Very honest good person... I was quoted a price an he charged me less then what he quoted an I'm sure it took longer then they expected but they're compassionate carrying people that work in this place... I would highly recommend this place an I will definitely be using them as my go to mechanic...

2 year 24k warranty across the nation on parts installed.Great customer service. Passes on lifetime warranty on any parts that is covered as well.Completely trust them for our safety and service.

Excellent. I paid about $417 for repairs. I called Bill cole auto for an estimate. Was told about 1700 . The office is clean and the owner is nice. He picked me up and yes this is Boyd County Auto repair. Not a car lot lol. Highly recommend.

Took my husbands car here because it was leaking power steering fluid, paid 700 dollars to have the rack and pinion fixed. Less then 3 weeks later it started leaking fluid again, took it back and the guy is now saying it s a sensor. The guy told us fixing the rack and pinion would take care of the problem! As it should since we paid 700 dollars!! We took it to another guy today and he said it s absolutely not the sensor and that makes zero sense. I DO NOT recommend this place. We wasted 700 dollars.

If you want a repair shop who's honest, knowledgeable and experienced then go to Boyd County Automotive...very fast, friendly service at very fair prices. Definitely will not be recommending this company to anyone. We had our expedition towed there because they said that they would look at it that day. It sat there for 4 before they finally "looked" at it and said that it was the motor. After being quoted $2500 we decided to get another opinion. We paid them $75 for "looking" at the vehicle and had it towed to another shop. So we are out $85 to tow it there, another $60 to tow it to another shop, plus the $75 for them to look at it. All this to find out that the car had never been looked at and the issue is the AC compressor that had froze up/locked up. If I wanted to be screwed over, I would have just gone to a dealership. Never thought a local shop would do this. Save your time and money and avoid this place at all cost.

Great service, honest prices. The only downside was that when I arrived (during business hours) there was no one there and I had to wait outside a bit.

Stood outside for nearly 30 minutes looking at vehicles, waiting for someone to come out but the only reason they did come out was to inform us that it was a personal vehicle and then shut the office door without asking if we needed any assistance because we were in an older model car. They lost out on 6,000 dollars that day and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
