We ve used plenty of repair shops in the area. After buying our car used for a pretty penny from an auto dealership, we were pouring thousands into it per their warranty. Diagnostic alone was $150. This time we assumed we needed a new starter and decided to lose our warranty and took our vehicle to steeles. Not only did they get us in quickly on a Saturday, but found the problem even quicker. Didn t try to upsell us or find a million other things wrong. They fixed what they could, did the research for us for the part they know we needed. And had us back on the road before noon, for a fraction of the cost. If that s not service, idk what is. So thankful my neighbor recommended them. Will continue to do the same.

Amazingly great for a repair shop. They definitely seem to have the customers wallet in mind and seem to offer the quickest, most economical solution first, even if temporary, they let you know ahead of time though. Went in expecting a whole new tire, they plugged it for me so I could get my tasks for the day out of the way and then focus on finding a new tire. Will definitely be using them again in the near future for both of my vehicles. Thanks Steele!!

2021 I had an alternator go out. I was charged 5 hours labor at a rate of 115.00 per hour. I just replaced the alternator again the mechanic charged me 1.5 hours of labor. I called and discussed this with Gary why such a difference in labor time. He couldnt give me a valid reason. I'm a small business owner with several delivery vans that work in the area. I would not advise using this garage, I would love to discuss this with the owner feel free to call me.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Fixed my thermostat service was better priced than any other services offered from any competitor around. Fixed right and timely. I definitely know where I'll be getting my car care needs done from now on.

Picked up our Dodge 1500 today - Steele's is one of the most professional shops I've ever visited! The staff is knowledgeable and professional. Work was done timely at a fair price. I highly recommend!

Great service. Love the crew here at Steele's. They're always honest and upfront about everything and do a great job doing the work the right way the first time. No cut corners here. I will definitely be using this shop for years to come.

we love gary at hometown steel. He and his crew always takes care of all of our Vehicles .That's why all of our fleet stays on the road between Service.because we let John steel garage, Hometown steel in Burlington Kentucky.EVERYONE should go there if you want good Service and good price.thank you for loving me.Biscuit and Family

This is a 3 month update. Steele's installed a leveling kit on my 2017 GMC. Work was completed as promised, no issues and the truck definitely looks better. I will reach out to Steele's for future upgrades. Thank you.

Excellent service, Gary is very friendly and knowledgeable about automotive repairs, I just moved here from New Mexico and I have dealt with him twice in the past week my Colorado will not go anywhere else for repairs.

Got a new wheel bearing pressed on to my hub from these guys. After charging me $75 (normally 30$ elsewhere) I put it all back together wheel was wobbly. Koi gave me a new bearing and I bought a new hub.Took to different machine shop. The hub and bearing we're both fine. Was done incorrectly.Alot of wasted time, car down time, and my time figuring all that out. What a joke. I know where not to go now. $130 later plus the 75$ I gave them.Call it $205 wasted plus my car down for a couple days... Just learn how to do your job!!!

Guy on the phone got upset when I asked if they did Military Discounts. Visiting family and need 4 new tires and even told them military discount doesn t matter. Typical redneck shop

I went to get an oil change in my car and they even let me bring my own oil. They replaced the oil and the filter on my car very swiftly and it was very affordable

Rotated my tires but failed to check the air pressure. Worked on my brakes but failed to put the bleeder caps back on the calipers.
