James was awesome. Gave me a great deal on my Lincoln and answered any questions I had. He doesn't pressure you into feeling like you have to buy from him and is a cool laid back guy. Definitely had a 5 star experience buying from Derby city automotive.

I cannot say enough about amazing James was! Start to finish he was very personable and worked with me step by step searching for a financer. He went above and beyond working on getting the best rate for me.He was the best and the vehicle (2010 mitsubishi outlander) is of amazing quality!

Bought our 09 Prius here. James gave us an amazing deal and the process was painless. They took care of the paperwork and even with COVID slowing everything down we got our license plate in a little over a week! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a new to you car!

You should definitely check out the cars here. They are all super clean. I love the 2012 Infinity I bought here. I got a great deal too. I could not have asked for better service.

Unbeknownst to me, the dealership had just moved to Bardstown. That inconvenience combined with my hesitancy to work with a small dealer (as opposed to the big-box places we've all heard of) made me hesitate to visit. But, they had a car I was REALLY interested in so I went.Not only was this the best car buying experience I've had, I feel I was dealing with a true professional. Since I wasn't an in-town buyer, he held the car for me to buy or pass on first (before having others look and potentially buy out from under me before I could get there). He went the extra mile to help me have the car independently checked & made a few fixes free of charge. He was flexible with me on several other things and I appreciated it.James, the owner, is a very good human and I'll never assume a small dealer isn't worth solid consideration. Yes, there are sleezy schemers out there, but they exist at small & large dealerships alike and this dealership is not one of them. When I need cars in the future, this dealership is the first place I'll call.

Best dealership experience you will find locally. James is so easy to work with and truly makes it fun, which is a rare find these days. Understand that Derby City is the opposite of the stereotypical car lot. If you are in the market for a new car, this place should be your first call.

Bought my 2012 Mini Clubman here. James went above and beyond to be courteous and helpful during the process. The car is in great shape and reasonably priced. Very much appreciated his excellent customer service and flexibility. Would absolutely purchase another car from Derby City and will recommend to friends and family.

Looked at internet to look for cars and it said they were open on Sunday until 7pm so we drove out and there was no one there and on the door it said open on Sunday by appointment wish it showed that on the internet before I went there.
