I was in town for a short time for a wedding when my check engine light came on and AC stopped working. I was able to get in right away, and they even stayed a little while after they were supposed to close for the afternoon to make sure that my car was safe for me to drive home. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional and I am so grateful!

I've been happy with my tires, but when I needed one repaired, I was told they don't make appointments for that. I would have to just show up and wait for an opening in the schedule. Needless to say, my tire still leaks because I can't spare a whole day to mess with it.

TRUSTWORTHY! I ve been coming to Tracy s automotive for years now. As someone who knows very little about vehicles, it s important for me to go to someone I can trust. They always shoot me straight, get me in quickly, and work with me to prioritize my needs to fit within my budget.Aside from excellent, affordable, and honest service, the shop is easy to access and always clean. The staff are friendly and the whole place just has a positive vibe. The shop manager, Adam L. is great!!

It is always expensive when you take a car to an auto shop. I have been to a lot of shops and frequently feel like I am being taken advantage of. Tracy's is NOT one of those shops. They are open and honest with customers and have reasonable rates for the great work they do. I will only be using Tracy's for my auto repair needs from now on.

I had no problem getting my vehicle checked in. The employees seemed nice. I knew my blazer needs a lot of work (front end suspension). When I received a call back letting me know what was all wrong with it basically 22 hundred dollars of work he says. I asked what does he suggest that I get done first. I am not financially able to get everything done at once. Long story short. I guess if I don't have it all they can suggest anything because each time they will have to align it. So I will take my vehicle to someone that doesn't mind fixing my vehicle a little bit at a time. The place is clean. I did call first to see if I needed to make an appointment and I did not.

I ended up with a flat tire just around the corner from this location. We took the tire off and took it to Tracy's. The gentleman who helped us told us they would get the tire fixed in about a half an hour, but took closer to 45 mins. Because we were first time customers, we were told that our service was free. The gentleman at the counter said, "The first one is on us!" Great experience with Tracy's. We would definitely use them again!

I don't know who does the hiring but everyone I've dealt with is first class. Adam, Patrick and now Austin who work at the front desk are so helpful in explaining if something needs to be done, and they are good communicators. I drop my car off in the morning and they call me when it's ready. Prices are reasonable, and if I need tires, they sell them. I've taken my car there since 2020 and the experience is consistently excellent. Best mechanic in town.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Had them install some after market. Headlights had issue with it and they wanted to charge me again to have them. Look at it even though the issue was that they just didn't follow the instructions

Adam at Tracy's is the nicest mechanic I have ever interacted with! He is always really honest about my car issues, the cost, over communicates with any updates. I have gotten oil changes for my vehicles at Tracy's for a couple years. Always great customer service and fair prices. Recently my brakes were squealing loudly and I went in to have new brakes and rotors installed. The tech and Shane at the front desk explained the brake pads only had glazing, fixed the problem and weren't in need of a replacement. This honesty saved me a lot of money and time. Would recommend this place for all auto service needs.Services: Brakes, Oil change

Tracy's Automotive saved the day! I was in the downtown area with a tire that was severely low, and almost flat. I was crunched for time and Adam worked me into their schedule. They were able to repair my tire in a timely manner and get me on my way so that I wouldn't be late (or stranded on the side of the road) for my next business appointment. Thank goodness! Adam and his staff were friendly, professional and prompt, without any fluff or pressure to add unnecessary services.Service: Tires

Patrick and Adam are both really awesome and trustworthy! We have taken all of our personal vehicles there for basic repairs and they are always upfront and honest with their information. I recommend everyone take their vehicles here for any repairs! Prices are very fair despite inflation causing everything to go up. Their recommendations on repairs always make sense and I don't feel like they are trying to take advantage of us. We were passing through Wichita on vacation and had trouble with shifting into park. A friend of a friend recommended Tracy s. Adam was terrific; the problem was diagnosed and repaired and we were on our way before noon. Great service and great people!

Best place ever, especially the man who works at the front he is so cool and kind . I had an issue with my turn signal due to disconnected wires and they fixed it in zero minutes for free . I really recommend checking them for your car issues

I don't like leaving not so good reviews.. but I was seriously unhappy with the work done on my 1999 Camry XLE.After they'd already had it a couple days, I finally get a quote..front and rear struts, rear sway bar bushing.. totalling just under $1800.Of course, they had some other things on the estimate, like timing belt/ water pump.. for $1300!Get my car back, steering wheel is off to the right and car pulled right.I've had this vehicle since 2016 and it was always straight.Took the car back to Tracy's.. lost another day of no car.When I picked my car up, the steering wheel was off to the left and the car still was pulling right.So I took it somewhere else to check the alignment.After checking that one against Tracy's, each one having a before and after, something should have at least been similar; they weren't.And the other shop pointed out something that I thought Tracy's could have caught.Although, I would not have had them attempt to fix it.Same with the timing belt/ water pump.. it's been taken care of somewhere else for $600.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Earlier this summer I was in Wichita for an ice skating competition, and on the morning I was to leave town I noticed one of my tires was making a concerning sound. I pulled in to Tracy's, and they were able to squeeze me in immediately. Their diagnosis took less than an hour, for which I was incredibly grateful (tire issues are concerning when you have a 12-hour drive ahead of you.) I ended up having a screw, which they removed, in my tire. The most amazing part of my experience at Tracy's, however, was that the auto workers did not charge me a penny for my visit. I could not believe their generosity and compassion, which they cited as a favor for someone visiting from out of town. Thanks to them, I made it back to Alabama safely. Although I was a stranger to Wichita, the specialists at Tracy's made me feel like I was a part of a family. Thank you so much again!Service: Tires

My dad is at Wesley and we're here from Ulysses ks. I had a tire losing air and from the reviews picked Tracy's. Fixed the tire and got me back on the road. Awesome service.

If I could give the owner of Tracy's a 0 star, I would. Good staff up to a point. We have had a vehicle serviced here for 2 years and they were very good. Front staff had been great. However, they left our vehicle sitting in their unsecured lot in the front of the store and the catalytic converter was taken after several days of it sitting there. (I wonder if a BMW would have been left up front instead of secured??). Police not notified of a crime and they would not offer their cameras to help. The excuse? They said they did not want to drive our vehicle and put it in their secured lot. However, they drove it to the secured lot AFTER a crime was committed and managed to move it into a bay to look at what work needed to be done and it was driven to the tow truck when we had it towed out of their possession. NOT ONE WORD from the owner. Oh, I am sure he will respond to this and try and explain why his staff did not even report the crime and he will work on taking no responsibility at all! I was told by the staff that "they were not allowed to". The police told me that ANYONE can report a crime. The staff also told me that "people jump their secured fence all the time and steal things". Really? Seems like not a safe place to leave a vehicle for work to be done. We towed ours to Christian Brothers. We are very very happy we switched! Won't be back to Tracy's! And, BTW, 3 weeks later, I have yet to receive a phone call from the owner despite my request to talk to him,....not even an apology!I will add this to my review in response to the owner s response:The insurance company contacted us to report they could have helped if you had reported it and had camera review. I don t have contempt for you. As I told you in the review, your staff and service have been good in the past. I asked for a phone call back 3 weeks ago when this occurred from YOU. You did not offer the respect of that return phone call. Since I have not even spoken with you, your response to my review is quite interesting. I speak the truth. Your location is not safe, you know it, and you knowingly left our vehicle in harm s way by not placing it in your secured lot, at the very least. I am not blaming you for theft. I have nothing to do with ruining your business or making it a success. I am simply writing a truthful review

Spent $182 on a PPI & they didn't even check to see if the 4wd works. Plus no written estimate on the repairs.

Our car wouldn't start one morning and Downtown Tracy's Automotive came to the rescue! Patrick answered the phone and was super nice & helpful. They arranged to have it towed within the hour and called shortly after with the diagnostic results. The price was very reasonable and Mike did everything that needed to be done. They even were able to deliver the car back to us at no charge!! They are the BEST!!

My teenage brother took his car to the shop as it was breaking down. The first time it went in they replaced some parts and my brother was able to drive it off. My brother was able to get the car down the road five minutes before the car broke down again. He then had it towed back to Tracys a second time in the same month where he thought it was his alternator. He asked them to remove the current one and replace it. They did complete this and again my brother picked up the vehicle and was able to drive it five minutes away before it broke down once again. I then took things into my own hands and had the car towed two hours to a different mechanic shop where within two days they were able to locate the problem and fix it. I then called and spoke to Tracy s asking for a partial refund as the work they did the second time was completely useless. They refused as they stated They did the work that was requested and if a customer does not request it to be done they will not do it. I am mind blown that they would take the word of a teenager instead of trying to find out what the actual problem is and their excuse for it not being requested is so frustrating as it is their job to find the problem and fix it.

We have been using Tracy's for years and continue to be impressed with the service and support we receive. Our most recent experience last week was just as good as the rest. One call, appointment made, vehicle dropped off, repairs made as requested and picked up the same day! The customer service is great. Prices are decent. But the biggest win is, they don t find random things as a problem to up-charge your service. I recommend their business.

I had a wonderful experience. My car had an unusual tire that I needed to have patched and they were able to fix it and rotate my tires. They didn't even charge for the patch. Such a convenient location if you work downtown, but even if you don't, they offer to drive you to work or home after dropping off your car. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend them!

Took my Jaguar in for rear air shock replacement due to air suspension fault. Assumed the rear shocks were the problem. They replaced the shocks and then said I needed a new module for $450 as well because it had faults showing. They put the new module in and now it is stuck way too high with the new module. Then they said it needed calibrated by Jaguar or somewhere else . BTW, IT RIDES LIKE A MAC TRUCK EXTRAORDINARILY ROUGH and is UNDRIVEABLE. The tires rub on the front bottom wheel wells when it bounces. Then they said air shocks aren t our speciality take it somewhere else . Well it has been undriveable for the last 4 months, sitting on my driveway. Worthless. They could have put the old module in and it would have at least been close to normal. What a waste and danger.I DON'T CARE WHAT THEIR REPLY TO THIS REVIEW IS. THEY LEFT ME HANGING WITH AN UNDRIVEABLE CAR. The front shocks were done by Meineke and they turned out fine, it was Tracy's installation of the rear shocks that everything went wrong. THEY REPRESENTED THEMSELVES AS BEING ABLE TO DIAGNOSE IT AND REPAIR IT WITH THE 30-POINT INSPECTION. NEXT TIME JUST ADMIT YOU CANNOT DO AIR SUSPENSION VEHICLES WITH ANY COMPLEXITY TO THEM. They put in the module saying that would solve the problem after still showing an air suspension fault. So they said with the the faults the old module was showing they put in a new module ... SO ...they are LYING when they say they put it in with the warning that I would need to go-to Jaguar to get it programmed and that I agreed under those circumstances to install the module. The TRUTH IS It was after I was stuck with the module that they said "oh you'll need to go to Jaguar to get that taken care of" ALSO, THEIR ANSWER FOR IT RIDING HIGH AFTER MODULE REPLACEMENT WAS ... "OH IT'LL GO DOWN ON ITS OWN IF YOU DRIVE IT FOR 5 MINUTES", OMG !! WHICH IT DOES'NT, BTW. I DROVE IT AROUND FOR 20 TO 30 MINUTES AND NOTHING CHANGED. IT STAYS STUCK HIGH LITERALLY A FOOT TOO HIGH WITH AN INSANELY ROUGH and unsafe RIDE!!ALSO, A SIDE NOTE, THEIR TIRE PRICES ARE 20% HIGHER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE BECAUSE "THEY'RE A PRIVATE, SMALL BUSINESS" AND CAN'T COMPETE WITH CHAINS LIKE DISCOUNT TIRE, TIRES PLUS, AND OTHER CHAINS AROUND TOWN. Save hundreds of dollars and go somewhere else for tires . JUST FYI FOLKSServices: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I'm a 15 year loyal customer of Tracy's Automotive. I have always been satisfied with the quality and timeliness of their work. The diagnosis by their technicians has always been spot on and I've never had to return with the same problem. I have owned several types of vehicles over the years and they have worked on all of them with quality results, which speaks to the highly trained and talented employees. I highly recommend Tracy's to anyone. I look forward to the next 15 years and more.
