Dustin is amazing. He is honest and to the point and does not try to nickle and dime you. I go there, so does my daughter and son. We have all had the same experiences. Dustin's staff is A+. I would recommend anyone to go to the huntoon store.

Dustin, Joe and the entire team were amazing here. They really went above and beyond to give me excellent service. They were proactive and let me know about issues that other mechanics have missed. I would highly recommend this location ask for Dustin or Joe.

Place is amazing!! My husband and I were traveling to Colorado and ended up with a screw in our tire.. we pulled off the highway and called peerless tires, they got us in right away and didn t charge us! Got us back on the road in under 20 minutes! The compassion and service they provided was top notch! Highly recommend! In a world where everyone puts profits over people.. this place gave me hope! I will definitely go there again! Great people, great service!!

Have had 3 very good experiences with these guys. Found their tire replacement cost to be competitive with buying the tires on amazon and paying a place to put them on for me. That's not worth the hassle anymore just to save like 30 bucks, (especially since that other place broke our TPM sensor) so I'm using these guys. And just today they gave us a patch job on our other vehicle for FREE. 5 minutes in and out. Friendly, zero-BS folks working here. Walking distance from my house. I really appreciate their service!

These guys do a good job and they are fast, you don't need an appointment. They do sell a hodgepodge of mostly name brand, mostly imported decent quality tires. If American made is a deal breaker to you, you've been warned. The waiting room is not very impressive, pretty plain, but you won't be there long. Prices are fair. They are good about honoring warranties as long as your tires are rotated and serviced regularly by one of their shops.

They're nice people, they have reasonable prices, they replaced my breaks, and put a new power steering pressure hose in fairly quickly. I had a good experience.

This team is awesome. The manager Jeff has great costumer service. He is the reason I come back for my auto servicing. I have referred my son and daughter to this location. Great store and service.

Putting it simply... Peerless Tires is the one and only tire place to go, no matter how far you have to drive. I've been going to them now for 19 years. Peerless Tires has the best prices around and the best employees I've ever met at a business. Peerless Tires in Manhattan Ks (3rd street) is the one that I prefer. Chad, the manager should be a district manager of the whole state of Ks. He is that Good & that Nice. I do not feel like a number or just another customer!! I feel like I am a friend of the Peerless Family and I feel that he genuinely cares about me as a person. He does his job superbly & Always with a SMILE I live 2 hours from his store. I would drive 8 hours if I had to. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I highly recommend Peerless Tire... I was a certified auto mechanic in 1980, repairing my own vehicles most of my life. Over the years Peerless Tire did the best alignment, in a timely manner, at a good price too. At my age I can't do major repairs. I call them first to get quality parts installed by good people I trust. Thanks Peerless Tire for treating me and my autos right.

I love this shop I buy tires and get my oil changed here. I first started using them because I had a flat tire at work and they were across the street. I had a nail and they fixed my tire and when I went to pay the guy said no charge just consider us when you need your next set of tires. I not only got my next set of tires from there but as I said I use them for oil changes as well and I recommended to my coworkers who also use them. Will continue to get my business long term because they go above and beyond. Not many places will do something for free in the hopes you will return.

Arthur was the only person working this morning and I needed four new tires on my car. Not only was he nice and knowledgeable from the moment I walked in, he said it would be about 45 mins to complete and he got the job done in 30 mins! I m no mechanic, but to take off 4 tires, mount and balance, and replace them with 4 new tires along with resetting my tire pressure system seems like a pretty hefty job! He did an amazing job, explained everything to me without me having to ask, and it was an effortless experience from check to check out! Arthur, your customer is top notch and you deserve a raise!

Proof positive that honest and friendly service still exists!! I stopped in with a slow leak in a tire on the rental car that I was driving. The manager on duty, who said he was actually the assistant manager from their Topeka Boulevard location, got the car right in and had the keys back to me in less than 10 minutes. He walked me outside because he wanted to tell me that the tires where I couldn't see them, which was on the inside sidewall, we're starting to wear very badly. I let him know that I knew that they were pretty worn because of the amount of miles I had put on the rental car and from a previous oil change service done at at Firestone dealership in Lawrence. When I went to go pay for the patch he told me not to worry about it. He said that since the tire was so worn and he didn't see that until afterwards coupled with the fact that it was a rental car he wasn't going to worry about it. Things like that just don't take place in retail commerce these days. I thanked him as he shook my hand and handed back over the keys. I told him I appreciated it. What he didn't know is that I'm the kind of consumer that now will make the trip from Lawrence to Topeka the next time I need to set a tires and seek him out because of how I was treated during this transaction. In other words, the six or seven minutes of labor and the dollar patch that he gave me willingly will net him $600 to $800 in sales in the upcoming two or three months. Hats off to Peerless Tire for doing business the right way!!

As with any expensive transaction, we asked for an estimate. We were delighted to have the final bill come in nearly $150 under the expected charge. The manager is very personable and easy to work with. LOVE these guys!

Had a flat on Saturday and was able to get it changed and to the Peerless Tire shop on Huntoon before closing time. The other tire shop I called said they were too busy and the other tire shops besides this one were all closed! We were on our way to Kansas City and the donut tire was simply not going to cut it! The 3 guys working were very helpful and friendly in the 100 degree weather and were able to get me back on the road in no time! thanks guys!

I took my vehicle in for brake work at the Huntoon St. Peerless three times in one week. $600 later and they still hadn't fixed the problem. I took my vehicle to another local shop and they identified and repaired the actual problem in less than 30 minutes(incorrect master cylinder piston size). To date, a year and a half later, I have not had any problems. Do not count on Peerless for anything other than the most basic tire services, you will regret it.

I had a minor flat tire issue. I was very impressed with the quality of service. They were very responsive and the issue was resolved quickly at a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

Early 2000's got a tire from a warranty issue with them. They put the tire on and I got in my vehicle and started to drive off. Found all of a sudden my brakes felt useless. They told me they needed replaced asap and it's unsafe to drive. Well I looked under the hood myself and found my brake fluid drained. They didn't know "anything" about that. It's "how they were when you brought it in" they said. AWhich you KNOW what your brakes feel like before you get a 30 minute tire change. I will never forget that this business and employees I dealt with at the time we're corrupt and greedy.

Have been here a few times, spent alot on tires, and have always loved the service recieved. Got new to me vehicle and got flat repair done. Always eager to help and prices so much better than other places that gave me quotes. Thanks!!

Don't buy tires here! They sell crappy tires! Bought a van from a friend with new tires from Peerless. Before the 3,000 mile mark, one started to bulge. They would not honor the tire warranty because I wasn't the one who bought them. I still had the receipt. They wouldn't budge. ALL 4 tires from Peerless ended up bulging or throwing a belt. All 4 replaced before 10,000 miles. They are obviously selling very crappy tires and/or old stock. Stay away.

Looked all over for tires for my Tacoma. Everyone else wanted to order them and charge me more money...these guys fixed me right up. Low prices, great tires, in stock, no appointment necessary, they just slapped them on my truck!!! I love it!!

Would be zero stars if possible. Broke a bead on a garden tractor tire. Took to have tire remounted and they wanted 35$. Talked with the manager stating this was an outrageous charge. The manager had a very negative attitude. Told them to just give me my tire back. Went to their competition and they mounted it for 8$. Will never set foot in their store again.

The best tire shop in the city. Good people treat you right and in and out quick at competitive prices. Highly recommend.
