I purchased a high mileage car and took it to L&M Auto Repair for an inspection along with a few maintenance items.Staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I was informed on the progress throughout the repairs and on stuff that needed attention. Communication was great via text or call. Pricing was exactly as estimated.During the repair service I was offered a ride home with their shuttle service so I didn t have to order an Uber or bother anyone to pick me up. Things happen and when the repair was not able to be completed on the same day I was offered a loaner car.All said, my first time experience with L&M was satisfactory!

L&M has been a corner stone of excellance! I go back when there where only 2 stalls on a dirt road on 43rd Street. I buy all of many trailer hicthes & intallation on all of my new cars. The last one I purchased is a 2024 Nissan Rouge SV. The whole experiece with L&M is always better than Dealers, which by the way they don't like to do that. From the 1st call to their last follow up was very friendly & professional. No matter what you drive they will take care of it. I always tell them to take care of my baby! No dents, scratches..ha.ha

L&M got me in the day after I called when the dealers in town were two weeks out and no flexibility of working me in for an appointment, one of the Ford dealers in Wichita not even calling back when promised. L&M has a professional mom and pop type feel. I had to get some electrical work done on my truck, and L&M s experience had no problem taking it head on without making me change an alternator. Reasonably priced, good people, go try them out if you live anywhere in the Wichita area. PS. Great oil change prices too!

I had a pretty decent experience here, my car was difficult to diagnose and caused stress for everyone all around. Once I started interacting directly with the mechanic my stress levels went down dramatically, he was wonderful, calm, respectful, and understanding. This would be a five star review, however the failure to communicate from the people running the place with the mechanics led to my car being there days longer than if they d notified the mechanic about the old codes. BUT I would recommend this shop for affordable, well done, car repairs.

L&M is bar one of the best auto shops in Wichita. Honest and caring. They don t work on something of it doesn t need fixed or repaired. If you need work done definitely trust them with your car.

They have worked on more than 1 of my vehicles a 2007 and a 2010 Land Rover Range Rover looked at my 2004 Dodge Ram and did an excellent job on all of them service was top of the line including the price cheaper than the dealership. Receptionist Trish was patient with me Taylor was the same and very knowledgeable about what was wrong with my vehicles and Nick did a great job driving me from the shop to my house and back to the shop while they were working on my vehicles great job to them and there mechanics. All being said from 0 being worst to 10 being the best I give them a 10.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto exhaust system repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection

Great staff. I have used them for almost 3 years. Are they pricey, yes. Are the honest? 100%. No surprises when quoted. Better than any dealership in town. Period.

Take your rig here, they will not add to any frustration. My best compliments and that sign is correct... reputation is the ball game. It was a sad pathetic sign but there it was, happy to report service way out shines the condition of the sign.

Very good experience! We were on a trip from Florida to Kansas and Illinois and Smoky mountains and back to Florida. We drove up through the night and noticed that our tires which were brand new, were slightly unbalanced and were shaking the heck out of us the whole way up. These guys fit us in pretty quick after we walked in and told them what was happening and they balanced our tires and inspected the suspension and other things and test drove this truck. It was a very good experience and they were very knowledgeable and polite! Their bathroom was also recently redone and it was the nicest and cleaner bathroom that we had seen since we left our house in Florida!

Best shop by far! Fast work and wonderful customer service. They are great at keep you updated on your vehicle. I had a major repair and it only took one day and they also cleaned my car before pick up.

I took my hyundai to L&M they did a full inspection and gave me detailed paperwork recommending I take it to the dealership, I got the engine replaced because it was beyond repair. L&M didn't charge me anything. I will recommend them to family and friends!

Deleting my old review. I brought my car in a few months ago for two issues. One was fixed (as far as I can tell), the other was not by any means. "Full diagnostic" missed items that were obvious to better mechanics like a bent rotor and took almost a week. Owner reached out to me and offered excuses instead of trying to fix anything. Now I get to pay another shop to fix their work on top of more stuff they missed. As evidenced by the response to this, owner is more interested in arguing and trying to disprove complaints than making any effort to address them. Shop is a shell of what it was under previous ownership and in all one of the worst experiences I've had with a mechanic.

Highly recommended L&M Auto Repair ! They do not try to over sale car repairs. They provide pictures and videos of the recommendations instead of verbal recommendations. The staff was great to work with. I will definitely be going back for any future car repairs.

They were very professional and did a great job with my repairs. They made the whole process very easy and I would go back and recommend this shop to anyone. They were able to use my car s warranty through the dealership was super easy they did everything! Great location and very clean looking inside and out. Car drives great and appreciate the time they took to do it right. Car drives amazing and they get 5 stars!!!

The team at L&M don't just makes your car care there first priority, you yourself as well. They takes your worry's away while they focus on making sure your vehicle is being taking care of. My Chevy Traverse was my only car a while back, and there was some electrical problems going on with it and it caught on fire, under the hood, I thought it was a lost, but a friend of mine saw my worry all over my face, she said I know a company that can fix that for you , I said but it's a lost, she said trust me. She gave me there number, and now it's 2024 I still have my Chevy Traverse and it runs like new. Thanks guys you guys did the unbelievable job to what myself and the firer department thought was a lost.I wouldn't trust anyone with my babies (Cars) but L&M.You guys are the best.Paula Smith, Eric Story

After years of frustration with multiple mechanics failing to diagnose and resolve an issue, L and M Auto Repair turned out to be our saving grace. They were fast and friendly but absolutely scalped me on the price and tried to upsell me on a ton of stuff I didn't need. I would use them in a pinch but recommend finding someone more trustworthy as your main mechanic.Edit: I suppose I should specify that within 2 weeks of getting my car repaired at L&M I had to take my car in to the mechanics again and have them correct the repairs. This mechanic charged me a third of the price of L&M, and stated that their price for a simple fix was insane. My 26 year old Taurus did have issues that could cause problems down the line, and I was informed of these, after I demanded to know why they were going to charge me roughly $2000 for repairs. After a little arguing over the phone I was able to get my car back with just the repairs that were relevant to the start up issue that I originally brought it in for. My regular mechanic let me know that the ball joints and shocks could become an issue maybe 6 months down the line.

L&M recently did repairs on my husbands 2013 Chevy Equinox.Communication was on pointPricing was exactly what youd expect for automotive repairs.Documentation is probably the best Ive ever seen.Great Customer Service, Respectful, Nice, Answered Every Question and Even documented those questions and answers.

Had my 2006 Chevy Duramax towed to the shop on Tuesday evening would crank but would not start. I figured fuel pump they had it fixed Wednesday, not the fuel pump, had an air leak and vapor locked the fuel system. It would have taken me several days a lot of cussing and way too much money trying to piece meal parts trying to fix it. So I highly recommend L&M honest mechanics good work and worth the money.

This was for sure the best auto repair shop I ve been to. The customer service was EXCEPTIONAL, the team was friendly, and I didn t get that slimy feeling when I left like I d just been ripped off. I truly felt like L&M cared about me as a customer and treated my vehicle as if it was their own. Thank you, I will be returning :)

My mom discovered L&M in 2021 when she was visiting me from Topeka and her truck broke down. L&M came and got her truck and towed it for free to their shop, diagnosed the issues and fixed it all for a much more affordable price than dealerships. Come to find out they work on luxury vehicles like Cadillac, so I decided to try them out instead of Eddy's! Everyone is so nice, are very knowledgeable and actually walk you through what is going on with your car. They don't try to scam you or talk you into services you don't need or things that can wait. They understand not everyone just has money laying around to pour into their vehicles. As a woman who doesn't know much about cars, I absolutely trust L&M mechanics and staff to do the right thing by me. Also, I love the convenience of their drop off/pickup box for your key. I get off work right when they are closing, so the drop off/pick up is such an awesome thing so I can still use their great services!

I needed a 2nd opinion after having a large local dealership try to diagnose engine noise. What L&M found not only saved me thousands of dollars I now no longer needed to purchase a new car. The Honestly & Integrity Ive Experienced with L&M's Crew is no joke. They do what they say & say what they do. I am very impressed. I will be taking My car back to them for all of my future needs preventive or other.

Where do I begin, terrific business. Every time we have taken our chevy cruze in to get fixed. The guys at L&M have been up front with us everytime.they do not pressure you on getting everything fix right away they will suggest on what needs fix "now" and what can wait. Thanks again team l&m for getting up back on the road

I would recommend l&m automotive to anyone and everyone. I needed a new radiator put in my Jeep Grand Cherokee being on social security my income is limited. They work with me on the cost they did the work made payments to them and they got me back on the road it took 2 months because I needed to get the money to pull together but they worked with me they were great.Services: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance

I brought my Chevrolet Malibu here after a terrifying mechanical issue and rude experiences with other places in town. The staff was extremely understanding and got my car in the same day, explained to me each step they were taking and had great communication in between about the condition of my car and what was needed immediately and what could wait. Knowing that being without a car wasn't an option I was able to receive a loaner car from their shop. Jordan was very knowledgeable and willing to answer every question I had. Misty the receptionist was very kind upon arrival and offered lots of assurance during the process. They also offer a shuttle service to come get you when your car is ready and while it's in the shop. I highly recommend this company and will be taking my cars here for future work.Services: Electrical repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Vehicle Inspection, Auto battery maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance
