I was on a road trip passing through Kentucky when my check engine light came on and my car was shaking and barely moving forward. We were almost stranded. We took my car to Tech Tune the next morning and even though they were very busy with other cars, they were kind enough to squeeze us in last minute. The car runs well, excellent timely service, fair prices, and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

I'm truly disappointed in these guys. I've been going here for years, and normally, I would have nothing but good to say. But that has changed. I brought my truck in to check my air conditioning. They filled it with freon and die to check for leaks. They called and said that they couldn't find a leak, so I picked it up. Not 15 minutes later, I was blowing hot air. I brought it back, and they charged me an additional $65 to find the leak. That's what I paid for the first time. Smh, Then I brought my Mercedes for a oil change. They told me it took some high dollar oil and charged my $200. I looked at the receipt, and I was charged $65 service charge. There's no difference in how they change the oil than any other vehicle, so why an extra $65? Because it's a Benz. TNT only charges $100 for the same oil change. I think I'm done going here. Sorry.

This place is a must go to! I have a 2014 ford explorer that needed a whole new AC compressor, condenser, and much much more. Brian and Bud provided the best customer service experience that I have ever received. They got my car in to diagnose, gave me a very reasonable quote and got my vehicle in the next day. I dropped my car off at 7:30 am and they stayed past closing to make sure me and my children had transportation through the weekend since they were closed. Then there was a problem we had missed, they were more than glad to get me back in, and fix the problem with no questions. I know I had called at least 1000 times to check on the progress because I constantly worry and they politely answered every-time, and answered all of my questions happily. If the prices arnt a good enough reason for you to go to them, Bud and Brian s customer service and work ethic should be! Highly recommend and will be coming back for all my vehicle needs!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair

My dad and I used Tech Tune to inspect our vehicles for a trip we were taking across the country. We were very much looking forward to our trip but unfortunately we had to cut a lot of amenities out because they managed to charge me over $3,000.00 in fixes. A lot of the repairs felt like they were unnecessary and made up. One of the major ones I know was from a screw up because the part was fine before I took it there. Additionally, once I had received the receipt back, I discovered that they had completed a number of repairs I know I told them not to do. If that wasn't enough, after being thoroughly screwed by this place financially, one of my wheels started making a loud rolling noise during my trip. I got out to discover that a lug nut had fallen off of my wheel and was rumbling in my wheel cover. Three others were completely stripped and the rest were barely hanging on. I had to limp my Jeep over to the nearest shop that was open and pray to God that they'd be able to get me in before they closed (luckily they did). I can't express how much I would advise you to not go here!

Way overpriced!! They charge more than a dealership!! Called them and asked if they could change my inner tie rod, they said yes and quoted me 365$ including alignment and when i went there they said they would have to do their own inspection which they charge you 35$ so they did! After an inspection they said my both inner and outer tied rods were damaged and both needs to be replaced and it was going to cost me almost 600$ and it just way too much for me! So long story short, my mechanic friend today remove the tie rods, and guess what?! Outer rod was just fine, as you can see it on picture inner tie rod is bent, and this is the only part we are replacing!! Never going back to this place

Easy appointment scheduling. Lots of communication during the diagnosis with what work was done and its outcome. The cost was better than expected. My car broke down while being out of town with my family, stranded, and not knowing who turn to. It was recommended that I go to this business, and my van was taken care of properly. The company was very professional, The price was very competitive I would recommend this company 1000%

Honest people. Man called around 5:10 and walked me through what my trucks problem is. Talked to me for 11 mins( I seen on call log) Iv already sent to 3 other places and I have used a couple of them many times getting my truck ready to paint and none of them wouldv took the time(especially that long)to explain any of it to me. Iv also always heard these guys know their stuff. They won't do meaningless work and if something has to be replaced or done before they will address the issue u have should tell people that they doing things right and by the book. Most let Lil things slide and I use those guys. But these guys are gonna get done and right. So if u need to bank on something being done right and up to spec these are the people u need to see. May not be cheapest but iv come to learn I get what I pay for when comes to my older truck. I imagine the new models be easier to deal with

Tech Tune is the only mechanic shop I would trust and recommend with my vehicles. They always go above and beyond to help, never pressure you into choosing an option you may or not want or be able to afford, and are very patient when explaining issues and solutions with less-than-knowledgeable customers (aka, me). They re straight forward and always willing to help any way they can, even to go as far as giving professional recommendations and opinions on reputable car dealerships and rebuilt titles. Bud even did me the huge favor of helping me reveal the gender of our second baby to my husband! Although I don t know everyone in the shop by name, I do know that they are all trustworthy and truly honest when it comes to the safety of your vehicle! 11/10, way to go Tech Tune! I highly recommend Tech-Tune. Jimmy s father, as I understand it, started the business and now Jimmy owns and operates the business. I never expected the owner to be the guy working on my vehicle at this caliber establishment!! He sends you a detailed report with pictures to help you better understand what work is needed! Some people have complained about his prices in reviews I have read.. you pay for what you get and I want top notch guaranteed service when I pay hard earned money and that is what I have gotten every time! nothing but the best from Jimmy.I also use the quick oil change service as well, good oil and quick reliable service

Exceptional service. I have been getting oil changes at Tech Tune for over ten years and have always been happy with them, but today they went above and beyond. I had an oil leak that it turned out was caused by a loose oil filter from my last oil change. This has never happened and they were very apologetic for the mistake, so to make up for it they gave me this oil change free of charge, and gave me some free cleaning fluid to clean the oil spill in my garage.On top of all that, the whole staff wore masks and gloves my entire visit. At a time when some businesses are very lax in COVID-19 precautions, they are doing things right.

After taking my truck to a local competitor, I was charged for an alignment and sent away with my truck pulling to the right. I took it to Tech Tune based off of a coworker s recommendation. It didn t take long for them to find an alignment pin that was missing. They performed the work, and sent me updates via text, including detailed pictures of my truck, issues they found, and estimates of the cost. Very professional! Now it rides like a new truck! Thanks to Bud and Jimmy for a job well done!

While on Fall Break, my son had an issue with his car and took it to Tech Tune. Service writer, Lee, spoke with me several times (I tend to ask a lot of questions) and took time to explain the reason for the oil leak. Diagnosis by their technician, John, was accurate and completed in a timely manner. I forgot to mention that this was a BMW and not all repair shops work on them. I highly recommend Tech Tune to everyone! The professionalism shown by their employees was second to none. Their honesty and fairness goes a long way in the auto repair industry. I will be telling everyone to call them the next time they need auto repair. Lee and John will definitely take care of your vehicle.

The staff and mechanics were very professional and timely. They didn't play games like a lot of auto shops. They told me their recommendations and weren't pushy. Got my truck running like new in a about a day from drop off. Bud and the master technicians at Tech Tune really came through for us during a road trip. Not only were they able to quickly source the parts we needed, but they also fit us in on VERY short notice and knocked out the work in a matter of hours. We were also impressed with their work place -office and garage bays seemed spotless, everything is organized and they are incredibly professional. I wanted a quick oil change on my lunch break. It was a few bucks more than I'm used to paying, but they got to me immediately and didn't try to sell me an air filter for $40 or tell me I needed a new battery for no reason. Priceless! Yes, they are very overpriced! But, they are nice, work pretty fast, and have always solved my problems. My car was overheating last July and i could get it worked on until September. They had it fixed in just a couple days because they had to order the parts for it but it had 4 busted heater hoses. Not to mention the last time I went in there about my air they were up and honest about what was wrong with my car that Midas had messed up. Unfortunately because of the maintenance price I can t get it fixed so I have no air but they temporarily fixed it for me. It only lasted 2 days but it was nice that they tried temporarily fixing it for me. But I have never had a problem with them. Tech tune is the place to go in BG!

They have been changing my oil for years and have always gotten great service. They always treat me right. One time I wasn't sure if my brakes were going. They checked them, no work was needed and there was no charge. Other places would have taken advantage but not them. Quality and honest service is what I go for all day long.

A great place to go to if you want to get screwed. Dropped my car off at 3 pm, get a call 30 minutes later that they need to change my cabin air filter and engine air filter, among other things. Only problem is both of those I ve changed myself and have less than 2000 miles on them. Don t let them screw you and convince you it s a good price, I m sure if they reply to this they ll say it s honest work worth the money, but it isn t. I went to pick up my vehicle from them at 4 pm, the same day I dropped it off, and my vehicle hadn t moved from Where it was at at 3 pm.

Always great. Being so far away they make sure to answer all questions, provide alternatives if available and precise recommendations. Their payment system is easy for someone being 1500 miles away and they treat my parents with respect. They help ease the worry that comes with caring for elderly parents knowing my folks will get a fair shake. They are always sympathetic and understanding which is refreshing.

Ive been talking my personal vehicles, as well as my company fleet, to Tech Tune for some time now. To date, I have have vehicles serviced here at least 20 to 30 times for basic repairs to major ones. On at least one occasion they turned down working on my car because they knew there was an extended service bulletin by the manufacturer that would fix it for free. Other locations have done the work and charged for it under the same scenario. They are honest and fast. All of their work is warranted and they stand by that warranty. I've had my catalytic converter replaced twice under warranty with no cost to me for parts or labor. The issue was with the OEM converter itself and not due to the work performed. I will continue to use this repair shop for all my vehicles.

I took my car here for them to fix what was important so they did that I paid 1000+ dollars for repairs and literally a week after I got it out it started smoking ,shaking really bad and not driving over 65 mph. It seems like it s way worse then before I put the car in their hands. Theyre way over priced for the quality of their work. Wouldn t recommend unless you like having to pay for repairs every week. Then they were rushing me to pay and rude when I couldnt at The moment. One of the workers lied on the owner said the owner said I have to pay such amount now then I spoke with the owner jimmy and he said he never had such conversation with that worker!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Friendly and fast! They performed an oil change on my class c motorhome quicker and for much less money than previous oil changes. Everyone was so friendly as well. Highly recommend them and will be back next time I m in the area.

Today 3 Stars is charitable. I have been going to Tech Tube 10+ years. They are expensive but very thorough. Today the men in the bay were not the usuals. I sat at the bay doors and they did not open the door- they just stood there looking at me. Could it be that it was 4:30 pm..... I has to actually park and go in the store to ask if they were still open for oil changes which they were. As I was speaking w the desk the same men stood in the bay looking st me as if confused. Typically when I pull up one or other of the bay doors open and I pull in. I will not have my oil changed here again unless Chris is there. He always is professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. After today, I also will not use the mechanic department either. The customer service gave me little confidence as in the past.
