Mark and the crew at Konen's always take care of my 200k+ mileage car. I never feel pressured into services and am always well informed regarding the services I need. Konen's whole group take great care of my needs in a timely manner. If I could zero star review, I would. I heard grinding in my front driver's side. I figured it was brakes or bearings. I took it to konens because I'd have to hike the hill to my mom's after dropping the car off (convenience). He quoted new rotors, pads and brake fluid flush for $860. I told him nope. I'm not ignorant about cars, dude. Before I took my car anywhere else, I called brakes 4 Less in Newport (and over a pre-inspection phone call) they quoted the same exact service for [literally] half that. The next day they actually took my car apart and inspected brakes. Kevin at the shop told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my brakes, and he didn't feel the need to fix something that wasn't broken.So konen was going to charge me almost a grand for brakes services and oil change for no reason?? That's rude and sheisty. He lost my business

I have been using these guys for years and they always do a great job on my vehicles and they are super nice guys too. Both Mark and Rob are great to work with and always go the extra mile to make sure you get taken care appropriately.

Excellent customer service. Spent time explaining issues of concern in detail. Their whole vehicle inspection is incredible. Digital updates with pictures and comments made it easy to make decisions on repairs. I will return for all of my maintenance and repair issues. Thanks so much guys.

This garage is efficient and honest. Mark communicated well with me regarding the needs of my car and helped me to complete all maintenance needed. This garage will save you a lot of $ over taking your car to other places (Lexus). Konens was able to get all the certified parts for my vehicle. I will return to this garage. Well done!

We noticed a difference sound coming from the engine. We was told by other in the community to give konens a shot. Well sooooo glad we did, Customer service is great and the tech. took very good care of the truck, inside and out. We will definitely recommend them to everyone.

I always have the BEST experience with Konen's! The communication and break down of what is happening with my vehicle as a whole has been a great way for me to plan out future services so I'm not reacting to maintenance all the time. The staff is beyond friendly and professional, and I always feel confident in their work and trust them whole heartedly! Thank you!

Had a great experience here. The people are very friendly, thorough and explain everything in detail, not high pressure and allow you to feel comfortable to make a decision on what you want and need to fix. I had called a few places before going there asking for an estimate based on what the dealership told me. They were able to look at my car without holding me to any costs. The dealership wanted $180 to look at my car even though I already had an appt with them to look at, I would have needed to bring it back another day when they had more time. Konen's called me within a couple of hours of me dropping off my car with a diagnosis and estimate. I really appreciate that they valued my time and completed all repairs the same day. I will be using them for my maintenance going forward. It's very convenient to my home, but their waiting room also looked comfortable and I could hang out there for a few hours if needed.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

I grew up surrounded by mechanics so I know enough about cars to know when I'm dealing with knowledgeable car people. These guys are the real deal. I've had two repairs on my old man car and could not recommend them more. They've been real with me both times and speak to me like I'm an intelligent person, not like a woman who doesn't know anything. I feel safe leaving my car with them knowing they're going to do exactly what they said they would do AND the repair will fix the issues. 10/10, I definitely recommend!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Oil change

My mom has been taking her car here for the last thirteen or so years and has never had a complaint. I ve taken my car here the last few times I ve needed services done and I always feel that my car is safe with Rob and his amazing team.

I had heard great things about this shop! I found a nail in my tire and gave them a call. They were very kind on the phone, kind in person, and when I came to pick up my car they explained how they made the repair. It was quick, fairly priced, and good service in general. I found my new car shop :)

This is the best, most reliable auto shop I've ever been to. At a lot of auto shops, there are long wait times to get your car seen and even longer wait times to get it back. At Konen's, the longest they've had one of my cars is 3 days for a major repair. I never feel pressured to buy something that I don't want to buy. They explain things to me in a way I can understand and will break down any charges for you. They are quick and trustworthy. The loaner car service is amazing and so convenient. I would recommend Konen's to anyone in the area. I live in Cincinnati now and still come back to Kentucky for Konen's. Thank you for taking good care of my car!

Konen s is fantastic! I m new in town, and unfortunately had to have AAA tow my car to Konen s early Thursday morning. We had no idea what was wrong with it, and decided it was best for the professionals to have a look. They were booked up, but still looked at it and had a diagnosis the next day. It ended up being a quick, inexpensive fix, but Konen s also did an incredibly thorough inspection on the rest of my car. We know what to look out for now, and will be grateful customers of Konen s going forward!

I've been going to Konen's for 3 years and I am very happy with them. They take the time to explain exactly what is wrong and how much it will cost. They are very detailed and they get the job done fast.They're the only ones that I let work on my car. Thank you Konen's for a fantastic job.

Great mechanics, and just good guys all around. Had quite a bit of work done and they did everything imaginable to get my car running great, and at fair prices. And if you have any problems they go out of their way to make it right. Rob (the owner) is the most trustworthy mechanic I have ever met and I have been to many of them over the last 35 years. I have been screwed over by many too and it has never been that way at Konen's Pittstop. They have done dozens of repairs for me on my 3 cars. They are done correctly and they last. He stands behind his work. Out of about 40 odd repairs, one repair failed, because of a faulty part, not his fault, and he replaced it at no charge. A truly good mechanic that wish I had found much sooner!

Konen's Pittstop has been servicing and maintaining my business truck for years. As a home inspector, Best Choice Home Inspections, my business depends on that truck. I had engine trouble the day before a 3 day holiday and I had all 3 days booked. Rob, the owner of Konen's Pittstop, stepped up and got me back on the road that same day. Home inspections are time sensitive and rescheduling is not an option. Thank you Rob ! You saved the day and my reputation.

This review was a tough call. They did do a lot of things right. The customer service was excellent...like really great.But, they put traditional oil in my car which has ALWAYS taken the recommended synthetic. That is a deal breaker.I also scheduled my oil change. I arrived right on time, but they didn't start my oil change for 1.5 hours. Why?!? Thank God I brought my laptop and got work done there while I waited.

Awesome service, fair prices!! I had an appointment on a Wednesday morning to take my car in for service. Everyone was very friendly, and I was taken care of right away. They had me back on the road in under a half hour! I was blown away by the service, and was very glad to be treated fairly and with respect. I highly recommend Konen's for auto service. Thanks!!

Mark and the Konen team were so wonderful to work with in figuring out what was going on with my car. The equipment that Konen's mechanics use are top notch and give detailed reports as to what exactly the problem is with the vehicle and helps eliminate guesswork and any unnecessary trial and error. Overall an amazing experience & I would highly recommend them to anyone!

An actual honest repair shopEvery dealing I've had with them has been honest and fair. I would never go to a shop with cheaper labor hours, because I know that I am probably still going to pay less here, because they only bill you for work they actually do. It was a really nice treat for me as an out of town guy finding an honest shop on my first try. 100% recommend 5 stars ,

I recently took my truck into Konen's Pittstop for what I thought were brake related issues... turns out my amateur opinion was wrong. Rob and the guys at Konen's Pittstop were great in both diagnosing the actual problem and then taking the time to walk me through the how and why of the problem. I was very pleased with my experience and will be bringing my truck back in for any other service it requires. I know they will go the extra mile by doing great work for a fair price.

Good place. I just gave them my car for a quick check up before driving long distance. No issues while driving once it was checked. They were quite comprehensive in providing the details about everything they came across that required attention, along with what's priority and what's not.The service was good and timely - in fact, I was back on road ahead of time. Would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I received Very poor quality work and service at this establishment. They do not stand behind their work, even though they are grossly overpriced. Especially do not patronize this auto mechanic if you are a woman, because they will rob you blind. My advice is to take your business to a more honest and trustworthy mechanic such as Archies s in Dayton, Kentucky. It s only a short distance away and they are honest and reasonable.

I ve had many types of services completed at Konen s (oil changes, brakes, new tires, leaks) and I have received exceptional service for all. Not only are the mechanics competent and friendly, they are super honest! Highly recommend !

If you are a cynic like me, you think that the existence of an honest mechanic is about as likely as a Bigfoot sighting or a personal encounter with a Yeti. After Midas at Newport told me that I needed a new rack and pinion assembly AND a new power steering pump for $1325, I called three different mechanics who not only told me such a verdict was unlikely to say the least but seriously overpriced as well. Konen made the best impression so I took my car in to Rob for a second opinion. It turned out that only a part of the rack and pinion assembly needed to be replaced. I left Konen saving $885! The classic hook I thought expecting that the next time I would be paying through the nose. Not so! I had my badly broken wheel bearing assembly fixed at an extremely reasonable price. (Trust me, I checked.) My car now drives better than when I first bought it. The third time I went by I took the time to get to know the gang at Konen's Pitt Stop. They are all extremely likable fellows and not in a used-car-salesman kind of way if you know what I mean. At visit #3, Mark &Co now knew who I was and greeted me with a smile and by name. I had a regular oil change. Miraculously. I am now getting better fuel mileage. That is the first time that ever happened! I do not know much about cars so mechanics like Midas tend to think that they can defraud me with ease. But the truth is that I know competence when I see it and Konen has it. I am now convinced that I found my very own personal Yeti: a reasonably priced mechanic with integrity. Check it out!

Highly recommend!! What great customer service, and excellent work they provide. They were thorough, and took their time to discuss everything with me. Certainly made me feel welcome rather than just a number to them. Have gained a lifetime customer out of me, and I will refer everyone to them. Thank you all so very much!
