Throughout the entire time my vehicle was in shop they did a great job at communicating everything to me and providing me updates throughout the entire process. I added on multiple services which they were able to do in a timely manner with professional level service and work as well. I could not recommend them enough, Brendan and Brian did fantastic! I'm truly impressed with their quality of work and attention to detail.

I was referred to Avery Automotive by a coworker and required some routine maintenance on my SUV. I contacted Brendan Avery (owner) to schedule my appointment for Tuesday, 2 January 2024.I was greeted by Brendan upon arrival and checked-in with Bryan at the front desk. The process was quick and easy, it took less than 2 minutes and I was seated in the waiting area. I was immediately impressed with the friendly and professional staff.The waiting room was spotless with plenty of auto magazines to keep me occupied during my wait.I met Zach and Mike, the automotive technicians and had an opportunity to ask questions and get their expert advice on my SUV service. Mike noted that one of my front wiper blades was worn out and the set needed to be replaced. Great catch just in time for the winder weather! Mike even took a picure of the worn wiper blade for my service paperwork, above and beyond what the 'big' dealerships do.Brendan (owner) and the entire Avery team was great, the technicians answered all of questions and the billing charge was very reasonable.Avery Automotive provides 'old fashioned quality service, with honesty and integrity. I will be a customer for life and give them my HIGHEST recommendation anyone's automotive service needs.

Had my AC go out and they also serviced my truck. Called on a Monday and they were able to get me in on a Tuesday. Great communication and friendly staff. Appreciate them getting my truck up and running.

Bryan at the desk is so nice and has been so helpful. I don't like dealing with vehicle stuff and he has made it an enjoyable process and answered all my questions. Owner, Brendan has been equally great to work with. We forgot my daughter's wheelchair from my van and needed it over the weekend; Brendan offered to meet us at the shop to retrieve it.I wouldn't necessarily say I bought a lemon from a dealership here recently, but it definitely has given me some issues and it's been in their shop more than I have had it home. They went above and beyond dealing with the dealership warranty and payment through the dealership. We will definitely be giving them our business in the future...hopefully not too soon though!

I have utilized Avery Automotive for years, ever since Brendan purchased the business from Eden's. I've had service done on vehicles, purchased tires and had them installed, had A/C recharged, etc.... but today is the first day I was turned away and told to go elsewhere for tire repair. I had a tire that my son tried to plug, but was unsuccessful. I went to Avery to get the tire removed and patched, but the manager stated that they could not do so to a 'repaired' tire. I offered to push the poorly installed plug back in the hole but the answer was NO. They could not repair the tire.I left and went south on Meridian in Valley Center to M&M/MTY Tire, just north of the river bridge in the 6300 block of North Meridian. The fellow there took my tire, dismounted it, applied a patch, remounted the tire and I was out of there in 10 minutes, $16 dollars poorer.That service is what I have always gotten from Avery (until today), and will still utilize their services for things other than tire repair. My guess is that I sought service from an employee and not the owner himself. At least, that is what I'm going with until proven otherwise. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 1, because I'm in hopes that this is a 'one off' occurrence as I've never been turned away before for a repairable tire (not sidewall puncture or other unrepairable circumstance).M&M/MTY will have my tire service business from here on out due to their prompt response and rapid tire repair, not once indicating they would turn my business away.All prior service at Avery has been 5 stars.

I would TOTALLY recommend Brian and his crew to look at, diagnose, and fix your car. I was sent to him through recommendations from good, trusted family friends. He is honest, very thorough, and he will tell you all you need to know and more. I m grateful for good honest people and shops like his out there in the world. He ll take time with you too to make sure you understand. I totally recommend Brian and Avery Automotive, I am grateful.I went to him for a second opinion & he saved me so much money because what I was told at another shop was inaccurate, dishonest, and not true. I kept hearing a noise when I d turn to the right that concerned me. My ball joint was loose and needed replaced. I was told by another service shop that I do not trust that it was my struts & shocks. Brian let me know that there was nothing wrong with my struts & shocks on my 4 year old vehicle. If I would have replaced my struts & shocks and then find out later that my ball joint was loose (or maybe even loose a wheel) it would have cost me well over $1,700. Instead I was able to replace my ball joint that needed fixed and arms (my vehicle requires if replacing ball joint) plus get my backseat fixed (I had a bolt that broke) for under $500. I am thankful and grateful for honest people and mechanic shops. I will not forget this and continue to recommend this shop to others.

Avery Automotive Repair &Towing Thank you so much - Not only did they take great care of my car, they also took great care of me answering questions and concerns about my vehicle. I was introduced to the mechanic that would be working on my car - very professional staff. The lobby is nice and clean , the rate for the repairs were very reasonable and completed in an urgent fashion. I am so glad that Avery Automotive is located in Valley Center. Avery has the look and feel of a small town service shop, but all the knowledge and experience of the big dealerships. I always feel welcome and have never been disappointed on any service, with regards to quality or price. I had a friend visiting from Wisconsin that had malfunctioning vehicle. He himself was pretty knowledgeable about cars, but couldn't figure out his problem. Avery not only found the problem quickly (O2 sensor), but had home fixed and ready to go the same day. My friend commented that he was impressed with the service and very happy that he wasn't taken advantage of on the price, being from out of town.All my vehicle issues are taken care of by Avery!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Avery Automotive! They take care of all of our cars. They have always been professional, honest and reasonable pricing. We had to take in our car last week and they gave us options on what we could do for it. We decided to get another car and they inspected that for us so that we could negotiate with the dealership. The waiting area is nice and clean plus homemade cookies are usually available. I send all my friends to Valley Center for care repairs.

This is a long review but it is worth your time to read if you want the peace of mind in choosing the right mechanic.The engine went out in my 08 Chevy Trailblazer and I started the fearful and treacherous search to find a mechanic that could change out the motor for me. I did an online search for a mechanic near me and started reading the reviews so that I could make a confident decision on who to trust for this size of job. Avery Automotive stood out among all the searches so I decided to take the Blazer to them. They started working on my vehicle the week of Aug. 9th, 2018. They were in contact with my right away to let me know that there were additional problems other than the motor and made sure I understood everything that was going on and why additional work need to be done; this was an additional $1,000 in repairs. Long story short, there were major problems with the motor manufacturer that was providing the motor and ended up going through 3 motors to get one that worked properly. This process took a very long 5 weeks to resolve. The owner Brendan and his staff were very understanding of my frustrations and fears and were great in keeping me calm and making sure that they listened to all of my concerns. They even went out of their way to do additional testing and work on the Blazer, at no cost to me, to confirm that their work was not causing any of the problems and to ease the additional expenses that I occurred. I always believed that customer service was dead in this day and age, but Avery Automotive has proven to me, that in very rare case, it does still exist.You do not need to look any further if you need a good, dependable and honest mechanic that has impeccable customer service. I would highly recommend that you do not go anywhere else to get your vehicle repaired and / or serviced.Thank you to everyone at Avery Automotive for your superior service and care in repairing my vehicle.

I live south Wichita. My Brother lives in Valley Center and Recommended I try Avery Automotive. I gave them a shot. They were very professional, fair, and honest which is hard to find now a days. I ve been using Avery for a few years now they always know what to do to fix my cars and truck. and they get my vehicles back to me quickly. Went in for an oil change and to have the oil pressure switch replaced in my car. Appointment was at 8 and they had it done and ready to go before 9. Great customer service. Definitely recommend them for all your automotive repair and service needs.

Avery Auto made time for us when we're visiting from out of town and our A/C quit working in 90+ degree heat. Class act all the way. Great service at a fair price. We don't live close by, but I'd trust my vehicle with them any time.

Avery takes good care of our cars. They use BG Products which is a plus for the cars that have higher mileage. They always find a way to fit us into their schedules We had one issue in the past and they did an excellent job of making things right. I highly recommend them. I had a great experience at Avery's Automotive. Very helpful and quick. My car was starting to get less mpg at 28000 miles, they recommended a BG fuel/air induction service. It helped get my mpg back and restored power. I'm glad I went to Avery's.

I needed an alternator replaced refused to take my parts that were 300$ cheaper cause theirs guaranteed "quality " first one went out day later had to get another one told me they were gonna charge me book hours of 4 hours but only took them less than an hour to do it still charged book hours then starter went out Ik not there fault but litterally made me pay 99$ to tow it like 5 blocks when they poly get billed 60 for and put of town town themselves I know this from when alt died and they tried to bill me instead but when I got my car back started having coolant issues and power steering come to find out they didn't put it back to gether right serpentine belt snapped went to fix it found out why I had issues it wasn't put back together right some of my paneling is missing screws had to find my own parts for suspension cause they weren't even looking up the right model of car so they couldn't find it but only thing that seems to be ok is the part I found myself at a junk yard don't mean to complain but the lies on working hours inconsistencies in the "guaranteed" over priced parts with no normal option to use your own I found my own parts for 75% less the cost and probably would of worked better beings they were brand new I doubt they use new after my experience but they did give me a refund and told me that it never happenedServices: Steering & suspension replacement, Wheel alignment

I have been a long time customer here. I have 2 vehicles with about 250K miles on them and the reason they keep going is because of this shop. I can really trust them with the work they do. I can remember one time that I needed my catalytic converters replaced. While he could have charged me for an entire muffler system, he instead was able to take my car over to a muffler shop and get it done for less than half the price. He valued me as a customer rather than just the sale. I thought that spoke volumes to his integrity. I highly recommend Avery, I can't see going anywhere else, especially with the convenience of the loaner cars!
