We got to the room and the photos do not match at all with what the room actually looks like. The mattresses were like a piece foam on metal bars.My little sister got into the shower after throwing up and there was a window looking right into the shower along with no hot water at all.After a few minutes of staying our father noticed cockroaches crawling on the door. We got up super fast and started packing our things back into the car when we noticed more cockroaches crawling around the windows, cockroaches dead on the ground outside, and more bugs and roaches in the shower.The service was decent and the desk lady was super nice but we did not get to stay because of this problem. We would NOT recommend this motel for anybody to stay at. I only have a few photos of the cockroaches because they all moved pretty fast and started hiding but these 2 pictures are just 1 of the many roaches there were.

Room was not ready at check-in time of 3pm. Was asked to come back in an hour or two. Upon entering the room was very disappointed as our room was nothing like advertised. Mattress on a platform, barely a foot from the ground. Wifi did not work in the room only in front of the entrance or inside.No mini fridge or coffee pot in the room. Tried to shower around 7pm and the water would not heat up, asked about the issue and again was told to wait a couple hours because the hotel's permanent tenants were all getting home from work and showering and there was only a 50 gallon water heater for the entire hotel. At 7 AM we went to the lobby for the free breakfast however the lights were off inside and the door was locked. Again at 9AM when we were ready to leave the lobby was empty and the door locked. Called the after hours number posted on the door multiple times with no answer. Had to return at 11AM to return the room key. Security deposit of $100 was refunded 48 hours after check out.Nearby activities: Close to dinosaur world and other tourist attractions. Not in a very appealing part of town.

Our stay was great. It was exactly what we were looking for- clean and inexpensive. The bathroom fixers were new, the carpet was new, and it was recently painted. If you want a place to comfortably lay your head, this is a great choice. If you want to be pampered, this isn't for you.Carrie at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure.

Our apartment caught fire in nearby city a few days before Christmas. Having 3 small dogs and stuck in a bad situation we were at a loss. We stayed a few weeks at this motel. Place was very clean and accommodating. Staff very friendly and responsive to our requests. Quiet area of town. I'm a medical professional and cleanliness is my utmost importance, with that being said I did not see any remanance of bugs or of previous guests. I enjoyed my stay and will suggest this facility to anyone needing lodging. Thank you Oyo team for making a rough time in our life a little better. Best wis es.Rooms: Clean quiet rooms.

I made a mistake. They in fact did refund me and I completely missed it on my bank statement. I'd like to apologize for accusing anyone of theft.That being said since this is still a review... its a $50 hotel room. You get what you pay for. The rooms aren't the cleanest and the bed isn't the best, sheets not the softest. But it did fine for a grown man and his service dog for a few hours.

I have been at this motel for the past 4 weeks. A few days before Christmas my apartment complex burned down. I have 3 med-small dogs. At the time of our arrival the place was nice and friendly but as time went along I began to see why there was a low rating at this facility. The first thing was there was no chairs or a trash can or microwave in the room we requested these items and all we got was a tiny 1 gallon trash can and a very older model microwave that doesn't work properly. I was able to look past this. Then last week it was reported to us that there was a noise complaint which was not us but the two psycho methheads that were staying 2 doors down. Never did anyone apologize for the accusations. Each week we seen the price of the room increase. The front door is always locked and you have to ring doorbell in hopes that someone is there to answer. There was no wifi reception in the rooms and we were told that they got wifi boosters to assist but still there is no wifi signal currently at this moment there is a 12 year old guest sitting by the front office door in the Cold with his computer just to pick up wifi. And for the last 3 days there has not been any hot water something about changing the water heater. My fiance even got tired of the random cigarette butts in the grassy area that he requested a rake and too the liberty to rake the complex because we can't stand to live in filth. I frequently see one lady who works there that trys her best to assist with what she has to offer. But it too much for one individual to handle. I currently have no choice but to stay here because of my housing situation but as far as anyone who has a choice as to where to stay please reconsider. I am not a mean or vengeful person but I demand better treatment especially if I am paying $300-$350 per week for a simple place to stay after losing everything we own in a house fire.

Most comfortable bed I found in Kentucky extremely friendly staff tvs could be bigger but I wasn t really there to watch tv close to some really good local food if I m ever back in the area it will be where I stay againNearby activities: Caves parks antique shopping there s actually a lot of stuff right in that areaFood & drinks: One bar in town best bbq spud I ever had extremely good pizza on main the Mexican restaurants are really good and two Texas girls was good with some of the best bbq sauce I ve ever tasted

The room was very clean and presentable.staff was very kind and professional. The whole atmosphere of the motel was really nice.would definitely recommend to anyone needing a motel room to stay at country side motel Rooms: Rooms are clean and newly remodeled.Nearby activities: There's a lot of caves to explore, dinasour world, Kentucky down under, Mammoth cave,guntown mountain, escape rooms, there is Definitely plenty of things to do locally.Walkability: It's small town so you can walk to stores, restaurants,parks etcFood & drinks: Plenty of restaurants around town have a lot of choices.

I m a resident of cave city ky. There s motels here and I m here to tell you, most of the hotels are full of bed bugs. Bed bugs are bad all over cave city. Even in apartments. So, the older motels are full of them and run down and roach haven as well. Some with fleas. The comfort inn and suites by McDonald s was remodeled after the 2022 tornado nearly ripped it off its foundation. It was damaged badly. Now, it s repaired and remodeled, it might pay to use this hotel. It s near restaurants like Cracker Barrel. Great restaurant and great food. Nice quiet town.

Ok so first thin was there's no Mini fridge so I couldn't have cold drinks the wifi is really weak to the point where my phone didn't even pick it up and the shower gets cold really fast and there's no coffee maker in the room the TV only got about 20 channels and they charged me a 100 dollar deposit so I'd say it was a bad experience all aroundRooms: Not worth the time do your self a favor find something better

Down right terrible! The beds were full of bugs, carpet from 1950 s with blood stains on it. Other peoples hair everywhere and it included dirty towels! I m from Flint MI and i can tell you our pay by the hour motels are not even close to how bad this place is!!! Do yourself a favor and travel a little further North and you will find Horse Cave Motel and it s way way nicer and no bugs!Rooms: Herpes and Hepatitis for sure definitely getting E. coli!!!! STAY AWAY this place needs a health inspection done ASAP!!! Smells incredibly strange!Safety: No safety

Don't waste your time or energy. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot you could tell that this is definitely not a place for a family. My husband and I were looking to stay for the night because we were traveling and we seen that the prices were cheap. We never imagined the horror that would soon follow once we pulled into the parking lot. We could not get help from the front desk whatsoever we had to call the person in charge. When we called they said that the reservation we had made did not exist in their system and not only was the guy very rude and unprofessional but he also not only threatened my husband but he threatened me as well. And don't even get me started about the hotel itself it was very ran down, something that you would find in a horror movie. You can tell by looking at it that it was very unsanitary. If your looking for a safe place to stay for the night this is definitely not the place to be. There were very loud and rude individuals camped out outside of their motel rooms playing very loud music. So I ask you to reconsider before booking. My husband and I will no longer be using the Oyo app or staying in anything affiliated with oyo. This was the absolute worst hotel experience of our lives. Luckily enough we lost no money due to their lack of competence. My only regret is we did not read the reviews before we considered trying to stay there. Reading the reviews we can only hope that this place gets shut down before someone catches diseases or goes home with bed bugs. Good luck if you actually consider staying there.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM ! THEY STOLE OUR MONEY ! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!I HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS WITH BBB !!THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY !!This place is TERRIBLE !! THEY TOOK OUR MONEY ! THEN TRIED TO.CHARGE US.A $500 . DEPOSIT ! THEY STILL HAVENT REFUNDED OUR.MONEY ! ITS BEEN OVER A WEEK AGO ! THE MOTELS THEY USE ARE TERRIBLE ! BAD BAD SERVICE ! DO NOT USE APP !.

We stayed and paid for 2 nights. We're ate up by bedbugs in room 110 the 1st night and even after the office/cleaning Kady seen them and my arms refused to move us to another room and ate up again the 2cd night. We had no money to go anywhere else. She brought in flea spray and sprayed the baseboards around the room!!! That doesn't work on bedbugs. OYO should refund our money as the Indian motel owner refuses to do so . Ridiculous. DO NOT STAY THERE.Rooms: Room 10 where we stayed were filled with bed bugs and they would not change rooms. Finally the manager said the only available room was one at the end that had a TV that ya had to plug up when ya wanted it in and volumn didn't work on the remote for the TV and was blaring loud. This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

I booked a room through the Oyo app. It was a good deal it go canceled so I called to confirm the lady on the phone rebooked said it was canceled due a price increase but she fix. It was one of the fe pet friendly places. At first we couldn't find it the sign is for the country side inn. Gps is wrong. We pulled up a bunch of people sitting around a fire the guy goes oh we don't have vaccnacies we told we had a room reservd not the case. Super rude and unprofessional. Do you not pay in advance if you book here as you could be stuck waiting for a refund. Like a soon as you pull up it looks bad

This is not worth your stay ! We got charged twice ! There is nothing but a tv and bed no chairs . My husband is staying a week and it s awful. There is only one outlet you can use and that s it all others are taped up . He forgot his soap and the hotel soap will not lather it s like wax. Not a good place to stay at all walls are paper thin you get no rest.

Booked on hotels.com and paid in advance. Pictures are nothing like the rooms and I wish I had read the reviews ahead of time. Google takes you to a house. It is in fact the comfort inn behind a funeral home. The only sign that it is OYO is a paper sign on the front door. When we checked in the son got his mom who said she hates her job. Oh sorry to interrupt your chat sessions. When checking me in she asked if I REALLY needed 2 beds. I booked two beds for a reason and said yes. She said she didn't have any but if I came back in 20 mins the room would be ready. We had been driving for 10 hours so we went to get food and came back. Given the key and walked in. There was a futon and one bed. We decide to just go with it as we are exhausted and I had brought a blanket and pillow from home. ( the futon was bare ) The futon was on a wood frame and you could feel every board. The towels were stained and there was only one. Again there were 2 of us. The carpet was gross and the pictures online nothing like the rooms. We are from Detroit and Milwaukee and the area did not feel safe. None of the other hotels I reserved asked for a credit card and she photocopied it so now I need to watch it for charges based on other reviews I have read. We packed back up as fast as we could and left to another hotel on our journey. At this rate they can keep my 50$ they apparently need it worse than I do. I am glad I didn't get bed bugs like other reviewers. Definitely meth heads in the rooms and there was arguing in the parking lot.

UPDATE !!!!!!!!! Terrible Terrible Terrible experience with customer service. Motel manager reaches out gave me a refund on the accidentally incorrect booked room date .............I can't make this up ............$0.04These rooms are this cheap for a reason people

Thank God for my gutFeelingThese scammers were trying to pressure me to put a deposit on the room via text linkshouted in broken English/ India accent DO NOT HANG UP THE PHONE SIR make the deposit saying the rooms are selling out fast and may or may not be available and u get five dollar discount for doing it right now on the text link in my mind (HOLY SPIRIT) I knew that some thing was just not right so literally kept him on the phone for 20 minutes while I drove over there and the place is closed and I m knocked on the door in the the office, and the scammer that I was speaking with came to the door LOL, he says no all of our rooms are closed for renovation I told him that somebody on the phone is trying to take my money, immediately the scammer hung up and the man disappeared into his back room LOL what a scam, sad, pathetic lowlife!

Did not stay here.Checked in, went to room, all lights were on, TV was on & volume was blasting, no remote available to turn TV off. Bathroom door was shut & light on, seemed someone was inside room. Blankets & linens from previous lodgers left in a pile on futon. Bed in main room was unmade.Pictures posted by business are definitely not an accurate reflection of this business.Promptly left room & returned to office & gave key back to front desk clerk Lindsey while explaining condition of room. She offered refund & called manager. Manager was advised of situation by Lindsey, who then conveyed only General Manager, Sunni, could & would refund charges for room. Inquired when refund would be processed & was told monies would be refunded within 5 business days.Over 2 months later, no refund, & no response from numerous inquiries to this establishment.DO NOT STAY HERE!WHAT A DUMP!

THIS PLACE WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! if you imagine a horror film about a shady run down motel it s even worse than that. There was no refrigerator, tv remote, or towels, no hand or body soap, STAINS of who knows what all over the walls, floors, and bed. Bed clearly has not been made and there was crumbs and stains on the sheets. Dirty walls and cobwebs everywhere. idk if the spider booked a room or i did. cigarette burns in the pillow. People were about yelling all night and walking around. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
