Booked here after a great experience at their Dawsonville location, what a disappointment. We only stayed one night. We arrived at 1am, tired and ready to sleep. Location seemed sketch as we drove up. The parking lot was full and the place overall gave a dingy motel vibe. In the lobby I could already tell this was not going to be the same experience we had at the previous location. Check-in seemed painless until we arrived at the room. The smell of mold and funk hit us like a brick. Upon inspecting the beds we found they were stained, smelled like they hadn't been washed, and there was makeup on one of the pillows. I went back downstairs to see if there was another room available. I wasn't expecting a 5-star hotel experience but at least a clean room. The person at the front desk let out a sigh and an eye roll when I asked about another room because this one was excessively moldy and not cleaned. I don't think it was directed at me and I get that it was 1am, but I also didn't want to be dealing with this at that time. He was not rude per say, clearly just annoyed with the situation and time I'm sure. He gave us another room. It didn't smell clean, but it didn't smell dirty either so we checked the beds and they seemed OK. We showered... shower was full of hair - long hairs and hair shavings. Shower curtain was moldy. We were just so tired at that point that we just accepted this as our fate for the night. Finally, when we were ready to hit the bed we realized some pillows were clean and some were dirty. I think at that point we just tried to put it out of our minds and get sleep. We stayed far away from Holiday Inns for the rest of the trip. Nothing about this location indicated that regular cleaning happens in or out of the rooms. Would not recommend.Rooms: Dirty - Would not recommend.

When I checked in, the front desk woman was pleasant. I asked for a top floor room facing to the back because the hotel is situated immediately next to I-75 and I was concerned about the traffic noise. She smiled and went to her keyboard and provided my key without comment. I went to my assigned room and realized it was on the front looking directly at the passing traffic on I-75. Perhaps that was the only room available although it was quite early (4pm). It would have been nice if the woman told me I m sorry, we don t have any available rooms facing back . Then I could have decided if I would rather stay elsewhere. The hotel appears to have only one elevator to service three floors. It is very very slow and the wait was quite long every time we used it. Another thing that surprised me was there was no in-room coffee maker. There was a sign saying it was an effort to avoid single use cups ? I ve never seen that before. So, I went to the main floor lobby and got a cup of coffee in a single use cup. All in all, not the best guest service and a disappointment after a long day of driving. But, the room was clean and spacious with comfortable bed and chair. Breakfast was fine and served right on time.

Room was clean and customer service was pleasant. The only issue was when we first walked in the room it was pretty hot and stuffy. Once we put the air on though , it was good. I love how the hotel was right next to a few fast food places walking distance. That's great for people who do not know their way around that town. Holiday Inn Express NEVER disappoints me . I even like it better then Double Tree.....and I really like Double Tree. Some Holiday Inn expresses are better then others but for the most part ,I still enjoy each stayRooms: I would've maybe put some waters in the room. There where times where all I wanted was water and my husband had to go downstairs to buy some .Walkability: There are a lot of different choices to eat all around you and the gas station is walkable as well.Noteworthy details: I love the way I ran my finger around certain parts of the room and there was no dust. I didn't freak out my stay there. I felt comfortable

First, I'd like to start positive. The breakfast I found quite good! I really enjoyed the pancake maker. The employees were sweet and very helpful. Now, the negative. The beds were INSANELY uncomfortable. The plug-in outlets didn't work. My cord wouldn't plug in due to the plastic protector overlapping. When I went into the bathroom there was a hole/dent in the wall.I probably would not stay in this hotel again, but I would if I had to.Edit: I wish I didn't have to put this review at a lower rating, but I decided to give this hotel a second shot and it failed miserably. Me and my roommates tried to set up our alarm clock but it said "low battery" even though it's plugged into the wall, the bathroom door doesn't lock, and the bathroom is unclean (hair in shower, dirt in the tub). Again, the plug ins don't work. If you need a hotel in Corbin, I highly recommend not going here.

The staff was friendly! Very clean hotel. LOVED the technology. As an IHG member I had a greeting on the T.V. with my points. The TV had the ability to check out and review bill, casting ability, and you can use your phone as a remote. The entrance sign is very hard to see and can easily be missed situationed between McDonald's and Arby's.The room we were in had a funky layout. Cannot see tv from couch because the couch was is a "cubby" hole. Lots of room!

It worked out great for me. When I was too tired to drive that night I stayed here. Very nice hotel with basically the same breakfast as all hotels of this caliber..My room was clean, large and comfortable.

When rooms were updated, thermostats were installed which are motion detected, explained to us by front desk. Our room never cooled down. All night, the thermostat dropped only 2 degrees. We keep our thermostat low all year round, so you can imagine how uncomfortable we were at 72. Poor move HIX. If this is how all your locations are now, we can t spend our money here. We didn t receive our points for our stay either. Has this changed as well?

We had a 5# service dog and I had a nosebleed,a tiny one, on the "linen" they charged us 150 for cleaning!!!We have brought 200# Neapolitan mastiffs to motels for 20 years and have NEVER been charged for cleaning.Male manager lied. Said he shampooed the carpet 3x and still didn't get the "stench" out. There is no recourse. All I can say is God don't like ugly.....

Stopped here for the night on our way home from Florida. Location was great, right off the highway. Lots of restaurants and gas stations close by, but hotel was very quiet. The hotel was clean and inviting, the night check in attendant was great!! Room was very clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that I didn't want to get up. It was the best nights sleep I've had since I left home for vacation. Breakfast was really good, nice variety of hot food. N I especially loved the automatic pancake maker!! They tasted just like I made them at home. I didn't really wanna stop for the night but my brother convinced me to and I'm so glad we chose the Holiday Inn Express!! I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area.

Now in all fairness all the front desk attendants were very polite and respectful. I m referring to the two staff members that were smoking in the front entrance of the lobby, As I was going to check out I said good morning to them both and they both said nothing and turn in the other direction. I mentioned it to the manager on duty who said he would address the issues. As I was walking back out I addressed the same to ladies and said, didn t you guys hear me said good morning, one didn t say anything again and the other sarcastically replied good morningIHG Diamond Elite member

My reservation was cancelled for no reasonI had a reservation with the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Corbin, an IHG Hotel in Williamsburg, Kentucky, which was cancelled without any reasonable explanation. I had booked two rooms for three nights (May 4, 5 and 6) in preparation for my graduation at a local university. However, the manager called me and claimed that the Friday reservation was no longer available due to a double booking, which I believe was untrue. The cancellation was extremely inconvenient, especially given the high-priced season and the limited availability of alternative accommodations at such short notice. I was disappointed that the hotel did not make any effort to ensure that my reservation was honored or to provide alternative arrangements.Overall, my experience with this hotel was unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend it to others. I hope that in the future, the hotel will handle similar situations in a more satisfactory manner and be transparent with their customers. Please save yourself the hassle and disappointment by considering other accommodations in the area.Thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Breakfast was almost positive. All food was very good. But, no decaf coffee. The first room we had looked like the bed was slept in. Sheets are way too small and corners of sheet were not on the mattress. Our second room was similar. Sheets were beyond wrinkled and not fitting the corners, same as other room. Bed was comfortable. Kleenex in bathroom was almost empty( ( no extra) Toilet paper roll was more than half empty.(no extra). Keurig did not work. Could not adjust thermostat. We stay in a lot it other IHG hotels and this one needs help. The workers we encountered were all nice. We were only there about 11 hours.

I've been going to holiday inns since early eighties. It's sure gotten a lot more expensive but I've got to tell yet they are on top of their game. They've got clean, great rooms, excellent furniture and that nice little breakfast in the morning. It's a good value for the dollar.

Pet stench from a 5 lb dog. No. Never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express before. And never will again. Place was empty. Glad we were able to help you make up your lost income.Predict you will be closing soon.Don't stay here. They are thieves.

Very clean. Unique location. Down home feel. Breakfast was great, lots of fresh options. Front desk was always trying to do three things at once, every trip up front we had to wait a they only staffed one person, to anweser phones, check in and out, make sales from the convenient store, and help guest with other things like extra towels. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Just short staff.

Wow this hotel blew me away. It's super renovated. There are so many lighting options that are a nice soft white. The shower head is huge with multiple settings, including a mist. The tv is large and allows hdmi attachment. The king bed is perfect firmness and best of all, the curtain shades close all the way down. Well worth the price and highly recommend. It's also within 10 minutes of the unique Seasons restaurant.

Entry from the road is easy to miss at night. Very clean hotel, looks brand new. Great shower. Our bedside tables had not been cleaned well, our only dislike. Shower has amenities fastened to the wall, ours were empty; pandemic(?). Microwave, refrigerator, wardrobe in room. Great breakfast area, hot and cold food. Fitness room, and outdoor pool.

The hotel in general was clean and updated, including our room. The one problem we had was the tub/shower combo was very slooooooow to drain. In fact we went downstairs to eat breakfast and when we got back it still had 2-3 inches of water in it. Also had no washcloths in our bathroom and went to front desk to request more(because phone in our room didn't work) and was told they had no clean ones oh BTW it was 9:00 at night. But fortunately it was only a 1 night stay so we survived. BTW the breakfast was outstanding!

Very nice room. Smelled clean, comfortable beds, nice size TV & great shower pressure. My only complaint if it is one, they didn't have 3 bath towels, nor did it have an extra set of blankets in a double suite. Which I found kinda odd, but overall, a very nice place to stay.

First impression: Check-in was a breeze - I gave my name and was handed my keys. But, more importantly: I travel a lot for work, and this is by far one of the most comfortable hotels I've ever stayed in. The bedsheets and blanket are so soft, and the mattress is perfectly firm yet cozy. After my shower, the towel was spectacular. Somehow combining a luxuriously soft, plush towel with the absorbency and water-wicking prowess of a scratchy & worn towel. Even the showerhead has an impossible to describe stream - a sort of soft, plushy outflow that made for one of the coziest showers of my life.I don't often review hotels. But this deserves every star I can give it. I recently stayed at a 5-star resort in Mexico that pales in comparison to the unbelievable luxury I am feeling at this Holiday Inn Express.

The location is the only thing this place has going for it. I had called to the lobby for towels because we were only given two for a four person stay. I had to go to the lobby to retrieve the towels only to find out he gave me bath mats instead of towels. The room was filthy. I could go on, but you get the idea.Rooms: Filthy and understocked.

My spouse and I have stayed at Holiday Inn Express Hotels across the country, and this was the first time we were truly disappointed.I did not have high expectations of our stay in Corbin for the evening. It wouldn't be fair to compare it to a Holiday Inn located in Savannah or Jacksonville. However, it was the simple things that irritated our experience. The host at the front counter was very friendly. I did not get her name, but she was a young, petite white female who tried to help us to the best of her abilities. She checked us in quickly; which we appreciated after driving for 6 hours. The hotel was oddly at capacity. We asked why, and the staff said it was always busy on the weekends. Our room was missing a blackout shade. We have 2 windows being on the corner, and the window closest to the parking lot lights was missing the blackout shade. We were also on the top floor, so the light was shining very bright. We called the front desk, and she brought up a blanket that we had to help her cover over the window. It made it a little more bearable, but if we didn't have sleep masks it would have been nearly impossible to sleep. We were told we would get a discount on our room, but we never did. We'll reconsider where we stay a little more on future trips.
