After 7 years of using this location, it s time I faced facts and take my business elsewhere. The amount of recent negative reviews should not be ignored; this location is garbage. I made an appointment yesterday for an oil change today. I dropped my car off at 1:30, got a call at 4:45 saying it was taking longer than expected and will be done at 6:00, then I walked over at 6:45 to find out it wouldn t be done for another 45 minutes. Why grant me an appointment if you re not even going to start on it until your posted closing time? A 6 hour turnaround time for an oil change is embarrassing. I came to this location out of proximity and convenience. But there s no reason to keep coming back if they re going to provide unapologetically terrible service.

It took 5 days to fix a flat tire when it should have only taken one. Had to bring my car back 3 times in those 5 days. They said the tire was fixed each time. Drove my car home 3 blocks and it was flat each time. Had to go the holidays without a car. Major inconvenience and ZERO customer service. They applied a 10% discount for the trouble, but I still had to pay for the tire to be replaced. I shouldn't have had to pay anything since it was still under warranty, and they did not fix it correctly 3 times. I will NEVER bring my car back to Firestone, and I have already let my entire family and friends know that they need to steer clear as well. Terrible experience, and a total hassle. Luckily for them, I can not give 0 stars.

Love this Firestone! We were facing several issues with our Hyundai Santa Fe, and Jeff made sure we were always taken care of. Great customer service even though it was tricky to figure out what was wrong with the car. Made a loyal customer out of me!

Had issues with this location and tried addressing with the manager. Reached out to customer service, including asking to speak with corporate, and after 2 months I have yet to receive a call. This was my first dealings with Firestone and will certainly be my last. Work requested was NOT completed nor was I called about other work that needed to be done. Tires are good but paided and requested services I am not happy with. I will look elsewhere in the future.

As someone who is known to always have car issues, it's been a struggle to find an auto shop that I can consistenly trust. I've been to this Firestone multiple times for all different fixes, and every single experience has been a positive one. Every person I've spoken to is extremely nice, non judgemental, and don't pressure me into getting something I dont understand or may not actually need. I live within walking distance so I can't speak for how timely they work since I usually say take as long as you need but they're still usually done within a few hours. Highly recommend.

I wish I could give Jeff and his team more than 5 stars. My car broke down as I was on my way home to Nashville, and I was able to limp my way to his shop. He was able to work me into the schedule but he didn't have the part I needed, but he was able to get me running enough to get home. And he only charged me $30 which was WAY too little for all the work his team did.

I'll give this place 5 stars because I realize just like every business, they have their good days and their bad days. I went in Monday November 6th,2023 for a front end alignment. Got it done the team at this location is good. Then Wednesday the 8th I come back because of some popping noises and steering wheel shaking. They told me they would do an inspection see if they could find the cause. They found one and it was my lower ball joint crown nut that was loose. They didn't charge me anything and I was on my way. Noticed the popping noise didn't go away. I get home get my car on the lift and my Outer tie rod crown nut is loose and my upper control arm ball joint crown nut is loose along with my driver side sway bar end link. Just curious as to why those things were not caught while they were looking at it. Other than that I like this location and the team that works there.

I thought my alignment was off so I took it in. Everything was in spec except the toe was 0.5 degrees off. Was charged $130 to adjust the toe on one side by less than half a degree.

Went here for a tire rotation and oil change. Got me in and out quickly and the guy at the desk named Jeff was nothing short of amazing and patient. Phones going off, customer being rude and he handled it greatly.

I dropped my car off for an oil change (I had made an appointment), and I told the guy at the front desk that I had a vibration when I would accelerate. I told him that I was hoping that getting the tires rotated and balanced would fix the issue. When they called and told me the car was ready, I asked about the vibration, and he said that they didn't find anything. When I picked up the car today, they gave me a whole list of things that needed to be done. 1. Why do you need my car almost the entire day for an oil change when I had an appointment? 2. Why not tell me the issue before I come to pick it up so that they can be addressed. 3. THEY DIDN'T EVEN DO THE BALANCING that I requested they do in the first place.The guy today said that if I had time they could still do it. I don't have time...and you had my car all day yesterday. He just kept saying that he wasn't there yesterday when my car was worked on. I don't care who was there, I just expected them to do at a minimum what I requested. He was very condescending. I have taken my cars to this location for years, but it has gone downhill quick. I will not be back.

Caleb was so helpful and really put my mind at ease. He made me very comfortable by telling me what they were doing beforehand, and while doing it. I came from out of town and felt like there just was something not right about my car. Their service was efficient and a great price. Not really happy that I have to do this. But the level of deceitful behavior the people that work here go too to make a profit might actually equate to evil. That being said, I want to make this as compact as possible. They claimed they didn't have a 'tool' that cost less than 100 dollars to say a 'tow' was required that would've cost $250. Charged 700+ for unnecessary repairs. Then came back saying 750+ more was required in repairs. That first bit of repairs were done per their suggestion. Didn't fix anything. Was able to find someone who was honest and noticed I had a vacuum leak from the sound. They found it in minutes, replaced the hose for an absurd amount less than I paid and was quoted for the second repair. Most corrupt mechanics I've ever been to. Going to be in touch with the corporate side of things soon.

Had an appointment for 12 noon to get new tires. Drop my car off at noon they said it would take a couple of hours. Didn't hear from them so at 3:30 went to pick up my car it hadn't been touched. They didn't even bother to call me to let me know they couldn't get to it. They said there was a car on the lift that needed more work then they thought. They have about 5 lifts they only have one lift to change tires on l guess. Maybe with customer service like that is why they only have a 3 star rating.

The service here in my opinion is second to none. I am now a faithful firestone customer and have moved not only my personal cars but our companies fleet of trucks and cars to firestone! They always do a great job and work hard to make sure your back on your way quickly and safely.

They tell you they can change 4 tires in 1 to 1.5 hours. 2.5 hours later and I m still waiting. Will not be back.

I had a slow leak on a tire and asked them to check it out. I was told that the nail in the tire was at an odd angle and couldn't be patched so my only option was to get a new tire. The only tire they had available was $200+ for my sedan so I decided to get one somewhere else. I relay this information to the next shop and tell them I will have to get a new tire. Only to be told that there is no nail! Turns out the tire was just on the rim wrong which was causing a slow leak. This reputable shop was able to easily fix it free of charge. Firestone Covington, that is super shady, lying to customers to try and get more money. Shame on you.Service: Tires

I told them I didn't need my car fixed that fast and they still got it done quickly. Kept me updated the whole time, and gave me a fair price on a wheel bearing. All and all perfect score for customer service.

The technician damaged my tire doing a patch/plug repair. The store manager told me that a reginal manger will contact me. It has been a week and I have not heard from anybody.Contacted Firestone main office; they said I will be contacted in two days. It has been five days. I have sent several emails no response. FIRESTONE IS NOT RELIABLE.Hope someone contacts me soon. Simon

The service was excellent. We had a flat and it was a last minute challenge for us. When we arrived, the gentleman (we can't recall his name...very handsome young man) met us and immediately began working. He was polite and very knowledgeable about his craft. We forgot to tip him and will stop on our way back home. Great customer service is so hard to find and for these Georgia travelers; this was heaven sent. We are grateful for all the angels surrounding us during that challenging time in our life.

Brought vehicle in for an alignment and because there s an issue with the lift they decide to tell me it s because my truck weighs too much. 10k lift and 7k truck. They then proceed to tell me it s because my truck weighs 10k. Gvwr and curb weight are two totally different things and the incompetence In not knowing such has put me in a bind because I made an appointment for a reason. They then looked for another shop with over 10k lifting capacity. Except my truck doesn t weigh 10k. 2019 short bed 2500

I have always had a great experience at Covington and Newport Firestone locations. They are my go to! Brian, Lyndsey and every employee I ve interacted with this last week in Covington were extremely friendly and patient. Unfortunately they were unable to get my car going (completely beyond their control,) absolutely went above and beyond to try to accommodate my needs and answered every single annoying question with integrity for literally a week. Always a straight up honest answer. Thank you guys so much for everything!

I was at Devou Park this morning, and someone noticed my tire was very low. Turned out my spare was very low as well. I called State Farm roadside assistance. Since spare was flat too, they were going to have to tow car. Friend suggested that could take all day, and maybe tire just needed air. There was still some air in tire, so I followed friend through Covington until we found Firestone open on Sunday. They quickly put air in tire, and checked other 3 as well. And when I asked what I owed, they said no charge! Their service was friendly and efficient, and the price was right! Yay, Firestone! Service: Tires

Tire rotation. Tech didn't bother to look or tell me the brakes had about 300 miles left before they destroyed the pad sensors. That's was fun while on vacation.
