This place did an absolute amazing job fixing my wife s car. We had an 04 Infiniti that needed brakes rotors and a front right wheel bearing and they did it in precise time. Very friendly and definitely know what they re doing. Pat and Charlie were the greatest mechanics I have ever experienced. There s over 40 years of knowledge in this place and they will without a doubt get you right!!Services: Tires, Brakes

I had heard the previous owner passed away so I was hesitant to go back, but my experience was just as good if not better than what I ve experienced there over the years. Charlie and team were very helpful and the turnaround was much faster than I anticipated. A+

Amazing shop! Definitely the best in the area. Any mechanical work or tire care needed always gonto S&W. They are the best group of guys I could ever have working on my car! Couldn't recommend them more.

High praise, gratitude & thank yous for Charlie & his Team. I was in the area for a bicycle ride; when my vehicle developed an issue . Charlie informed me of the issue, what was involved; & gave me an accurate / fair cost. There is No review that I can write, that can describe my positive experience with S & W Tire & Car Care. This is an honest, kind, knowledgeable place; that ordered the needed part, installed it, & I was on my way in less than 3 hours, on a Holiday week ! I expected it would be all day / hoped it would be done by that day ! Deanie from Florida.

The best mechanic i have ever been to and KY is the third state ive lived in. Charlie is an awesome guy and is very transparent. he outlined the prices of what was necessary for the work done on my vehicle and the final price was actually lower than what he quoted me. a different shop in newport that is brand name wanted to charge me over 3x. my car is always ready same day and quicker than what is estimated to me!

I ve been coming to Lou and his Boys for almost 5 years. They are nothing but honest and loyal. They are fast, and Do great work... they are there for YOU. Word of the mouth travels fast and it ll travel fast from me because I recommenced this shop to anyone, they are there to help, not screw you! LOU, you and your TEAM are phenomenal!!! I've been taking my car to S&W for about 6 yrs. They take the time to explain what's wrong with your vehicle & answer any questions you have. They exhibit great customer service as well as great auto service/repair. I trust them to fix my car and have no concerns about overcharging or unreliable service. They come no more honest than Lou and Charlie, honest, hard-working guys that give your car the best they have to offer. I have a car that is almost 30 years old. S & W keep me on the road, safely, it is my daily use car. Took my 89 year old Mom's van in and they have started a service record for her. Which is perfect for her, she needs to be reminded that the van needs a look at on a regular basis. Lou and Charlie both know if I have trouble I will beat a path to their door.

Lou & the folks at S & W Tire & Car Care really saved my bacon. I was coming home from work when I went over a small bump and heard a terrible scraping sound underneath my car. I got out and checked, and my flex pipe had come loose and was dragging underneath my car.My wife's coworker recommended S & W Tire & Car Care, so I decided to give them a try, which was a great decision. Not only did they get my car taken care of the next day, but the price for the work was great & fair (they fixed my flex pipe for half of what I was quoted by my old mechanic over the phone, and the oil change I had done was about 1/3rd of the cost I've been used to paying). The car has been running well, and assuming it continues to do so (I see no reason why that won't be the case) then I've got a new mechanic. I will absolutely bring my car back.

Best place in town. No one is more knowledgeable than My Dad. Man could fix anything. Electrical issues, motor noises, or simple maintenance. You'll never be left with a bad taste in your mouth. Highly recommended.

S & W Tire & Car Care has been the shop our family cars have been taken for a number of years for all services. Lou does an excellent job of running the business. He has an excellent staff of mechanics who help him run a timely job with perfection. Always a pleasure to hire them for service .

Lou always takes care of mine and my family's vehicles at a very reasonable cost. We've all been going there for our auto repair needs for over a decade now. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with other less reputable auto repair. Lou is a straight shooter that will get you fixed up right.

Lou is awesome. I pulled up with my car smoking. As soon as I went in he pulled it into the bay. Ordered the part before I told him to fix it. Was out the door within the hour. It was a friday at 3:30 when I pulled in.

My son had a quote from Tire Discounters for repair on his a/c, $700-1,000. I told him to take it to Louie at S & W. It was only in need of a belt! Thanks Louie for your honesty!

Took car in to get a window fixed. Had a very small power steering fluid leak. They put my car on lift, now power steering fluid is POURING OUT, AND THEY PUT MY HOOD STICK UNDER THE BATTERY CABLES SO ITS is damaged now. The lift damaged my car also.

I always worry about whether a mechanic is being honest with me, but I never have to worry about these guys. They tell me exactly what's going on with my car every time, have great prices, and really care about the customers they serve.

I've used this mechanic for over 10 years. Prices are fair, they aren't late on repairs and the problem has always been fixed the first time.
