Travelling from Alabama to Ohio. I had just had a repair done to my vehicle on Wednesday of this week. I had a shop replace the valve cover on my engine. 50 miles later I was out of oil. Put 4 qts in and went another 50 miles. Made it just into KY near Bowling Green and stopped to check. Engine was spilling oil everywhere and was empty again. I called Douglas because he had 24 hour service and I was panicking.He drove up from Nashville where he was in less than an hour, assured me he could fix it and got there quick. He did fantastic work and fast. He tore off that valve cover, cleaned everything up real well and put it all back together properly sealed. He saved me hundreds of dollars on hotel rooms and tows and God knows what else. His price was fair and he took care of me fairly fiscally as well. He even went on a few test spins around the block with me to ensure the leaking was completely stopped.This guy knows what he is doing, he did such a nice job, assured me the car was safe to drive and guaranteed I would be safe for many miles to come. He even guaranteed if I broke down up the road he would rush up and take care of it. During the work he even identified the ignition coil had been snapped by the prior mechanic and was able to get a temporary fix to get me to Ohio safely. Now I can get the new part and finish the job from home.I really appreciate how you bailed me out and were there for me tonight. Class act and honest. I can assure you, this man can be trusted and will go to any length to take care of the job.I attached some photos to show the mess the other mechanic left me with, and Douglas fixed it all right up.Keep up the great work, thanks to you I'll be spending my weekend with my kids and family instead of in a hotel waiting on a mechanic shop to get around to my problem.

There are scammers I drove 3hrs away to get a car and I was told a new title will get requested for and I paid then I got blocked beware after running the plates of the car it came back to another vehicle beware they are scammer acting like a business owner

Doug stood me up like my 2003 prom date. I m from IN and broken down alone with 4 kids. He said he d be here. He never showed was it me Doug? Do I have too many kids? We looked and looked for you and you never came. Now my 4 kids and I sit, the day before Easter, THE DAY OF THE LORD, longing for a service that never came. My kids are going to need therapy after this .. but really. This jerk knew I was stranded from another state with my kids and said he was coming then ghosted me. Beware.

Trashy service if any at all got paid to fix my car actually over paid to fix my car got the run around for a long time then got proof they were paid and barley and contact still then finally tells me my car can get fixed on a weekend im off and cant get a hold of them still to this day havent answered the phone and the address listed is a hotel im gonna tell the guy that paid them take them to court sue them for a refund cuz they are shady and fake and dont do the work they are paid for

Please be aware of Clay Compton and Amanda Minor. They claim to run a professional business. Hired Clay to do body work on my vehicle. He did not show up on the day he was scheduled to come do the work. Claimed he lost his phone. Gave him another chance. He showed up hours after he was suppose to be here. Did get the dent out of my car but then left my vehicle unfinished because he claimed he got the wrong color paint. Was suppose to make it right today but never showed up and supposedly lost his phone again so he could not communicate with us. My boyfriend finally got ahold of him by going to the address listed on the business page. Very unprofessional. He also left trash in my yard from where he taped off the area. He also caused more damage to my vehicle. Looks like he has several different business names and the address listed is a motel where he lives. After posting on Bowling Green Facebook page about this Clay guy several people messaged me about him doing them wrong as well.

This guy came out very fast to check the problem .. told me it was the water pump and the labor would be 500 came back the next day to put it on. Whenfinished it went up to 550. I said you said 500 yesterday. So we were at 594 with the 550 so when you deduct the 50 we should be at 544. He still said it was 594 because he had to get gasket make and parts cleaner. He charged me 40 bucks for 1 gallon of antifreeze. After all that about a week later the leak came back now 3 weeks in he saynsimcenindindnpay the 44 dollars I owed he wasn't going to fix it. This guy is a scam. Do not use home by car is at a shop in Nashville the owner gave me paperwork to take to court to file a small claim against him. Beware.

Clay was very helpful, he came to fix our van in minutes and took me to buy the part. Got the job done the right way. I recommend this company 100%

Very professional and affordable! He was awesome! I was on my way to see family and my car broke down pretty late at night so I was worried nobody would show up , but he definitely did in a timely fashion. The work he did on my car was amazing and I've not had a single problem out of it since! I would recommend Douglas to anyone. He'll be getting my business from here on out for sure! 1st time he came out and said it was my rack pinion needed replaceing and said it would be 700,, I got a 2nd opinion and you clearly see the tie rod is bent, how did he miss that of he took the tire off to look at the rack, a d I forgotten I his number? So I randomly failed and it was him gonna charge 400 in labor, the man is a crook.

Found this company on Craigslist. I'm located in South Carolina, but had a vehicle driving through Kentucky that was experiencing a problem. I called and made arrangements for my driver to go by and get his van repaired. The work was done correctly and quickly.... all at a fair price. I would recommend.

This guy is super disorganized. Very difficult to communicate with. He came back two times and appears to have disconnected a wire and then charged me to reconnect it and said my trailer brakes were fixed. Turns out next time I got on the road they didn t work at all. He said he would refund the money and then when I called back he just hangs up on me.

This man came to me 2 hr drive to his home he had all the right tools. And knew what he was doing. And didn't over chargeor lie to me and he followed up. No one else from craigslist help. They screwed up my car and threatened me if I didn't pay. He fixed it. So I recommend Douglas. !!!!

Our car broke down on our way to Florida!!We called so many shops and appearently all mechanic shops are close on the weekends. Until We came across Clay's m�vile shop... Clay, pick us up, helped us obtain all the parts that we needed and fix our van! Clay knows for sure what he is doing!!! This guy is not just an amazing person but his mechanic skills are extraordinary!!!

My husband had a tire blow out with 150 miles to go. Everything was closed. We called and they immediately came out. They were professional and nice. So grateful for this business!

This is not a busniess address. Its to a motel, beaware he does not list his actual business address. So you cannot come to his shop to review his work. He wants you to pay first then review. Do not use this buisness for anything. He has had our truck for 5 months and will not return it. filed law suite against him. but business is in another name. No real business address and business is not register in Kentucky at all. Beware!!!

My first experience with this company was wonderful. I had another problem & called them for service a second time. My second experience was awful. They arrived at my disabled vehicle & left me. They did not call my phone or attempt to contact me when they arrived...they just drove past & left me stranded.I no longer recommend these people to anyone for any service type.

We had a tire blown in the early hours of a road trip to NY and they answered the phones quickly and professionally and were very helpful for our tire changed with the quickness!!! Would def recommend

My oldest son needed his brakes fixed badly on his 2007 Honda CRV I texted Amanda and called about it and they said yes we will fix it will come to his work which is a huge help for me since I work in eTown and he lives in bowling Green and works in bowling Green so I was able to drive down here with the parts I was able to buy my own parts and they put them on for us took them more than about an hour and a half they treated me really good they actually gave me a discount and I really appreciated them and I highly recommend this company they are great very professional they waited she even waited in the truck while her mechanic fixed the car for me

There might be some dyschronometria going on, but they got to my vehicle none the less and were able to fix it within 30 minutes of arriving. Haven t had a problem since!

This was best work I ve ever saw done and so quick and neat 5 stars isn t enough they really catored to all my needs my guy even fixed things that wasn t in the plan So if you re in bowling green or the surrounding areas this should be your top pick if you need any maintenance done to your car please give these guys a call I GUARANTEE YOULL BE WRITING THE SAME THING ABOUT THERE WORK THESE GUYS ARE A TRUE BLESSING And I Stamp That and im from Baltimore best work I ever had done hands down

I called after everyone else's regular hours and he came right out had the problem fixed in less than an hour.( We have a class A motorhome and evwryone wanted us to bring it in and they could get to us in a week or two.)We've scheduled for him to come out and make other repairs we've been too busy to have done tomorrow also!
