This was a preferred body shop from my insurance company and it didn t disappoint! They are always fast to respond to emails and my daughters car was fixed fast and I. Great condition! Would definitely return!

got my repairs done here and even with how busy lou was he still managed to put my car in the loop and get it done and looking new again as soon as he and the team could..thanks again c and l auto !!

They are so great! On 3/17/23 my window on the driver's side of my Honda fell down. Having this model of car, I know that this is a frequent issue in this vehicle. I've replaced the motor for the window already and I just didn't want to keep replacing this part. At this point, I just want the window closed even if it was not operational.Anyway, on 3/17 it was pouring rain. I had a pond in my floorboard from all the rain! I called so many repair shops and no one could fit me in same day.Luckily C&L answered and had a small opening in time and were able to help. They got my window back up permanently. I didn't want to replace the motor, I just wanted the glass back in place so my car stopped flooding.I was so grateful. The price was much lower than other shops (who had no opening same day) had quoted me. The customer service was out of this world and everyone was so kind. I will definitely come back.

They not only worked the payment out with the "at fault" driver's insurance without me having to lift a finger, but the car ended up looking better than when I bought it! To the shop owner: It was the white Chevy Spark. Excellent job!

I was sent here thru erie insurance for a claim for someone hitting n running my new jeep outside my house while I was asleep but I brought it in got my estimate in a few short days and got an appointment n he said he would have it ready within a week after having it

I took my car to C & L to get my steering shaft replaced and a all around alignment. They replaced the steering shaft properly but did a terrible job on my alignment. I bought 2 new back tires not even a month ago and now have to buy two more because they got tore up from the alignment not being properly done. Keep in mind my tires are low profile so I will now have to spend $400 for two new tires

My Ford Fusion was sideswiped on 75 North recently. A friend of mine told me to use C&L Auto for the repairs. Louie worked with the Insurance Adjuster and in a few weeks my car was repaired. Not only was it repaired, it looked like a brand new car! The paint job was awesome with no overspray or blemishes. The new parts were installed and looked perfect, everything was aligned properly, so kudos to Louie for a job well done! I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs their car repaired.

Great people and great work! Reasonable and fair pricing. Convenient location, too. What else is there? Everybody needs to say... "I got people" who they can turn to for specialty help. With body work, C&L is my people!

My deceased father Jake was a customer of C & L Auto. C & L Auto is holding me/family responsible for a dead man s debt in order to release my dad s car to me. The car has been held at C & L Auto for ransom since September 2020 when C & L were aware of Jake's death. C & L Auto told me they would junk the car. I am not liable/responsible for any charges by C & L Auto in regards to this car as I am not their customer. I did not agree to any costs or fees billed by C & L Auto. Louis Grout Jr., AKA Little Lou was provided a Petition to Dispense in March 2021 to dispense assets to me, not for me to dispense to C & L Auto.Little Lou at C & L Auto told me Big Lou AKA Louis Albert Grout II, owner of C & L Auto: He won t release the car until payment though. That s why I m saying bring $100 then you can have it. I m not trying to be mean but are you still planning to pick up your dad s old car? Like I said there is a $100 to that needs to be paid before the car can be picked up. Unfortunately, cannot give you the car. We have to get paid for the service we did. I do not believe C & L Auto Body junked the car like I was told because:1) The title is not showing as junked at the DMV.2) Little Lou is refusing to give any information about the car or it s whereabouts, etc.

Best Garage for Mechanic work or Body work around. Good honest people that treat you fairly. We take all of our company vehicles to C&L Auto. We travel 100,000+ miles a year in our company vehicles and C&L are the only guys we trust to make sure we do not end up broke down hours away from home. Brian the mechanic is one of the best around. When a auto service business keeps the same employees for 10+ years you know they treat their employees with integrity and respect. As you can tell I have much respect for C&L Auto in Latonia, KY. If you need mechanical work, body work, a tune up, transmission serviced, tires, battery, or even just an oil change I highly recommend C&L Auto. They will treat you the way they would want to be treated. Keep up the great work gentlemen. There is a reason why this business has been around for 45+ years!

Terrible experience!I decided on this place after reading some of the stellar reviews but was disappointed by the result. I suspected this was not an honest place of business when I walked into an empty front office and was confronted with auto parts scattered everywhere and desks piled high with paper and trash. There was a strong urine odor.The owner gave me an estimate on some body work and I agreed. He said the payment would have to be in cash which should've been another red flag. When the work was done they demanded more money. The explanation was that I didn't have a written estimate (I was never given one) and they had to "reestimate" the job after I dropped off the car. The price almost doubled! Against my better judgement, I still gave them the amount we originally agreed on, they took it but wouldn't release my car. I ended up having to go into debt to pay them what they asked because I felt I had no choice. I asked for a receipt but he said his receipt book was out of blank receipts. Wouldn't even look me in the eye at that point.The body work itself was not worth the money by any measure and I will need to take it to another shop to have it corrected.C&L took advantage of me in the worst possible way. I regret to say that I am too trusting of people at times and it has come back to bite me.I'm not sure if the other reviewers really are satisfied customers or just friends of the owner but I would not recommend C&L Auto Body to anyone.

New to the area and don't know where to take your car for repairs? TAKE IT HERE! I was new to the area and nervous about going to a shop I didn't know, but these guys did not disappoint! They were curtious, fixed my vehicle in a timely manner with supber and quality work and returned it cleaner than when they got it! Seriously can't appreciate and praise them enough for a job well done.

Remember that old saying, "if you find a good mechanic he/she is worth their price in gold." C & L Auto Body gives new meaning to trustworthy and affordable. They do great work on the body of cars after accidents and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, etc. and are fair in price. Love this place.

This shop works on our fleet vehicles, good business with good prices, they are very respectful of your property in your vehicles, and they do very good work. And they do it all from oil to engines, brakes and body work. Great place!!

Horrible experience with this company. My car was towed from a restaurant parking lot after getting permission from an employee, but not the owner (like I would know). Due to the issue the owner of the restaurant said that he would cover some of the costs incurred or ask the towing company to cut me a deal. Mind you I called and called and the shop closes at 5, and I got home at 530 and was unable to get ahold of anyone in regards to my property until Monday morning at 8am. So although I could have paid for the tow on Friday, and the shop wasn't open Saturday and Sunday, I had to pay for all of the days. I would understand if the vehicle were in the way when the shop was doing business but they were closed, and I still incurred the cost, with absolutely no contact at all. He refused to cut a deal although the owner of the restaurant requested him to. Mind you 3 weeks before Christmas?? What tops it all is I drive the car home and get the boyfriend to take me to work, once I got in the passenger side I noticed a wedge and damage that was incurred on the passenger side door panel, from them breaking into my car!!!! There are now scratches all around the unlock/lock button all the way up the panel, and they will not come out. So not only did they not have any consideration of the situation that happened they damaged my car! I now have to contact my insurance company in regards to the damage!! Bottom line, if you want considerate service, thoughtfulness on behalf of a small town business, and your car not to be damaged DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! RIDICULOUS!
