If you re lucky your truck don t break down near by this shop they will keep you waiting hours for little repair to add more hours and get as much money as they can .I hope I never break down near by!! even if I breakdown near by I prefer to be towed to truck center MT Vernon IL could be cheaper .couple test for my DEF system they charge me 1429 dollars real robbery -5 five stars STAY AWAY from this chief s

Truly the best people, they saved the day for us last minute. I had an after hours favor I needed for one of my drivers, I spoke to a lovely lady named Linda in the office who assisted in helping us out, and we couldn't be more pleased! Highly recommend doing business with them! - Sierra RDX, LLC

We had a driver come by there and he wanted to make sure that you guys received credit for being exemplary. He lost a pin and would have lost his stack without it . He was driven across the street by an employee and they even helped get everything sorted until he was fully taken care of. He stated that you guys wouldn't accept payment for the help but just gave him a hard time about his Peterbilt ! LOL! Bennett Family of Companies wants to thank you for taking care of our Ray ! We will be sure to send our guys that way if they need anything out that way !

Had two fuel filters replaced. Should have been done in about 30 minutes or less but they put down 1.5 hours labor at $180 dollars an hour. They must have started charging hourly as soon as I checked in. Took them awhile just to get it in the shop. Total cost was $345 and some change. Bill was settled with my company and I still waited for about another 20 minutes or so before they let me know it was ready and that s only because I called them out on it. Would not recommend them unless it s an absolute must. I ll call someone else the next time I need something. Would give 0 stars if I could but that s not an option.

Had some DPF issues, they got me diagnosed, repaired, and out the door in less than 24 hours. Fyi...i showed up about an hour before close of business, that what took so long. They had the parts i needed the next morning by 10am.

Be sure 2 book 1 of the hotels nearby, because you'll be there 4 a week if your not on top of them 2 do the job. A lot of miscommunication between staff. Just glad 2 finally leave 2day. Hope there's no more issues. Clutch work was done & sensor.

Came in just before noon on Friday with Def issues, repairs done and out in just a few hours. Cost less than original estimate. Highly recommend.

After they changed alternator belt I drove 30 miles then broke belt which is they replaced then I spent extra 2000 for towing and for another supplements

I wish I can give ZERO stars.They replaced starter on my Cascadia in October. After about 20 days, the voltage dropped while driving. I thought it was the alternator and went to the nearest shop in Chicago area. They checked the batteries, the alternator and found that the starter was poorly mounted, crosstreaded on positive stud, cables were loose and arking out. I had to replace starter again and it was much cheaper than in Tag truck center. I spoke with the manager, and he told me to send invoices. I sent two emails with both invoices, Tag's invoice was 1200$ with driveline instalation included(80$) and the new invoice from the shop in Chicago 750$, with explanation that the "old" one was installed poorly. No one ever answered me.

Very bad experience I have with Tag truck center. Went for a water pump leakage, later on they call me that truck has radiator crack too. There was no leakage from radiator, we checked where is the leakage before gave the truck for repair. Then we asked to check the fuel gauge- wasn t working . We got charge for diagnostic 544 which usually should not take more then half an hour. They change some parts on the fuel tank, gauge still is not working. For radiator and labour with our parts-water pump and radiator they charge us 3382.50 labour. Officially they work for 165 an hour. That means 20 hours labour to change water pump and radiator. Shame, robbers!!!!

We had the miss fortune to breakdown, the water pump, right near this dealership. It ended up being great good fortune. Had to wait over night for parts next morning. We were aloud to spend the night there in our truck. Everybody in service and parts was extremely pleasant and competent. We got out of there the next afternoon for a fairly reasonable price. Of course the parts are expensive, i have a Caterpillar, but they were not more expensive than anywhere else. I am a cranky old owner operator. I do most of the work on the truck myself. If i need a repair done in the future i would bring it here if i am in the area. All in all it was a somewhat painless breakdown experience. Thank TAG Truck Center.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I broke down early Monday morning, arrived before they opened, checked in when they did, and they immediately put my truck in the shop. I will admit, I was skeptical, I drive a Kenworth and this being a Freightliner/Western Star dealership. They worked diligently on my truck, and kept me informed of what was going on. Very nice place, very nice and courteous people. Very nice drivers lounge, even a shower if you need. They had a lunch for employees, and even invited me to eat with them. I highly recommend this place. Great people.

Husband needed a part they had. He was broke down in Joplin. They allowed him to pay for the part and hold it over the phone so I could pick it up and deliver it to Joplin. Otherwise he was looking at 2 months of downtime. We really appreciated their efforts. Thanks guys

My company organized a recall. I live 75 miles away. Was told the parts for 1 recall were on national back order. Came in on Monday morning truck never touched the shop. Tuesday mid to late morning truck goes into shop and at 1300 they said that parts showed up. Which is fine. Problem #2 is a new hire and I was told inexperienced mechanic was on it. When I seen truck out of shop I went to check to see what's going on. Told me they had to QC the repairs. Now I was told the mechanic broke a drill bit on the exhaust recall and asked if I wanted to leave and haven't done elsewhere. Why was truck pulled out of shop when job was not done correctly. To me that is shady and bad business. This place has a major issue with communication and 1st come first serve. It might be no big deal to them but for me it is. I would never recommend tag freightliner in calvert city to anybody. Bad business. Drivers lounge is filthy. You halft to stay on top of them every hour to get stuff done.

Top notch from start to finish! Check in was easy and professional. The problem diagnosis was quick, and right on. Repairs were quick and very professional. Everything was under warranty but the customer service was exceptional and I would definitely recommend this place!

Went in for a pm and to have them run the overhead. Called to check on progress 7hrs later and was told it was done but, I would need to have the oil pan gasket replaced on the next service due to it was leaking. Really, is this not something to take care of before you release the truck to the customer? I would have gladly paid to have it taken care of at the time. Now I'm told it will cost another $600 plus parts to replace. What a way to do business. Never again.P.S. tried to contact them via there website and it would not let me send them an email.

Was one the slowest places for repairs!! DSV truck set here for three days just to get two hose clamps and two small sensors replaced. We never use their facility again!! I also notice that they only respond to those who left a positive comment. Nice to know they care enough to address the bad issues they have!!

Got DEF pump replaced here today,truck arrived at 10:48 am local time and waited till 12:50 to get into bay,pump replaced and truck got out of bay 1:51pm,which should be exact one hour that took to replace pump,bill shows $748.80 just for labor!!I dont understand this,guy we paid to seemed to be confused and told me if i need to discuss bill I had to wait for service supervisor who wasnt there??3 stars cause they did it fast.Be aware!!

Very professional, second time here and the service staff couldn't be any nicer. On my second visit, was able to point out problems after 'repairs' were made and they took my truck back in for additional service.

Truck degeneration worked on it didn't have 1 part they went out of the way to get it and the mechanic stayed and installed it. Great service and friendly staff.
