Great communication and good advice. They even gave advice which sometimes meant they would earn less money. Also, I was very pleased and surprised that they followed up a few days later to see if the car is running well. I highly recommend them.

I was traveling through and the bolt broke on my Wranglers belt tensioner. They made me a priority so I can get back home to my family for Christmas. They did a awesome job! And they didn't take advantage of me price wise as shops are know to do to it of towers. Great people and work! I recommend them to everyone!

I had been using woodys for service to my car for the past several yearsAfter scheduling my car for service (after rescheduling), I got their early in the morning handed my key to reception & was told if I wasn t just dropping the car off, I would again need to reschedule as their were 14 customers ahead of me.If you can believe it, I have received text message to schedule service on my car againMy answer to that is, um no sir not after publicly refusing to service my car after scheduling it!You lost my loyalty and customer relationships are clearly not your priorityGo hustle somewhere else

Stand up people providing top notch service plain and simple. Unfortunately, it's fairly common in the automotive repair industry for some shops to upsell unsuspecting customers on parts they don't necessarily need. The crew at Woody's are honest, transparent, and have the best customer service of anywhere I've been. Thanks guys!

I needed a Volvo mechanic, and didn't want to go to the dealership. Woody's has an experienced Volvo enthusiast and that is what led me to this shop. They performed a full diagnostic and included a printout explaining everything they found. I also thought the photo of the installed part was a nice feature as well.

I was recommended to this place by one of my coworkers, and I will continue to go to this place. One of the things that I love about this place is that they give you a couple pages that say what service they performed on your car and with the prices as well as providing pictures they took. For example, there was some corrosion on my battery, and they took a picture to show what it looked like beforehand. If you don't have a service done, it will still be listed with the price if you choose to get it done. I've been to a couple shops in the past, and it can be difficult to find good, trustworthy service. I will continue to recommend this place, and I am very satisfied with the service I have received.Services: Battery, Oil change

I tried several other automotive repair shops before sticking with Woody's. The people here are honest about what's going on with my vehicles and give me multiple repair and service options when possible. Couldn't be happier with them.

I live in Ohio,but my daughter is in Wichita so trying to find honest, quality professionals has been difficult. After dealing with a local dealership in the area for the last few years it was a breath of fresh air to speak to leadership at Woody's automotive. They were transparent with the diagnosis, very professional, caring for the situation, and delivered a great customer experience for me as well as my daughter. Very prompt in repair and communication was top notch! We bookmarked Woody's as the recommended repair shop for any future business needs. $60 to plug in the machine to check the engine light when AutoZone will do it for free We figured since they were already scheduled to fix something on the car we would just have them do it. Lesson learned.They get the job done and relatively quickly. You just may want to ask the price before the service.

Andrew was amazing! We were buying a car from a dealership and we live in Texas. We needed an inspection since we were buying sight unseen. He was quick, thorough, and so kind and helpful! The guys at Woody's are the best. They don't run you around, don't try to talk you out of going with the cheapest options first, they have great service and most importantly do quality work. They quickly become MY mechanic shop. Used them once after reading great reviews. I was quoted $114 for my original diagnostic but ended up paying $245. Wasn t going to argue, instead I would just not return. However since my initial service in March of 2022 I get pesky text messages from them requesting appointments and such. I replied to one of their texts one day in hope of scheduling an oil change and never got a response. However their text messages keep coming. Wouldn t recommend solely due to the fact that they are not transparent at all when it comes to their billing process.

Charged over $300 for diagnostics to look at AC, said compressor was shot. Then my truck totally broke down with 24 hours.had to tow to a honest mechanic. For a small fee, AC works now, compressor wasn t broken at all! Do not use this shop!!!

I had my timing belt and clutch replaced here and I will forever use them for any future car repairs. My vehicle has never ran better since coming out of their shop. They were so kind, honest and quick given the repair needed. They communicate very well and truly seem like they want what's best for you and your vehicle. They're also very well priced. I felt very comfortable here.

I have used Shawn's Woody's Automotive for several years in both locations (Hillside & 1st) and East Central. They have always been professional, friendly, knowledgeable and gave me a full picture of what maintenance is needed - what needs to be done ASAP for safety and which can be put off for later attention. They know me and my vehicle and I trust them to give me reliable information. Rates are comparable to other auto services. First visit included oil change, fuel filter change, and repaired an a/c leak that the dealer was unable to fix for my Dodge diesel. Cost was very competitive. They additionally called out a couple other things to keep an eye on with details and pictures...and with no pressure. Will definitely be back.

The best experience I've had at a mechanic yet. They are honest, up front, and lots of communication, and they did not overcharge. I did have to take the vehicle back due to a faulty replacement part, but they replaced it quickly and checked on us a few days later to make sure there were no additional issues. The mechanics did a great job packing wheel bearings and a fan clutch that I m amazed they were able to get out and replace. They did it all for a fair and reasonable price. Very pleased with their service and repairs. We are new to the neighborhood. I drove by this place on my way home. The garage area and lot were neat and clean. Always a good sign.My car went in for an oil change. We lived in a small town in Iowa where repairs/service for Toyotas was not readily available. We let a lot of things go until moving to Wichita. The service assessment for my car was accurate and needed.One feature of service here were several texts from the shop. All identified problems were detailed, recommended solutions given, costs for said repairs and broken down in detail via text. I was able to select what repairs I wanted done.There was problem that couldn t be resolved. One measure of a shop, I believe, is when they can t make repairs and admit it. That s honesty!

I had a dr's appt and developed a flat on my way to it. I stopped in to see if they would put on my spare. They made time to do it right away so I wouldn't be late and kept my wheel to order a replacement tire. They called when the tire was ready to pick up and placed it back on the car. I was very pleased with their quick service and treatment.

They have always find a good time for me to drop the car. They have always give me a full report of what they did and what they can do in the future. That helps me out to figure out which ones are necessary or not. Very friendly people. *EDIT - was able to get my thermostat replaced in my hometown for $150 instead of the $1500 Woodys quoted me. Other maintenance is needed, but it wasn t necessary for me to get home. Thought I d update since they decided to respond sharing every detail of their diagnosis. Shows that they re determined that they re right despite the client s needs and budget. *I was very disappointed in the customer service. I am from out of town and my parents recommended them to me, my car was having some issues that needed repaired before I could go home.I ultimately failed to have Woody's complete work on my car due to the inflated labor costs and for the numerous additional services the staff tried to push on to me. Auto shops have a reputation of taking advantage of people and going out of their way to look for additional issues. Unfortunately, this shop is no different.I ended up having my husband bring a trailer and haul my car home to have a more reputable mechanic complete the work at home. Will not be returning and will not be recommending their services in the future.

Had my drive shaft fixed as well as a leak in my transmission coolant line, they had it diagnosed and fixed in a couple days, even with a previous wreck causing the work to be a little harder ! We specifically asked for the car to be fixed by a certain day and time & it was!! Highly satisfied!!! Highly recommended!!

Rachel was very helpful, kind and explained everything very well. They got the multiple problems fixed on my car (cooling system leaks and belt replacement) in a reasonable amount of time. When I went in to pick up the car Kyle was extremely nice, considerate and explained what they did in a thorough manner. I will definitely be taking my car back there and will recommend them to friends and family.

Had issues with my 2006 f150 running rough. Had it in one shop several different times, they never figured out what the problem was, after 2 weeks and 500. dollars later Woodys was recommended and they had it back to running like new the next day. I will be using this business again! They did great work in a timely manner.
