Billy and his crew are the BEST. Had a flat on rear of work van with trailer attached. They patched and got me on the road fast. Absolutely fantastic service.

I brought two tires in to be put on while the other two were delayed in shipping to be mounted, along with an alignment. I was told a cost of the two tire installation and alignment ahead of time, and was charged an extra ten at the time or payment because they were low profile (which was completely understandable). However, while they were installing the tires, they apparently cut/damaged the valve stem while mounting one and for whatever reason, did not think it would matter since the wheel has two valve stems and did not tell me. My tire pressure kept dropping on my way home and I had to return to the shop and that's when they said they had damaged the valve stem, and they would replace it for free. I come back two days later with the other two tires and when it comes time to pay, I am charged even more this time for the installation of the other two tires. When I inquired about it at the time of payment, the man told me that they had to charge me that much because it was low profile. And I explained that I had heard that same thing from the other man on my previous visit and he continues to tell me that they actually should have charged me even more on the previous visit and this one so I should be happy. It seems they have no set price if they think they can take advantage of you. I even asked for a receipt like the one I received on the initial visit (a printed itemized statement) and the only thing I was allowed to have was the crumpled up work order he had tossed into the trash. I had to wait for over an hour just for them to get to my car even with an early morning appointment, which would have been OK given the fact that the shop seemed busy both visits; however, being lied to and overcharged and not given a proper receipt to keep for my records and to also see exactly what I'm being charged for, is unacceptable.

I was told it would be an hour wait for new tires, alignment, and an oil change. I was there for over 2.5 hours.I tried to use my BigOTires Credit Card for the 6 months 0% interest that they offer and they kept saying it was declined and I had to use a different payment method. They had charged my CreditCard FOUR times along with my other payment (A total of FIVE payments!!) I went to address the issue the next day, and Richard did help me get the charges on my BigO Card cancelled, but that doesn t make up for the fact that I now have to pay the interest for my other card that I shouldn t have even had to use! On top of it all, they gave me the wrong tires that I didn t ask for! Wrong size and different brand! I am very disappointed with the service I was given and will not be returning.

Do not visit this location. I bought two brand new tires in august, and paid for a full alignment for my car. They didn t do an alignment, my car was worse off than it was when I brought it in, but they assured me that they did an alignment, so I thought maybe something else was wrong. Well I just visited the Shelbyville location today, and got two more tires and an alignment. They bring me a sheet to show me just how out of alignment my tires are, and you can tell 100% that the bardstown location didn t do an alignment on my car. So, in short, these people charged me for an alignment they didn t do.

Was told YESTERDAY that they could get my car in and get the tire fixed that day. Took the car and in and they needed to order the tire, understandable. Supposed to get my tire in at 10 today and when it came in they said they couldn t get it on today. I have to drive my daughter tomorrow with a roofing nail in my tire then come back and sit and hope they get me in tomorrow. Plus the site says they close at 6:00 but at 5:30 no one is answering the phone. We won t be back.

Great service! Guys had me in and out in no time and paid no attention to my emotional melt down over my tire. Lol!!Only complaint was they didn t put the spare tire back underneath my van, but hey they didn t take it down. Word for the wise. If you have a Toyota van the tire is underneath on the passenger side. Have to lift up a small cutout of the carpet in the middle row seatings foot area.

2 hours for an oil change, then the discovery of a bad tire added another hour. I try not to hold it against them, the store is always busy which just means alot of people need work done, but 3 hours still made a big impact on my day, and I've certainly had it done faster. However, the crew were courteous and helpful, and my car is running much smoother now.

I ve gotten tires here before with no issues, however recently I took my vehicle in that I recently purchased used for new rotors and brake pads. After leaving the vehicle there all day I was told they only changed the pads. The guy said I drove it and didn t see an issue with the rotors . The steering wheel was shaking at higher speeds slowing down. He said drive it a couple weeks and if it continues bring it back. I brought it back after a week or two because it needed rotors. Three months and it needs rotors again. I called them and they basically said it s my fault for not having the pads and rotors done at the same time. Also that driving in Bardstown is very different than driving in Louisville so it s a lot more wear . This is insanity. If that wasn t enough insult I was accused of being a defensive driver and that was another reason the rotors may need to be replaced. When in actuality they just bought the cheapest rotors that last a very short amount of time OR faulty products. I was never asked what grade of rotors I wanted nor did I think I needed to ask. I ve never had an issue with needing rotors on any vehicle so soon. I ve driven the same vehicles for years and never needed rotors within the same year let alone three months.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Make an appt and still tell you you have to wait 3 hrs to fix your vehicle. B.S. if you gotta wait 3 hrs might as well be a walk in. what's the point of making an appt!? Big O will no longer get my service.

Came in with a spare tire that was flat needed it fixed or a new tire mounted (slightly after noon). My wife was told the other tire was not in good shape and was convinced to buy 2. I specifically told them we could leave the spare there for days but we could not leave the car was told no problem but we would have to pay in advance. Paid over $600 then when we returned slightly after 3 we witnessed two employees arguing about over booking and how the one was leaving at 6 and had over 10 jobs to finish.We then we're faced with being forced to leave our only transportation there overnight. I stated all we needed was the tire I would put it on they could refund the mounting charge etc. This did not happen now our time is shot. Screw paing them on advance, screw their upsale, and if you are smart screw going to this place. Especially if all you need is a spare tire.

I drove my car in for a alignment it was pulling to the right. They told me it needed a control arm, while putting on the new part I was told it was faulty by one employee and they missed a bolt by another. They then called to tell me they broke my axle and dented my finder. The insurance company wasn't even smart enough to blend in the paint with the front bumper. I had to go thrue all this because of there negligence. I wouldn't even take a scooter there. So disrespectful.

The 2 men kept me standing at the counter for over 10 minutes without greeting me and then just went about answering their phones and talking to themselves and each other, then one telling me his much my bill was before I had to tell him he didn't even know why I was there yet. Then he went on to cash out the women he thought I was. Then he walked outside with me to my car told me that he didn't think it needed balancing and that I should talk it to a dealership to see what was wrong with it the tire. Never offered to pull it in and look at it. Seems that things have went way downhill since Susan left.

Took my car in to have 2 tires replaced last week. 2 issues I had were; when the technician brought my car into the bay he proceeded to rev the engine up to about 7,000 rpm like he owned it (which honestly wasn't a big deal it was just unprofessional), then when he mounted the tires he tightened the lug bolts with a 1/2 inch impact. Initially I assumed it was probably on the lowest setting and it was no big deal. Fast forward to a few days later when my headlight goes out and I have to remove the front tire to replace it. I HAD TO USE A 36 INCH BREAKER BAR WITH A 4 FOOT CHEATER PIPE TO BREAK THE LUGS LOOSE!!! I put my biggest torque wrench on a lug bolt set to 250 lb-ft and it wouldn't come near breaking them loose, torque specs for my wheels are 105 lb-ft. I also have a noticeable vibration when braking now, I have 2 piece rotors and the center is aluminum so they most likely warped them. These people are careless, they're going to stretch someone's lug bolts/studs and get someone seriously hurt. I'll never let them touch my car again.

The worst possible customer service from Richard!! He needs to find another line of work, straight out lied to me. The rest of the folks were great, tires were swapped out just fine but I will NEVER return if Richard is still there.

Sorry. And I mean that's my rating for the man at the desk... I Pulled in here about an hour and half ago with a tire loosing air so quick I could hear it leaking. Told the guy behind the counter that I was from out of town (louisville) and had a five o'clock meeting. He didn't even offer to air the tire up. I told him it's a fast leak and that the tire would be too flat to drive it soon. ANY OTHER PLACE would have seen the urgency of my situation... Not this guy. He's Mr control freak and has been passive aggressively putting off having my truck looked at since I pointed out the urgency of the situation. Not only have I been waiting all this time and still not been waited on but I'm pretty sure he's had a couple vehicles seen ahead of mine.How far down this place has spiraled since I lived here thirty years ago.The managers from those days would be appalled.

Visited Bardstown recently and unfortunately had a flat tire. These guys replaced our bad tire with a used tire, aired up our spare and assured us that we could get home safely all quickly and at no cost to us! Thanks again!

I love this place. Gentleman at desk as you enter name is Richard. A very good guy my opinion. He goes extra mile to help. Always has an answer no matter how busy he is and I have seen Big O Tires packed Richard had everything under control and always pleasant with a smile!!!!

Went there with my daughter car and my husband car dropped them off they told me a hour and a half it was 3 hours later and they still weren t done and I have tried 3 other times customer service is bad and the don t listen. They need to learn respect to customers and how to tell the truth. I feel like I wasted a $1100.00 on tires we should have went to Michaels. They stand behind their stuff and don t lie to their customers.

Excellent service!! Picked up a screw in my tire on Sunday, called this morning & Randy said he could fix @ 4 & I was on my way in 20 minutes. Now thats service & the reason I've been buying Big O tires for 38 yrs & will continue to recommend to others.

Great service, prices, and mechanics. Customer service is awesome, helpful, and the mechanics are good at what they do. I go here regularly for car work that I don't have the tools or time to do myself.
