I had extensive work performed on my vehicle. This was my first time using All American Automotive. Even though I spent a considerable amount of money, I am thoroughly satisfied. Chuck made me feel like I was one of the family. My vehicle is a 2002 and hasn't had any major work done in a while. I feel like this was an investment in extending the life of my vehicle. Highly recommended.

Chuck is the man. They have always been fair to me and honest. I started going to them probably 2 years ago when they saved me $600 from a misdiagnosis from another shop.

I won't be going anywhere else with my vehicles. I've only ever received quality labor with top notch customer service. I've never felt ignorant for asking questions or pressured to agree to services that I didn't understand. Good job gentlemen on creating a pleasant automotive experience

UPDATE: A month later and about 6000 miles my very expensive front tires are severely worn and my steering wheel is off center. Absolutely no way they did this alignment correctly. If I was going to charge someone over double what fair market value is, I d atleast make sure it was correct. I am a small business owner/operator and I rely on my truck to do my job. So add the time and money lost on having to do this again to the original price gouge and I will be taking quite a hit to the pocket book. Changing my rating to one star for lack of pride in their work at minimum.Staff is polite. No issue with personnel or facility. 2006 Chevy Silverado. I needed an alignment on somewhat short notice(same day, dropped off at 11A) The alignment is, for all intensive purposes, aligned. My issue is that I paid $250 for AN ALIGNMENT!!!!! After I replaced my front end parts. Everything was clean, broke free, and new. No reason that it should have been difficult, regardless of how far out of spec it was. I was charged for a modified vehicle and I don t have a single aftermarket suspension part on my truck other than KYB shocks. And to boot, it still isn t right. Absolutely insane. 250 dollars?!?!?! And you had the audacity to send it back to me less than perfect?! I feel like y all saw an opportunity to make a extra buck and took advantage of me.

I went to the 21st location because my driver door would not stay shut. They told me it typically is about an hour of labor and the part if needed. They called me shortly after dropping it off and told me I needed a new latch. That the only way to get it was through the dealer. It was going to cost me nearly $600!! I told them I don t have that kind of money right now so I cannot have it repaired. He told me I could come get the car in 30 min. I went to pick the car up and he charged me $140.00!!! For taking my door panel off. I was flabbergasted. I didn t get my door fixed and I was out $140 fricken dollars. Then I have my son in law check around and he can get me the part from Advanced Autoparts for $104 ..don t trust these people. Def don t think you can take your vehicle in to be looked at and they re not going to charge you all they can. He should ve charged me $30 maybe $50 even then. Don t believe them when they say the part has to come from the dealer!! And get an exact price when u do think you re just getting a price quote If he had told me it would be $140 I wouldn t have done it. No one would I m sure

This shop is a place where you truly get treated with honest authentic automotive care and insight on all your vehicle s issues. The owner Greg is an Extremely knowledgeable human being, not just a mechanic. He will answer any questions you have about your vehicle or automotive needs. I ve had my fair share of troubles with vehicles and he s been there to help me out of a bind on many occasions. I even recall a time I was locked out of my vehicle I called and he came personally to help me out. That man will help even non customers simply out of the goodness of his heart. Don t ever judge this book by its cover because it s a shop with an owner and people with many great traits about them. May the Lord light up their life s.

I got into an accident, and had my car towed to All American Automotive. I spoke with Dennis, and they were able to get the car drivable within two days of receiving the car. They also made recommendations on solving issues that I didn't even know could come up. I will gladly bring my car in any time I have an issue. The pricing was even better than the mechanic I used to take my car to. Amazing group of people, who provide a wonderful service.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I called them last minute before a road trip to rotate tires and alignment and they got me in and did an amazing job. Very friendly and professional. They explained how far off my alignment was and that they had corrected it. My truck drove smoother than ever for my road trip the next morning. I highly recommend and will go back for anything and everything else I need.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

I came to All American Automotive on a Friday afternoon from out of town. My air conditioning wasn't working very well and it was already 105. They took it in, diagnosed the problem and fixed it that afternoon for me and got me back on the road. I'm so happy I found them. After calling around several other businesses that couldn't get me in on such short notice, All American helped get me back on the road comfortably. I highly recommend them for their customer service and their quick work.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My dad took my car in for a shuddering issue that occurred at low speeds with the switch from first to second gear and was told that new tires and wheel alignment would solve the issue plus my vehicle was riding rough. I did not think it would, nor that it was rough, but agreed to go ahead. I was incapacitated so could not take the vehicle in myself. After the work was completed, the shuddering issue was still present. I was told to come in to do a test drive to repeat the shuddering. When I came in, Greg, the person my dad was working with, asked me what all the issues with the car were. I explained I was there for the shuddering issue as discussed. He said that my dad brought my vehicle in for a shuddering at 65 mph and rough riding. I explained that was not true. The vehicle being rough riding was something they told us was happening. My dad was very clear that he came in for the shuddering, as that was my only issue, and the shuddering was at low speed and we had no issues with rough riding. He then said maybe there was a language barrier. We are people of color. My dad is of British descent and grew up speaking English, and our household was English speaking and I have a Masters degree in English and so does my mother. At this point, I decided that this was not a trustworthy establishment. I would never recommend them to anyone, nor would I return.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

I've been a dealer-only guy for the past 12 years, but the folks at All American Automotive won my business after one visit. My F150 started making some dangerous noise and I didn't think it would make it far, so I took it to the nearest shop, which happened to be these guys. The place is clean and professional. Dennis at the front desk was very courteous, and Sam, a technician who went on a test ride with me, correctly diagnosed the problem by ear before he even popped the hood. They also have a Ford-certified technician on staff, which counts for a lot with me. The service is fast. The pricing is great. I live all the way across town, but I'll be back. Thanks, guys.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

6/16/21 I was struck by a van, straight-on at the left rear wheel on my '01 S-10 Chevy Blazer. Extensive work was required to get the vehicle safely drivable, including: remove, overhaul, & install differential assembly, remove & replace differential cover gasket, computerized alignment, and replace bent caliper support. Everything was clearly explained to me and I was talked to and treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. I have done business with All American Automotive 7 times in the previous 15 years and always have been treated with the same professional courtesy as I was recently. They kept in touch with me until the work was completed. I highly recommend All American Automotive. Shirley F, Wichita, KS.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Brought my car into All-American to diagnose unusual road noise, consistent with either a wheel or tire problem. It also needed an oil change. Front tires were visibly and unevenly worn, but the noise seemed to be coming from the back.All-American got back to me with the following diagnosis: Wheels and wheel bearings seem to be fine, but front tires are unevenly worn, indicating a problem with alignment. The noise seems to be due to an uneven wear pattern on the right-rear tire, which is, in turn, being caused by worn-out rear shocks. Also, in their opinion, the car needed an air filter and wiper blades. Total estimate for tires, shocks, oil change, air filter, wiper blades: around $1500.I had taken the car in thinking the noise might be related to the wheels and/or suspension. Since the noise wasn t that, and since I had just been quoted $1500 for an assortment of issues that were not life-threatening for the car, I got my car back after All-American did just the oil change. I sent the car elsewhere for a second opinion on the road noise. I knew that the car did not need wiper blades (I drive the car every day), and I had a suspicion it did not need an air filter (my wife told me the air filter had been changed recently). In addition, though All-American s invoice did not list a labor cost for air filter or wiper blades, the parts cost listed was about 2x-5x the cost for these parts from publicly available sources such as Amazon and Ebay.Regarding the oil change: All-American conducted (and charged me for) a full synthetic oil change without discussing it with me. Maybe that s all All-American offers, but if so, I should have been told, as synthetic oil changes cost almost twice as much as non-synthetic.The second opinion regarding the road noise: Shocks could be replaced, but they are not worn out and are not the cause of the irregular wear pattern. Car is not out of alignment. However, the car was rolling around on three different brands and two different sizes of tire. This issue could cause the irregular wear patterns that were creating the road noise, so let s change all the tires and see what happens. We changed the tires, and the noises are gone. The second place I took the car also just happened to check the oil, and I m glad they did. My car has a 3.8-quart engine oil capacity, and the invoice from All-American correctly listed the oil change as 3.8 quarts. However, upon checking the oil that had just been changed by All-American, we discovered that the engine had been overfilled to approximately 5 quarts. Running a car with too much oil can be a serious problem as serious as running a car with too little oil. Had the second mechanic not thought to check the one thing All-American did to my car, my car s engine could have been damaged or ruined by the overfill. My conclusion: All-American definitely pads out their invoices by recommending unnecessary repairs and maintenance. After my experience with them this week, I checked their other reviews. It seems that most of the negative reviews for this shop give some version of this same complaint. One of the negative reviewers mentioned that they told the shop that their vehicle is used for business, and that reviewer speculated that the padded invoice might have been a result of them having that knowledge. I think this is at least possible, since I also mentioned that my vehicle is used for business, and I got a similarly padded invoice. However, given the obviously low effort put into diagnosing my car, and given the gross incompetence displayed in the faulty oil change, I think it is also possible that their technicians simply don t diagnose problems properly, so they just end up guessing at problems with the customers money.Either way, All-American is exactly the kind of shop you don t want if you depend on your car but don t know much about repairs yourself. They tried to overcharge and upsell me at every turn, and they botched the one thing I let them do to my vehicle.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change
