sales person. Thank you Austin!!!

Purchase experience 2 years ago was great. Service experience today was not. 2500 Chevy diesel has sat for 2 days in the extreme cold. Reduced engine power and died in the road the other night in sub zero temps. Finally, got it running yesterday and took it in for an already scheduled routine maintenance today. Explained the situation with the truck not wanting to run in the cold. I ve put 911 in the fuel, had the grill cover on and kept it plugged in, all the things they ve told me to do. Service ran diagnostics on it and said the codes displayed are cold weather related and scheduled me another appointment in case it doesn t reset itself. On the way back to Richmond, Ky engine light reset but once I got back service emission system warning came on and 170 miles to max speed reduction came on. Called the service department and explained what was happening. Was told it s not related to the service I just had but since I had an appointment bring it back then. I said this is the most high maintenance truck I ve ever had to deal with and I may as well trade it for a gas Toyota. Their response? I hear that all the time. Not, sorry for this situation , bring it back and let us look at it. Very flippant attitude about a frustrated customer owning a $60,000 paper weight. Luckily, I own a 2005 corolla as my everyday driver with 154,000 miles and it s been 100% dependable while my 2021 truck with 23,000 miles sits with engine power reduction issues. Very dissatisfied with the cold weather performance of the vehicle and the apathetic attitude of the service employee on the phone. The weather warms up Wednesday and come the weekend I ll be ringing in the new year driving a gas powered Toyota truck I can depend on without worry of being in the middle of the road in sub zero temps. Been a Chevy guy my whole life and this is my 4th Chevrolet truck purchase. This 2500 diesel cold weather performance compared to my 2005 Corolla combined with the attitude of the service employee on the phone has made this my last Chevrolet truck purchase and definitely not a fan of the Bob Allen Service Department.Ron Keaton

*Women Beware!* So I bought my truck from here a year ago. Have been considering trading it in on a SUV. I go to get my oil changed and the GM got me into a suv to drive while I waited for my truck to be serviced. Going back and forth with the salesman they came up with me paying an amount biweekly that was more than I was paying now and kindly thanked them but they continued to go back and forth at one point "Writing it up to make it clearer" for me by breaking the payment down weekly. The payment came out to be the same and more expensive than I've been paying, which I told them I was wanting a lower payment. All the while they still haven't touched my truck. If you are a woman do not come here. They will try to take advantage that and then try to insult your intelligence. After an hour they bring my truck out, couldn't rotate tires for some reason and didn't bother to wash it. So they were waiting on me to take a vehicle I told them repeatedly I wasn't interested in. I only come here to get my service because of my warranty but I will be looking into going to a Toyota dealership after this incident. I will not get another vehicle from people who think women should be taken advantage when they work hard for their money.

I guess nobody at Bob Allen wants to sell you a car I have went through 3 people just to be completely ignored on phone calls and texts. I shouldn t have to keep calling to get someone to else to help me. I m 2 hours away from the lot and cannot just drive there. They will not be getting my money anytime soon unless someone contacts me back today.

I see a pattern of one star ratings with people from out of state, and I myself also had a terrible experience while trying to buy a truck from out of state. I contacted a salesman Monday and spoke with him all week about trying to buy a truck. I was attempting to get pre-approved at one of my local banks and was going to come down to the dealer with a check in hand. However, I needed the numbers finalized before going to the bank. They low balled my trade offer (as dealers always do) and would not budge. Claimed they were "only making $500" off of the truck I was buying, which is obviously a lie. They also charge over $600 in documentation fees, which I've never seen that much before. So there is an extra $600 they make per car. I was pushing hard to make a deal, and then i was told they calculated the out of state tax wrong. So instead of me paying $1100 is tax, I was going to pay $2700. And they still would not budge with trade in. Salesman was hard to get ahold of. Would not respond to texts quickly. Would not call me back when he said he would. These guys truly did not seem like they cared about selling a car. As the buyer, why am I doing all the work? I tried for a week to make something happen, but I've never seen a business work so hard NOT to sell me a truck. Their loss. I found another dealer with a nicer truck on Thursday night. They contacted me the next morning and offered $1500 more than these guys would for my trade in. And within 24 hours I bought a nicer, MORE EXPENSIVE truck from the other dealership. Because they clearly wanted my business and actually made an effort. Also, they provided excellent customer service, which is clearly something unheard of at Bob Allen. Don't waste your time with these unprofessional jokers with bad customer service. Take your money and business somewhere you are actually appreciated as a buying customer. And for the record, I rarely ever leave reviews, good or bad, for businesses. But clearly this experience was bad enough for me that I wanted to warn anyone else from wasting their time and getting ripped off by these crooks.

Andy was top notch to deal with. There was very little back and forth making for a straightforward trade-in and purchase. The overall process was the fastest I have experienced and will definitely be purchasing future vehicles here!

Oil change and tire rotation for just over $105. Synthetic oil, about an hour wait, and they washed my truck as well. Only minor complaint is that I didn't know to ask that the spare be rotated as well. Friendly and professional.

I would like to say if you are looking for a new vehicle go see Devin Lawhorn at Bob Allen s Motormall in Danville Ky . My wife has been searching at lots and online for weeks and just couldn t find what she liked until she spotted the new 2021 Buick Encore GX which is much smaller than the Tahoe she traded in but I m sure with the fuel mileage difference it s size is going to grow on her . Thanks again to Devin Lawhorn and the rest of the Bob Allen crew for their awesome service and much patience they gave us during our first ever new car purchase .Thanks again Doug and Jamie Darland .
