Rates just keep going up which end of itself is not my biggest complaint. But you would think that with as much as they charge after calling one week and being told that my busted container would be replaced that week when they picked up my trash and it wasn't and then we spoke to the driver the following week who made it a special trip back just to let us know to leave the cart at the curb because they were going to bring a new one and that didn't happen either. So for two weeks in a row we've been told we're getting a new container because ours is busted all the way down the front and it still hasn't happened. All in all I'm happy with their service, but not happy with the prices in light of not being able to get anything done when we actually need some help. And yeah they emptied the trash most of the time on time but that seems to be about as much customer service as they're able to maneuver.

Never had a problem!!! Waste Connections has always been very good to us. We have been with them for over 10 years and Yes they have raised their rates over that time. Who hasn't? Our container is sometimes over flowing and the lid is not shut tight. NO PROBEM! We have left up to 8 extra bags (nicely closed up) besides our container and all bags have aways been picked up. Once we left a bundle of twigs (again nicely tied up with a rope handle) NO PROBLEM! We live in East Wichita and I just left a good review for our driver on their site. I don't know why all the rates are different though. We pay $85 for three months. We don't do the recycle thing. Thats only $7 per pickup. in this day and age we don't think that's bad.

Will be canceling our service. We live on a dirt road & our trash comes on mondays. Our trash never came yesterday, so we waited and finally called today(Tuesday), they said due to the rain they couldn t come pick it up. No one called me to inform me. We live by a field where there are stray cats and possums constantly getting into our garbage. We do not have space to put our garbage anywhere else since we only pay for once bin. When I asked if they could get it as soon as possible she said no, that they would have to pick up the next Monday so we have to have to find a place to put TWO weeks worth of trash. They don t care about their customers. Seems like I m not the only person they have done this too. Good luck keeping customers. Every one else on my street with a different trash service still had their trash picked up even though it was raining except for ours.Don t get your trash service with them.

There doesn't seem to be anyway I can make a formal complaint against the service I have been provided recently.I have rural service and we pay annually for this service. Recently we have had some very bad roads due to weather conditions, I understand this, I LIVE on these roads and have to navigate them daily.My waste was NOT picked up on Friday. I received NO notification. My waste was NOT picked up on Saturday. I received NO notification. I called Monday morning and was told "Oh sorry we tried but the road condition made it impossible for us to pick up your trash." Well, thank you very much for the information and when will you be picking it up? OH, on the next pick up but we will pick up extra at no cost. OH WILL YOU!!! We have ONE waste container, we live in RURAL Kansas - with wild animals that would just love it if we left bags of garbage just sitting on the road so they could tear them apart and string trash everywhere! No refund offered. No extra container offered. No nothing but "we will pick up extra at no cost". WOW. I am disappointed and angry.

Be warned. If you cancel a service, they will charge you $25 to pick up your bin. They will not advise you that YOU CAN DROP IT OFF AT THEIR OFFICE FOR FREE! I was not advised that this was an option and the charged me for pick up and would not wave the fee.

Our family LOVES our driver! My 4 and 6 year old are crazy about trash trucks, so we're always out on the front porch watching pickup. Our driver never fails to wave to the kids, usually more than once. I've seen him maneuver carefully around obstacles, and he's always very careful and conscientious. Wouldn't change for anything!

The trash service itself has been fine for the past 5 years, but recently the prices have nearly doubled in a very short period of time. I understand prices needing to be raised as the US government has been trashing the economy since COVID, but this increase seems exorbitant and nearly every quarterly bill has an increase without warning.Now for the main issue. A few billing periods ago, due to the large increases, I called to cancel my service. In the call, the representative informed me that they match competitor's prices. They indeed matched the price of the service I was switching to, but then, in the following bills, immediately jacked the prices back up. That is deceptive in my opinion. I leave this review so others know not to expect whatever price you are initially quoted to be the price you have for long. Expect regular and large increases to your bill.

Always goes above and beyond! Fantastic service! Thank you to our driver today, 2/23/2024. We forgot to put our can to the curb last night. Woke up this morning to find our driver had so graciously pulled the can to the curb to ensure it was emptied. Fantastic service!

Price increases without obvious notifications. I called to ask why the price had gone up, and the woman said, "Well, the last paper you would have gotten from us has written on the last paragraph....." Really? Last paragraph? Well, that isn't shady at all. I understood her reasoning for the price hike. Inflation is affecting everyone. I get it. However, a little more transparency would have been appreciated. I canceled out of principle. Their service was not terrible, honestly. But I can't stay on board with this type of business ethic. Nope

I accidentally paid 12 months in advance before canceling part of my service I no longer wanted. Josie was super nice and helped me get my refund without any hesitation. It was nice to work with someone so professional, knowledgeable and kind.

Poor service, Lately we don t know which day our trash will get picked up. They have been late by one day once and 2 days a couple weeks ago. This week they didn t show at all and when we called about it, it was our fault. The cart has been sitting at the end of our driveway since 5 a.m. on Monday morning. That is supposed to be our schedule day.

They are constantly raising their prices on me. A small increase once a year I would understand but I m talking multiple times a year just randomly you will see your bills increase for no apparent reason whatsoever and, worst of all, no warning. No email, no text, no phone call, just a quiet hey, we feel like charging you more and you ll see on your credit card statement how much we decided on this time, and that s how you ll find out . If you call in and complain to do a price match they will lower it again but even that only works for about 2 quarters if you re lucky. If you re not lucky, it will revert back higher the very next quarter following the decrease. I ve never experienced anything like this and I don t see how it could even be legal to upcharge customers who are on autopay for a previously agreed to amount, with absolutely no warning. It all happened one too many times, my last bill was about 50% higher than when I first started with them. Insane! They are truly out of control! I m fed up with them and leaving ASAP. Do not use them, you will regret it!!

We moved to Wichita 2 years ago and set up our service with Waste Connections. Our cost for trash/recycling services has continually increased - we are now paying almost DOUBLE what we started at 2 years ago for the same exact services. It's a joke. They simply increase their prices whenever they want (mid-year, end of year, beginning of the year, it doesn't matter) and you aren't given any warning. The price just jumps. This last time it was from $96 per quarter to $114. I'm so tired of continually increasing prices with no options, no warnings and rude customer service when I call. We will be discontinuing service ASAP.

Our pickup man on our route is fantastic! We have never had a problem with trash pickup day. He gets everything, every time! Always on time and we have used them for over 13 years!

I just received this notice today saying my can was not 3ft away from my mailbox. I went outside and measured where I put my can, it measures 5ft. Attached are the measurements that I took. Have been putting my can in this spot since I first opened the account. See attached photos.

Horrible company. I am on Autopay and it was denied. They raised prices and I received this error "Your recurring payment was aborted due to the following reason: Bill amount is greater than max payment amount selected". Switching companies now.

Initially missed trash, pick up because of barking dog that was secured within a DogWatch invisible fence. Driver made a genuine effort but decided to get back in the truck. However, they came back 20 minutes later and picked up the trash. I am sure this set them back on their schedule. Many thanks and sincere appreciation for the extra effort and kindness to come back when the weather was bitterly cold.

Joke of a company. Do not try to call and cancel service, they will just re-deliver you a can, then bill you for pickup and drop-off along with 3 more months. Convenient they put in comments I was upset with service, but continued my pickup after I told them to cancel.

Our trash collector is great, never misses a trash day or anything that we set out for pickup. He also left a Christmas card for us on our waste bin. WC customer service is always professional and friendly any time I call them and they work with us on our rates.

Two things.... we have been on service for several years now, and as with a lot of things, the monthly rate has increased. However, it's darn near doubled..and with no warning. That being said, our biggest complaint is that our trash cart, is missed at least once a month now. It and our recycle cart is put out EVERY Monday night, after getting home from work, for Tuesday pick up. The recycle cart has been missed a couple of times and there was an argument, both times, that we'd have to wait for 2 more weeks. I ended that issue, the second time, by telling them that I'd end my service unless it was picked up the next day. First of all, they missed it (not my fault), Secondly, I pay for pick-up TWICE a month and lastly, it was full. The trash cart pick-up, however, has been a different story! It sits right next to the recycle cart. If it's seen, at the curb, 99.99% of the time, why isn't the trash cart? It just got picked up today, 3 days late. I'm always asked, when calling about it, if the carts were put out "early enough". My answer is always "they are put out the night before". This is getting really old and I will be switching companies if it happens one more time.

Can't believe the rating on Google honestly they charge 139.99 every 3 months for 5 bags and 1 95 gallon trash can initial rate was way lower and they just slowly raise it then when you call to cancel they magically can reduce it back to the starter price SHADY practice!

12/12/23The driver that picked up today has been driving my route on and off for about two years. He s always so pleasant. Little things like picking up a piece of trash that flew out of our can, pulling the trash can further into our driveway after he s picked up and waving hello with some quick small talk. It s the little things that make a difference. Can't say that I give waste connections 5 stars. We have had confusion about pick ups on and off since we built our with missed pick ups when there is a different driver. Finally ironing them out.

Out of no where with no warning they raised the rates on our service we called to cancel service because we found service $30 cheaper else where. We paid the fee for can pickup and account was supposed to be closed then 5 hours later they charged my card $99.18 for the next three months of service! When we called about the charge they told us that canceling service doesn't stop the autopay and it would be 6-8 weeks for the refund to get to our account!!! Never do business with these people!!!
