So after watching countless hours of YouTube, I attempted to change an oil cooler on a 3.6 pentistar which required tearing down the top of the engine. After 5 hours It went together but was running rough. I had misfires and codes all over. Took it apart again to see if I missed an electrical connection and then it wouldn't start at all I finally swallowed my pride and took it to Lance at Elite Auto on Russell. A couple of hours into diagnostics, Lance sent the pic. A bolt had fallen down the back cylinder. They got me in quick because my son had to head back to college in the am. We have been here several times and Elite has saved our butt each time. Been to a lot of shops but this one by far if the best. Had they not done a thorough examination, that bolt would have destroyed that motor.Thank you Lance and Elite Automotive.

I had a great experience with Elite automotive! The dealership had quoted me at $3K worth of work, so I decided to call around to some local shops for their quotes. Elite gave me the lowest quote for the estimated work, but advised they d want to take a look and make their own diagnosis prior to servicing my vehicle. They uncovered the dealership gave the wrong diagnosis, which aligned to my own research, and saved me a lot of money in repairs. They made sure to get a full history of services, recorded everything in a digital inspection so I didn t have to keep track of paperwork, and then made recommendations for future services based on my cars mileage and historical services. Ken was great to work with and made sure to explain everything so I was fully informed on the what and the why. They were also very respectful of my time and budget and helped prioritize work to be done based on my needs.

Elite got us in in a timely manner, adhering to the scheduled date and time we chose online, even during a busy holiday week. The staff were friendly and answered all our questions; they even offered free tire rotation if we came back to their shop for oil changes in the future. I would recommend Elite Automotive to anyone in the area looking for tires or service

I ve been trusting my cars (and therefore my pocket book and life!) to Elite for 15 years. Not once have I been tempted to go anywhere else because I have always felt heard and taken care of. They kept a beloved Scion xB safely on the road for over 300,000 miles and are now taking care of my Prius. Highly recommend!!

Elite Automotive was able to get my car fixed quickly unlike the dealership which would have taken months. They were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. They also emailed me detailed information about every aspect of my car so I was aware of potential problem areas in the future. I would highly recommend them!

Brough my car to Elite Automotive on Decoursey Ave and they were able to diagnose the problems and order the parts I needed with no problems.Bill was very helpful in keeping in contact with us as to when the parts would come in and when they did got us in the next day for repairs. They originally were going to have me car for 2 days, but got it completed the same day. Everyone was very helpful, knowledgeable and I can t say enough good things about our experience there.We will definitely be taking all our cars here for any work in the future.Thanks so much Elite Automotive!

Elite took good care of my Acura MDX when it was experiencing weird electrical issues. They quickly diagnosed the problem, got the replacement part and fixed it. They even brought my battery back to life! Lance was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. No need to drive to the dealership and pay dearly for it. We will bring all our cars here from now on.

Highly recommend Elite Automotive. In addition to the high quality work, they are courteous, and do an outstanding, straight forward, honest job communicating about current issues with your car and recommendations for future service. My daughter's car stranded her. They arranged a tow, diagnosed the problem, showed where the problems were and fixed. Highly recommend.

I came here beacuse a friend recommended and they were awesome. I don't understand anything about cars so I always worry I can get scammed. Here They treated me really nice, make a detailed evaluation of my car and showed me what was completely neccesary, what was needed but could wait and what was ok.They even gave a ride back home when I left my car.Absolutely going back here.

Elite Automotive in Covington is the only place I trust. They send detailed diagnostic pictures and explain everything well. Also, this place has the best customer service and I've been coaching customer service skills as a career for years. Kindness is really important to me. This is the place to go if you like kind, knowledgeable, and trustworthy service. It's also dog-friendly :)
