After totaling our Dodge Caravan in New Mexico, upon our return home to SE Kansas, we stopped in at Mid West Kia. Big Al was our sales person and spent quality time explaining the Carnival to looking for. We actually got to test drive a used 2022. (Which wasn t available to us in Lawrence).Loved it! We began talking about a 2024 model and with Big Al we ordered one . The delivery date was always getting pushed back, BUT after about 5 weeks of waiting, we got a call from Big Al. One was available for immediate purchase. His caring and detailed texting was fantastic, as we live 150 miles east of Wichita so detailed, that we said sold via text! My wife and I drove to Wichita about 3 days later and finalized the deal and when we arrived, Big Al had a big red bow on top of our beautiful new Carnival. Great people, even greater Vehicle! Sales reps are awesome to work with. Everything about buying the car was easy and stress free for the most part.However service department is always booked, I spent a pretty penny there on a Telluride and for them not to be able to look at my broken door (still under warranty) for over 2 months. Be aware before you buy here. They refuse to look at it until after May.

I'm only giving two stars because the sales people went above and beyond to try and help us out, including picking us up to view a vehicle at the dealership. Thank you, TJ and Saul for your outstanding customer service.However, I'm appalled at the rates they were trying to give us for a nearly 10 year old used vehicle with 138k on the odometer. The listed price was 10,991. We were going to put 5k down, which is half of the car's value. I understand we have bad credit and no prior vehicle purchasing history (from dealerships) but 400 a month, for 39 months, with half of the vehicle paid off already?? Is that a joke? Apparently, that's 28% APR. Right. If you take the time to do the math, I would have put 5k down on the vehicle, then ended up paying 16,000 over the course of three years to pay the loan back. That's ridiculous, even with bad credit. I may have a bad or nonexistent credit history, but I'm not bad at math. I'll be doing business elsewhere.

My sales guy was calm , not pushy, and very respectful. All in all was a good experience. Besides the final monthly bill ! but I am still happy with how the dealership has improved for the last few years from the chaos that it use to be when I worked there for couple of months.

I am so disappointed in Midwest Kia. I have been a loyal new car buyer for years. Upon wanting to sell my 2018 low mileage car, they quite literally offered me the least out of 5 local quotes I received! Given the model (Driven off the show room floor), trim, condition and mileage of my car, it was certain to be washed, detailed and sold again making them more money. Even upon speaking with them further about my loyalty with them, they wouldn't even increase their offer a penny. They demonstrated to me that my years of business with them had no value. When a business fails to value your loyalty, simply take your dollars elsewhere.

Marcus over at Midwest Kia did an amazing job and was very helpful with my car buying experience. I d definitely go back and recommend him. I ve been screwed over by other dealerships in the past and I m currently dealing with one of those dealerships on my other car. But Marcus made it feel like home. I told him the Kia I wanted. But he was upfront and honest with me that I d probably have similar issues with it that I m having with my equinox. So we agreed on a 2022 Kia soul and I m in love with it!Thank you so much Marcus Wise!

Diego was our salesman I honestly couldn t have asked for a better one. He remembered everything I wanted in the vehicle and delivered and he was very polite never shoved us off as a lost cause. He did his darndest to find what we wanted. Diego and the finance team got us where we wanted payment wise without the pressure and back and forth and I will be back. In all the years of buying cars this was by far the most pleasant and stress free experience!

From the moment I drove onto the parking lot I was greeted, and attended as soon as I got out of my car. A salesperson attended me led me directly to Max(the person I was there to see) without trying to talk me into buying a car through him-which I have encountered at other car dealerships. Max Romero was very informative and helpful, his sense of humor was a bonus. The financing guys had me in and out as fast as they could. This was truly the easiest car buying experience I ve ever had. Thank you guys, I will definitely use Max at Midwest Kia for any future vehicle purchases.****UPDATE****Liked this place SOO much I went back to upgrade! Check out the peepers on this 2024 KIA Niro Hybrid look almost as good as the 53mpg Thanks Max Romero & Joe Konen for always being so great to me

Had 4 new tires put on Friday, Drove about 100 miles and front tire went flat for no reason. Contacted Kia and told them what happened. They connected me with voice mail. Had to go elseware and buy a new tire. They stink. Your right, apparently the weight came off. Hopefully the other 3 tires hold up.

My service advisor, Chuck Ewing is always ready & able to explain everything that was being done to the vehicle, along with supplying paperwork showing in detail work performed. Love the car wash machine they have. Does a great job! Also seen my salesman, Trent who sold me my car and remembered everything about the sale after 3 yrs. Kia is a wonderful place to buy a vehicle and then receive excellent service on the vehicle as needed.

Went to Midwest Kia almost a month ago to trade in my last car. I worked again with Big Al there & he was once again excellent to work with in helping me find a reliable & safe car. I had gotten a Kia Soul this time around.About 3 weeks ago since I got the car, I didn't have to put gas in the car until just recently, so it's amazing on gas mileage. That was a really big perk with it, amongst many other things.Al helped me so much with valuing my trade-in & answering any questions I had. Like it says on his business card here, he really is "The Dealmaker" & I'm really glad I got a great deal with him. I definitely recommend his business!

Experienced some frustration with the service department, but it was an otherwise okay experience.My vehicle was sent here after it had been stolen. They kept having to order new part after new part to repair the theft damage. After all was set and done, it took about 1 1/2 months to fix. After it was repaired, they installed the anti-theft update, which malfunctioned, thus preventing my car from starting at all. At that point, it became the fault of Kia, so some sort of compensation or being offered a loaner car would have been appreciated. Instead, my car just sat in the shop for another month, only being told "Sorry for the inconvenience", before I finally had to ask for a loaner vehicle due to no longer having any form of transportation. At that point, I was supplied with a loaner vehicle for the next two weeks until my car was finally diagnosed and fixed by an outside field tech. So, in total, my vehicle was in the shop for three months, close to 1 1/2 months of that being due to the software update malfunction. Again, if they had offered some sort of compensation or loaner car for that month and a half, I wouldn't have had an issue with any of it. It seemed as if being a respectable customer and not throwing a fit about it worked against me as they didn t feel the need to make any effort to offer assistance, until a month later when I requested the loaner. I will add that neither the service advisor, nor the mechanic who worked on my car weren't in any way rude throughout it all. The communication and the explanation of what was going on was acceptable.As for the dealership, I ended up trading in my vehicle. The salesman who I worked with, Trent Follis, was awesome! Typically with dealerships, there is a lot of acting going on, but Trent's attitude through it all seemed genuine. I spent about 3 hours at the dealership, and as usual, there were uncomfortable moments. However, considering it was my first time doing it all on my own, it could have been worse. Though they are a business and will try to get as much as they can out of you, I didn't feel as if they were overly pushy throughout any of it. Then again, I know what I'm hoping to get and I'm not usually a hard sell.All things considered, if it hadn't been for the frustrating service department experience, this review may have been five stars. If you are in the market for a vehicle, I do recommend giving them some consideration and don't forget to ask for Trent!

Walked in and met Big Al. Told him what i was looking for and he took me to the cold parking lot. Narrowed it down and he sent me home with a few window stickers. Next day he found 3 cars to choose from and signed me up. Very knowledgeable about the product and life in general!

I bought a brand new Sorento and it has been in the shop two separate times over the last year. Both times it has taken over a month of sitting at the service center before they could get around to fixing the issues. Both were electrical issues that left my vehicle unusable. No loaner cars are available so you are on your own finding a ride for the entire time it sits at the shop. Plan on scheduling your oil change at least a month or two in advance before it actually needs it as well. The wait to get your vehicle in is ridiculous and shouldn't have to be without a vehicle for this long when the vehicle was bought brand new that year

If in the market for a new car, great place! Israel and Saul were knowledgeable, communicative and above all friendly! I chose to put a hold on a vehicle that was inbound to dealership. It arrived early which was so nice as I no longer had my old Kia since it had been totaled due to flooding. Financing department worked well with explaining warranties and working with what I was willing to pay. This will now be my second Kia and I couldnt be happier!

Walked not really sure if I was going to be able to buy . Frist time buyer. Never have brought a car without my mom. But the staff at midwest kia were super easy and helpful. Quick and fast process. They made sure I was taken care of . They went the extra mile to find me the lowest rate possible. Pently of new and used car priced to sell. I would recommend friends and family to midwest kia! Honestly any of the sale people would be amzing to work with ! Very up front about everything. They don't try and hide and sneak around . So you know exactly what your paying for . I would highly recommend Trent as your Finance person ! Super helpful and make whatever your signing off on easy to understand during all the whole process!

I bought a 2019 Kia Optima in 2021 and I LOVED my experience and have LOVED my car and follow up support from the staff.Upon my first visit at the dealership I was greeted on the lot by the salesman Victor Tran. After many hours and a few test drives, Victor was able to find the perfect car for me while getting me a great deal & warranty. Robert also made my purchase extra special by preparing the car & filling up the tank!A few months back, on my way home I blew a couple tires and unfortunately was without any spares. Kia was able to set me up with a tow to the dealership, the next day Victor assisted me in placing the new-used tires I had bought, and the service department got me aligned within the hour. Talk about above and beyond customer service!I ve recommended friends & family to this dealership (always with a special shout out to Victor on the sales team) and can say they ve made my first car buying experience a breeze.

I was absolutely amazed with the customer service I received from Cody. I m glad I made the better choice of purchasing my new Kia K5 from here. The only down fall I had was the wait. The day I walked in to make my pre-order Cody was right there to help ! I told him exactly what I was wanting in a car and he listened to all of my needs and wants ! I seriously would 100% recommend him to help you with your new purchase. He touched base with me all the way through and still continues to check on me to make sure I m not having any issues! Not only do I recommend Cody as the salesman but Mid West Kia was super great as well. Made the whole paperwork process super smooth. And just putting it out there they NEVER once hassled me on buying anything when I started my search for a new car. Thank y all so much for helping me purchase my new Kia k5 ! I couldn t have made a better choice!

I'm a Chevy girl and I found myself test driving a Kia and leaving the same day with one! I had a great experience thanks to Julian Mayagoitia! Very friendly! He did not push me into anything! He helped me find something I really liked with everything I wanted in it! He still reaches out to see if everything is going great and if I have any questions or need help with anything! Don t try to get pre-approved online unless you re okay will pointless credit inquiries. They did one and then told me nothing. Israel literally sent me a blank email template with nothing on it and said we can t give you vehicle options, you just have to come in. What s the point of the pre-approval if you get nothing from it? Other companies don t even do inquiries and will give you detailed terms and vehicle options. Very annoying and terrible service.

Worked with Big Al Holmes. He was easy to work with, very knowledgeable about all the KIA vehicles and did not pressure us to buy the car or for any add on's. He answered all of our questions and he was up front about everything. Very refreshing when dealing with sales people. This is my first purchase of a KIA and I highly recommend Midwest Kia and Big Al!

My husband Tom & I bought a new Kia Sportage yesterday with Isaias Moreno a expert help. We were very impressed with Isaias. He was very knowledgeable about both models we looked at and explained each featurein detail. He demonstrated the features during our test drive and showed us exactly how each feature worked and addressed all our questions. We had not intended on buying a car yesterday but guess what ..my husband drove our new Midnight gray Kia Sportage home! Your company is blessed to have Isaias on your sales team! We enjoyed our time with him and valued his friendliness and his willingness to negotiate a price for our trade-in car and our new car. It s alright to frustrating.I purchased a 2016 optima from them roughly 6 years ago which was new just not the same years model (had like 30 miles on it from test driving).Instantly went south for my taste as there was a large dent in the door I didn t notice until the next day in the sunlight (was a white care).Took back and told them got a well that why your supposed to look it over before you leave .After that (they fixed the dent along with the broken mirror they hit coming out of the show room) their service was meek. Always a month behind it seems then in the last few month, my optima started stalling at red lights, burning oil too fast, and idled rough at 70k miles.Had to go through a change oil (had to pay for), seal it up, then drive 1000 miles and bring it back. Did this two times because the oil light still came on over 1000 miles before next service.Anyways, you can try your hand and Kia still has good ratings as for vehicles (although a lot of rating deal with looks, technology, and price) but I just traded my paid of Kia for a Subaru
