Back in March tim rebuild an alternator for me and charged $90 to do so in a chevy tahoe, there was a contactor broke and that is the only thing he changed. After the rebuild it would make noise on occasion when first started, you could bump the throttle and it would quit. I was told by Tim that it was not the alternator and went home, I started the vehicle the next day and the noise was there again. I let the noise continue without making it stop, showing later that it was not charging when the noise was going on. I took the part back and was told again, not the alternator. I insisted that it was and that it be fixed. The next day I picked the item up and was told that this time he had put a new pulley and new bearings in, which should have been done the first time. This alternator locked up on the intslerstate 7 months after the repair, it was taken to fox electric in corbin and rebuilt again, they advised that the bearings were locked up and only charged 50 dollars. Dont waste your money with these this idiot and go to fox. You will regret it, when I called and told him what happened, he claimed no responsibility and didn't even apologize.
