I m always skeptical when trying out a new shop. I went in for an oil change, inspection and alignment. The inspection was the most thorough I ve had at an Audi specialty shop. The tech said the car is in great shape and he doesn t expect any issues anytime soon. Good service, good prices, good peace of mind.

I have so much gratitude for being referred to German Motor Works. My good friends recommended that I see Jonny about my Audi. His team members are kind and professional. Upon arrival I couldn t help but notice how nice the facility was and how passionate the technician felt towards vehicles and his work. The technician seemed confident; but, I was still skeptical. After picking up my vehicle and while I was driving I noticed a significant improvement with accelerating; it was so much more smooth and gratifying. I was truly impressed and I couldn t be more happy with the experience. I highly recommend German Motors to all.

Fair prices, Good work, but do not plan for an appointment time to mean anything. Best to leave it and wait for them to call if at all possible.

I never take the time to leave reviews but Johnny deserves it. I have been taking my BMW here since 2019. This place was recommended to me by a close friend and from the first appointment until now I have not one complaint. Johnny is an expert mechanic and runs a pristine shop. He has gone out of his way to help me out multiple times and even not charged me for items I had him fix that others would have. His prices are very reasonable and he is always able to quote me in advance for the work and even months later when I finally bring it in its the exact same price he said it would be. He never tries to have you get more work done than you actually need, which was my experience with all dealerships or repair shops before finding German Motor Works. I consider him a good friend as he is trustworthy and honest. I will never have my cars worked on anywhere else. My BMW has not had a single issue outside of normal oil/filter changes or minor repairs since Johnny started overseeing my cars maintenance. Which is approx. 70k miles under his watch so far. Was recommended to come here after I had issues dealing with other mechanics and dealerships, was of the mind going in that they were all crooked and here wouldn't be any different. I am so thankful that I was wrong. Johnny and the rest of the staff are truly amazing. Great with communicating and great work. I won't bring a vehicle anywhere else and I've been a customer of his for over a year. Not long I know but I almost never used a shop more than once prior to coming here. We have great experiences with honesty and quality of service by Johnny and his staff. We bring all three of our Porsche cars here for service. We have been using German Motors for years, and will continue to use them. Very reliable service and goes above and beyond to help in many ways. Jonny is the absolute best. I wouldn't take my VW or Porsche to anyone else. German Motor Works does an outstanding job, the staff is great, and the rates are incredibly fair. I have zero confidence in our VW dealer, and I'm terrified to let people work on my Porsche, but with Jonny I don't think twice. If you need someone you can trust with your baby, this is the place.

Booked an alignment and advised that I would wait on it and would prefer to sit in vehicle during service. Was told OK at that time. Several weeks later I arrived and mentioned it to the tech greeting me. No rebuttal at that time about sitting in car. Pulled up to rack and owner came out declining request claiming insurance regs. No problem. Ask if he had weights for the seat. He said my car didn't need them unlike a BMW and No, he didn't have weights. This type of info needs to be relayed to potential customer at time of booking. Disappointed and waste of a day off from work.

I was referred to German Motor Works by a trusted friend of mine, who praised their continual work on his plethora of German made vehicles. I canceled my appointment with one of their service competitors and promptly scheduled an oil change with German Motor Works. They were busy enough to reinforce my confidence in their abilities, but not so busy that I wasn't able to schedule an appointment in a convenient time frame. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by the secretary (Gal working the front desk) They immediately took my keys and got to work. I enjoyed the atmosphere and fashionable magazines in the small waiting area. I waited a mere 35 minutes before my BMW was pulled up to the front door. The price was very satisfactory compared to Walter's. My overall visit was short and sweet, something I value highly with my busy schedule. I am grateful this shop was recommended to me, and I would gladly recommend it to my friends and family.

Awesome experience! Had a turbo and timing chain replaced on a 2010 MINI. Jonny is knowledgeable and professional. Prices were very reasonable. The quality workmanship comes with a warranty. Seriously could not be happier with the service and expertise I received at German Motor Works.I posted on Facebook looking for a place to take my prized 1965 Chevy C10 show truck. German Motor Works came highly recommended. I called and was able to book an appointment for the same week. The morning of my appointment it rained and I had to call and cancel, as I don't drive my truck on wet surfaces. They were great and rescheduled me for the next week.Brought my truck in as I had just installed all new suspension and the front end was way out of spec. Jon was super to deal with and really went above and beyond in researching the specs from 1965 as well as the new aftermarket suspension products I installed. The final product is PERFECT. My old truck drives straight down the road and the steering wheel is perfectly on center.Johnny the owner had to order in shims to complete my alignment was great about getting the parts ordered in and installed.Highly recommend German Motor Works in Wichita for all of your alignment services. I would also guess if you own a German import there is no better place to go for service.Forgot to mention that the work area of the shop was as clean as my home. This is absolutely not an old greasy auto repair shop. The attention to cleanliness shows and if they spend that time and attention to keeping the shop clean think of the attention to detail they will put into the work on your car.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Johnny is the best that s all I have to say. There is a reason he s known as the Car Ninja. He has many many years of experience under his belt, so with that you know he will take care of you. His team is extremely knowledgeable. I don t trust my cars with no other body shops in town and that is the honest truth.

Thanks to Johnny and the team for a fantastic job on my Z8. He replaced my valve cover gaskets and rebuilt my windshield wiper motor when he couldn't find a replacement. It might sound crazy, but I shipped my car to him from Washington, and it actually cost less to get it fixed with him and ship it than it would have been to fix it with much sketchier shops closer to home. He's the master, and super easy to work with. 6 stars!

Johnny is amazing. Best mechanic I have ever spoken to out of all my years. Honest, Kind, whole hearted and wholesome. Not only is the business ran great but the employees are great too. Johnny is an internet celebrity due to his appearances on Hoovie's Garage as the Car Wizard. The name is appropriate, as he is an incredibly talented technician, specializing in European cars. His pricing is excellent compared to dealers. Highly recommended.

Johnny is amazing! After dealing with another luxury car specialist and not being completely satisfied, a friend recommended German Motor Works. Johnny diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary part and had it fixed immediately. He explained everything to me and took care of a few other simple issues free of charge. He certainly knows his craft, is very reasonable with his pricing, is professional and friendly. I ll be taking my vehicles to GMW from here on out!!

Absolutely professional in the way they spoke to me. My experience with them was hassle free and they ordered the battery for me so they loaned me one of theirs until it arrived so I definitely have nothing to complain about. When my battery arrived they called me so I went in the next day and he started to work on my car immediately upon my arrival. I am using this place again for sure. I recommend them 100 percent also they charge a very fair price and show you on the sheet what they are charging for so definitely fair.Services: Electrical, Battery
