These guys are great. I had an airbag light on for a long time. I left the car at tech-tune twice (paid $64 each time) and they said they need to keep my car and check all the wires and computers ( around $1000 labor) to figure out the problem, which I rejected because I knew it couldn t be that serious. Then I took the car to Huntsman and they were able to erase the error from my airbag module in less than five minutes and turn off the airbag light forever. They didn t even charge me for their good service. I highly recommend the Huntsman automotive.

they will fix everything but the biggest problems so you will be forced to feed them another $700 and wait until next week. I sent my car in and waited a week for them to even see it then it took them 4 days to get a estimate. once I got it back I was super exited for my car to be running at top notch but no... the alternator is still screeching and my car is still running weak. never will I go to huntsman auto again I'm out $706 for a battery heater hose and serp belt.... $312 in labor is ridiculous for the biggest problems to not even be fixed. -5 stars. I'm actually so upset. you guys should give me my battery back and take this diehard one back then change my alternator like needed but i know you wont... ;[

I cannot speak highly enough about this shop! They've taken care of me multiple times and this time didn't even charge me and said happy new year! Sometimes it can take a while cause they're so busy but I won't go anywhere else!

Got there to get an alignment on my truck & while the wait was longer than I would've liked for it to be, the work done was great & the price was unbeatable!

I would not recommend this place.I dropped my car off a week ago for a oil control solenoid replacement that I was told was only going to take a day or two to fix from when it was dropped off. This replacement costed $580, and took the betterment of a week to do. Employee D. was extremely helpful through this process. Upon receiving my car, there was a major oil leak which I called back about because the leak was not there before I took my car in. They insisted it way my fault which is impossible, I didn't even have my car for 10 minutes before i notived the leak and like I said earlier this was not an issue before I brought it in.They reached out to me yesterday with a quote of $630 to replace a valve cover gasket from employee T. to whom was continuing to insist that the matter was my fault. I told them that this makes no sense and that I cannot pay that, especially since they are the ones who made the leak.This is the breakdown of the invoice:Labor: 5+ hours (this is insane)Parts: $40-50Delivery: $10I may be forgetting some things.I picked up my car this morning. It is still leaking oil but atleast I know from where. Employee D. was helpful with this and gave a discount of $50. I did not get my issue resolved and my car is arguably in a similarly worse condition than it was before.I doubt they are like this all the time, but beware incase.For reference my car is a red 2017 camaro.Service: Oil change

Called in Monday with a check engine light. They diagnosed the problem and I said I'd drop my truck off early Friday morning which I did. I was told the repairs would be completed that day (along with an oil change and tyre rotation which I called about the day before). When I called at 3pm I was told they hadn't even looked at it yet. I picked the truck up at 4.45 and only the oil had been changed and was told the sensor required was a week out on order. Seems strange that they knew what was required and when I was coming in but hadn't planned for it. Total day wasted.

Really nice workers and service was great, their prices were reasonable. They are super busy and do not take appointments so you need to be there when they open if you want to wait on your car otherwise be prepared to leave it for the day.

Botched my front end alignment. Wore 2 tires down to the cords on the inside. Price was good but work was questionable.

Honest, good mechanics.If you're wondering where to get your car fixed in Bowling Green, just take it here. We were on a cross country road trip. Car (2011 Camaro)started running rough, check engine light, traction control failure and more. Huntsman could have REALLY taken advantage and thrown parts and time at it, and been expensive! Instead the mechanic tracked the problem to a short in the wiring. Same day fix, and for less than the price of a tank of gas (at least in CA).

They do good work and always seem to be honest. All car repairs seem high these days but you at least won't leave here feeling like you've been had.

These guys keep it real. The service is friendly, informative, and helpful, and they don t pressure you with a laundry list of bs like other mechanic shops do. They re not just in it for the money they re actually here to help you. The two black cats that live there are a bonus, if you re a cat person like me.

Huntsman is an absolutely incredible automotive shop. The team is very kind, helpful, and educated.I got a starter replaced for an extremely great price with a two year warranty. About a week after getting it replaced, my car would not start again; so they provided a wrecker to tow it back to the shop, replaced the starter (which was faulty straight out of the box) at no cost, and fixed some other issues. After having my car back for two days the second time, my car would not start again. I called them, and they were very nice and apologetic. They provided a tow truck once again, and it ended up being a battery issue this time due to the dome light being left on. They replaced a couple parts at no cost and had my car ready the next day.They never had my car for more than two days. If I could provide more than a 5 star rating, I would. I am beyond pleased with my experience with Huntsman and would recommend them to everyone.

Girlfriend went to Kroger while I was out of town. Her car with a 5 year old battery wouldn t start. Vehicles aren t her line of work and she was in a hurry. She ended up getting jumped off and went to Huntsman. They told her that she needed a new battery and alternator. I drove home late that night and got there the next morning, they quoted me nearly $1k to replace the alternator and battery. They didn t even see what the car would do with a new battery I took the battery out, went to auto zone across the road, got a new battery, the car started right up with no issues. Took the car to auto zone to have the alternator tested, and everything they did checked out fine. No alternator needed.Crooked people running a crooked place that looks to take advantage of people who don t know a lot about vehicles. Don t take your business here.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had an appointment scheduled for 2pm and was running about five minutes behind, so I called to clarify that. Upon arrival, I sat in the waiting room and at the 30 minute mark, no one had even looked at my car yet. In a nutshell, I spent the remainder of my day sitting in an auto shop. I sat waiting for a total of 3 hours. The mechanic basically told me that there wasn t a ton that he could do about my particular complaint, but he would give it a shot. Another 30 minutes later I m told that he started working on the issue but would need to order a kit to complete the job. All of this to say, the repairs would cost around $200.00. This seems a bit extensive for the particular complaint I came in with. Today, as I m driving around, the wheel that was worked on is squeaking and making noise now more so than it initially was. I reached out to huntsman because of the overall good reviews. With that being said, this was a highly disappointing experience.

I called and set up an appointment to have my ac repaired, as well as get a second quote for an engine repair and to have my breaks checked as it had been a while since they had been checked.The quickest they could get me in was about 3 or 4 days which is fine and understandable. I scheduled for a full week out to line up with my day off, and they offered the 8 a.m. time slot.I show up and drop off my car at 8 am, the person working the desk said that someone would look at my car and get a quote to me in about an hour or two. At the 10:30 I called to check on my car. They said it hadn't been brought back but it was next to get checked out. Which is fine I understand that things get behind. At approximately 1 pm after not hearing anything I call back. They said that the mechanic went to lunch and would be looking at it when they got back. At about 3 they called me back with a quote that included new break pads and rotors, and that if they started right now they could finish by the end of the day.At 5 they did have the AC fixed and the pads and rotors replaced. But when I asked to see the pads and rotors and have them show me why they needed to be replaced the responses I got were unsatisfactory at best. One mechanic showed me the rotors that were taken off and said "the person who worked on your car already left, I can't say why they needed to be replaced I didn't work on the car" another mechanic said "the old pads weren't to the squealers yet". Which to me would indicate that I wouldn't need new rotors. And neither of the two mechanics there could tell me, or showing me on my old rotors why they needed to be replaced.The people who I talked to were very nice. But the service I received was less than satisfactory. Not getting my car even looked at till nearly 7 hours past the time I scheduled, no one being able to show me what was actually messed up with my rotors, and they were unable to determine the cause of my check engine light being on.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys know their stuff and are honest. Rare these days. Took my truck to other major shops and they couldn't figure it out. Huntsman fixed right on up. I took back since for regular maintenance and they also very fair prices. Great place to take your vehicle and service can't be beat. They have high ratings already and lived up to everyone of them

We were having some car problems while on vacation. Called in the morning and was told they could look at my car the same day. I have never been in and out of a mechanic so quickly. The guys were even patient as my 3 year old chased around their cats. These guys are awesome! It only took about 2 hours to have my car repaired, and they are very affordable.

Took my car in for a front end alignment while I was out of state. Turns out it just needed the tires rotated and alignment was fine- no charge!!!Hats off to these guys, they could have easily charged me but the were SO honest. I will use them for all my car repairs!!

I can t say enough good things about these guys. To begin with their estimate was half of what the dealership wanted to replace an alternator. They could have just told me that I needed a new battery as well, but they charged mine overnight and it was just fine. The total cost ended up being about $15 less than what they originally quoted. Again, I wouldn t have known the difference. Then, to top it off, they basically detailed the inside of my car while they had it. The cats are super friendly as well.

This place is awesome!!! I have very little knowledge of a vehicle. Midas has given me an estimate of all that needed to be repaired. Huntsman looked at my car and what Midas said needed repairing wasn t even messed up. This saved me $609 at least. They fixed an oil sensor switch for me. My car was leaking oil. I was worried cause I still seen oil underneath my car. They looked at it again and verified it was old oil dripping down. They cleaned it did again. They didn t charge me anything. I later returned for a 4 wheel alignment. They have reasonable prices too. The atmosphere is laid back and cool. I felt so comfortable in there. Plus they have some great cats to keep you company if you wait on your vehicle lol. As a woman I worry about being taken advantage of but I don t have to have that concern here. Will return for all my mechanical needs!!!!

I love these guys! I live in Nashville and I always come here to get my car serviced. Huntsman is full of knowledgeable, honest, employees, I have been getting my car serviced here for years. I won't trust my car to anyone else. They never try to sell you more than what you need, and will proactively let you know if you need something done soon. Also, they have OFFICE CATS!!!! I would highly recommend Huntsman Automotive!

I've only got an estimate for work so far. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have an appointment and will update after the put in my exhaust manifold gaskets. Edit even after running in to problems and being delayed the work was done properly and quickly. I would use them again and will.

I couldn't be more satisfied. I had an engine light problem. Went to a local auto parts store for a quick test. The readout listed several things that sounded incredibly expensive to fix. I called one auto shop, the said they could do a full diagnostic to pinpoint the problem for $90. That was a lot of money to put upfront for a problem that could potentially cost three to four times as much.I called Huntsman after, to see if they could do a similar diagnostic for perhaps a lower price. When I told them the problem, instead of charging me for the diagnosis, they said they would do it for free for the first 30 minutes, then advise me once they figured out the problem.They pinpointed the issue, ordered the part and replaced it the next day. They did quality work and I was satisfied with the price of the repair. I would highly recommend them to anyone and they will most certainly have my business for any maintenance or repairs I might need in the future.

My sons freshman year in college at WKU and he needed some work done to his car on short notice today. They got him in and out in a timely manner and were very reasonable price wise. It is comforting to know we now have a go to place for him in these situations especially since we live so far away. Thank you!

Why Go Any Place Else? Knowledgeable staff. I have had many auto repairs and vehicles serviced here. Car repairs are not my favorite thing to do, but they are great to deal with. Upfront about what they need to do to make the repairs, and fair pricing. The oil change process is the best around too. Highly recommend.

Beyond overpriced for being so slow. I am never going to go back here for anything if I can possibly avoid it. I'd rather just break my car trying to fix it myself.

We took our family Van in to have the engine diagnosed. The assessment was to replace it. We were offered several options and the engine was then replaced. We found that it didn't accelerate as did the original. So when Matt took it back in for review they found the Oxygen sensor was bad. When they attempted to remove it the sensor broke in the manifold. Matt's team, was very generous replacing both the manifold and the sensor.Well the problem with horsepower persisted. It was then that we found we had a smaller power plant that the original motor. Upon discussing this with Matt he took counsel with the management and presented an incredibly fair solution.I am immensely pleased with the quality of service and even more with the character of the team. This is a GREAT local mechanics shop who have been incredibly transparent and reasonable with us each step of the way.I highly recommend them to you.Well done Huntsman!
