I m not sure how many stars because it wasn t the wait time or the worker. I can t even explain what a hard time I ve had moving over the weekend turned into days and doing most myself. I slid off the road just a little but the wet ground wasn t letting me go anywhere. I called, was literally pulled out a few feet and the fee was $100. I just burst into tears because I never imagined that much and I needed that pretty much all I had.

They showed up quick (Less than 15 mins) and got in my truck that I locked the keys in. Very affordable also. Highly recommended.

My RV was towed twice by this company by the same guy, whose name I believe was Steve. Initially, Progressive attempted to get a tow for me, but who knows what they were doing because they couldn't find anyone. I told them to use McGuire's, and they arrived in a heartbeat. There are a few towing places in this town; it appears the two well known ones are McGuire's and A1 Moyer's. I've interacted with both businesses, and they were both very respectful, nice people. I think we ended up asking Progressive to use McGuire's simply because they were closer to where my RV broke down. I couldn't believe how fast he had it hooked up and ready to go. He also was very honest with us and helped us figure out where we wanted to take the RV to get service. Not being a local, sometimes it's hard to know who has what reputation, and it was nice to get an honest opinion from someone who knows.I can't speak for all of their drivers, but Steve is extremely skilled. I included a photo of a space he backed my RV into. It was so tight, I thought for sure, he was going to hit something, but he just did it without even grazing so much as a side mirror in one go. Honestly I wish I'd been taking video of it, but I was too busy just staring like an idiot. I've been trying to get good at backing that RV up on its own and with a car towed on the back, so I know a tiny bit of the difficulty of that maneuver. And I was just floored by the way he parked it like that and just thought nothing of it.Great business from my experience. Definitely would recommend them to anyone, especially with a large vehicle.

Most of the time towing companies make me leave only bad reviews. Called McGuire`s Towing was quoted adequate price and time. Professionally done and they kept there word on pricing. Definitely will use again if needed.

Had an issue with my tractor breaking down because of exhaust leak. They were able to get my truck to the dealer no hassle and without any fuss. Great customer service

I highly recommend this company. We have a heavy duty phone truck and it cannot be towed by a regular tow truck. It was Sunday and options were few. We called McGuire's and I'm glad we did. The owner gave us information on where we can stay, a garage that could repair our vehicle and available hotels. Our tow driver James showed up in a well lit truck fully equipped to do the job. Hewas courteous and helpful with a great attitude that put us at ease. He dropped us in front of the hotel, pointed out stores and restaurants. No one ever wants to have a problem with a vehicle but if you do you can't do any better than this company. God bless them!

OTR driver. Had an improperly secured load shift in the trailer coming off I64 in Cattletsburg, KY.Company called numerous vendors to assist in load rework. None were willing to do the job.McGuire's came to the rescue. Had i not approached the two gentlemen from McGuire's that were reworking a load on site at Flying J for another carrier, I believe I would have been S.O.L!Given the nature of my load shift and the equipment needed to move 4200lbs pallets, McGuire's had me drive the short distance to their facility in Ashland.Upon arrival I was greeted with a positive attitude, plenty of jokes and banter and most importantly, professionalism and reassurance that they would get the job done. And that they did.Charles was even so kind as to involve me in the decision making process in getting the pallets organized and weights appropriately distributed across the axles.Customer service done right and done with a smile! Highly recommended.

Very professional. Very nice guys. When they quoted me over the phone they actually reduced the price when they got here because it was easier than they thought. You don t see that much anymore. I won t hesitate to call them in the future. You should use them with confidence. Job well done!

McGuires was hired by my insurance company to tow a totaled travel trailer from my property. They called ahead of time (probably 30 minutes before they arrived) as a courtesy. However, my family and I were headed to a school function and did not realize we still had a few belongings in the camper and a lock on the tongue at that time (otherwise we would have stopped them). As I was at an important function I turned my phone off for about two hours. When I turned it back on, I realized my mistake as I had several very professional voicemails from the company. Realizing what I did I looked at my wife and said well whatever was left in the camper is gone and that lock was cut off. We both agreed that was the case and said well it s our fault oh well.However, probably five minutes later they called and again and I answered. The a very kind lady explained she was trying to reach us and the driver would wait until we got there. We were stunned and rushed home. Instead of just cutting the lock off the tongue and towing it away the driver waited OVER TWO HOURS for me to answer my phone and arrive back home. I m not sure what their demand was during this time but I m positive there were more productive things for this man to do than just sit and wait two hours on a customer that should have been ready.To say we felt horrible and were embarrassed was an understatement. However this man said he saw the kids playground equipment and figured we were at a baseball game or something with our kids and he s just wait until we got back. He was very polite, professional and frankly more understanding than I would have been.If I have a future need for towing or recovery I will contact McGuires and I encourage everyone else to do so as well. This is a very nice family run business that still goes above expectations to do what is right. In this day and age these businesses just don t exist anymore and should be supported.Service: Special vehicle towing

Getting a vehicle towed is never cheap but McGuire's is very reasonable and very helpful and professional, I will use them everytime I need a tow. Hopefully I don't need one LOL

I am driver for a out of town small trucking company. My Tractor trailer brokedown, and we had 2 other shops try and fix it. Mr McGuire [Sammy] came out to tow it. And before he did which would have cost a lot of money he had a friend come over and the 2 of them actually fixed the problem saving us towing it. It wasn't just the work and price was reasonable, fair and honest which these days can be hard to find.It's that he went the extra mile and put in extra time to solve the problem.They are honest hard working people, as we are..Thank you so much, and may God Bless you and your entie family.

We broke down pulling our horsetrailer on I 64. They came with a tow truck and an additional pickup truck. They towed the truck and trailer to the repair shop a few miles away and also gave my wife and three year old a ride to the rental car company 15 miles away in the pickup truck to get our rental. Super friendly people. Very helpful and out going. Very easy to deal with as well. HIghly recommend this company if you have any car/truck trouble around the Ashland KY area.Services: Car towing, Local hauling

I let someone borrow my van and they ended up wrecking it. Well tbh I haven't had it very long so the title still hadn't been switched to my name and it's in the glove box.However every single thing I own is in that van, I mean everything even things that belong to my children I can never replace.The women told me on the phone I would have to get a notorized statement from the person on the title and their i.d and honestly just a bunch of ignorant things just for me to get my belongings out of it.I mean heck I would've signed the title over to them or whatever. I just want my belongings cause I was living in it around that time. So I'm giving 1 star cause if I ran a company like this I would gladly let someone have their things

I was having an issue with my truck and they told us they will call us back when they are available to pick it up. 3 hours later heard nothing and got a really mad woman on the other end of the phone call just wondering what was going on.It was at 11pm at night. They were rude and hung up on me multiple times after stating who was calling.Never using their service and wouldn't recommend it if you have a night tow.

My car broke down suddenly and I did not have enough money at the time for it to be towed but was in a tow away zone they were very nice to help me and towed it to my work place. I am so grateful for their help.
