What a joke! My kid that is still in highschool has more automotive knowledge and skill than this whole shop combined. Gary would roll over in his grave if he knew what this shop has turned into..... Go home and Let the real professionals do what they do, you and your team have no place in this industry.

Who ever I spoke to on the phone was very rude. They did give me some good information. Maybe a receptionist might be an asset here.

I have mixed feelings about Bear Automotive. I had a couple thousand worth of repairs done here over time, and its all held up fine over the years, but there have been points of concern along the way.One time bringing in my car I was, among other things, looking for an opinion on a very loud transmission rattle that's virtually impossible to miss. They somehow forgot I asked about it, and also didn't notice when test driving? I had to point it out after the fact before they realized anything was off. Makes me wonder what else they miss.More recently, my wife got an older hybrid vehicle. I know Bear can sometimes be a bit choosy in what work they pick up, so we only called them up for some pretty standard, non-hybrid-specific issues, like a wheel bearing or a water pump. For both issues, they refused to work it. With the water pump especially, they made it clear the issue was that they refuse to work on any hybrids if the work is even mildly technical. They did refer me to a good shop for the job, but they also cleared the engine codes as well, so I couldn't show the next shop the error, which seems like a major misstep to me. Luckily, I'd written down the engine codes from a previous mechanic so I didn't lose it, but others may not have been so lucky.Everyone I've interacted with at Bear has been nice, and the work they actually performed has been without issue, but the way they go about their business makes it more and more difficult for me to utilize their services. At this point, I'm giving up on them as my go-to mechanic as they simply refuse to do the sort of work that I need done.

I had my car towed to them for $70 , and made sure that they could work on my type of car . After assuring me they could i got a call hours later saying its beyond there expertise. So another l$70 dollar tow and the place closes early doesn't notifies me at all. Then go down too get my key since couldn't get when theu closed early, he tries charging me $139 and not the $80 agreed on. How is it you can not fix anything cost me $220 total and still be ok with how you cheat people and make your money .

This team is amazing. They talk to you like you're family not just a price tag. They take the time to show you what is wrong , before they do anything . Highly recommend this shop for all your automotive needs...

Very friendly personal. Great priced and really fast service. Drop truck off for front end alignment, went to look at a car and they called saying truck was done.
