Historically the car buying experience has been as enjoyable as a root canal. However, my wife and I recently purchased a 4Runner from Lewis Toyota of Topeka and had a great experience. The entire team from sales to finance made the car buying process what it should be a FUN, EXCITING, and hassle free event. If you re looking for a vehicle and you want a quality product at a fair and honest price with no buyer s remorse. Do yourself a favor and visit Lewis Toyota. Big thank you to John Dasher! Your info, honesty and helpfulness could not have been more appreciated. Lewis Toyota will definitely be seeing us again for our next vehicle.

My wife and I helped our son purchase a Camry last week. First, the hybrid Toyota Camry is an incredible car. Second, since all Toyotas are built "the same", make sure to shop with Toyota dealer that is happy to see you, wants to work with you, and has been in business for decades - that is Lewis Toyota. Initially, we were looking at a silver or gray Camry, but we opted for a blue one. They did not have on the lot, so they searched and found one in Minnesota for us. They offered to have it shipped or driven to them (at our cost, with is reasonable). We had it shipped because we didn't want anything to happen to the brand new car on a road trip. The branch manager - Tony was very welcoming and helped us surprise our son by allowing our older son to hide in the back seat. Josh was our salesperson, and he too was great and patient. Josh worked directly with our son to educate him on the car, connect his phone, download the app, explain the features of the car, the warranty, take him on a test drive, etc. Finally, was Dakota in the finance department. Dakota explained the interest rate, the pros/cons of putting a larger/smaller down payment, walked through extended warranty options, and other services we could purchase. He allowed me to also educate my son on the pros/cons of the down payment and additional services so we all could make the best decision for his needs. The entire process went smoother than expected (based on our experiences of buying of buying cars with other dealership - some of which are high end car dealers).

We were in from out of town and needed to get out 30k service. They scheduled us same day and we were in and out in about an hour. The walk to the pizza joint up the street isn't bad, that's where we went for lunch while we waited.

Absolutely terrible experience, they take advantage of military members who live in another state. Long story short, was sold a lemon and when I tried to get it fixed I was told to pound sand. After 2 and a half weeks car hard to go to the shop, even more repairs were needed. Currently the vehicle needs over 5k in repairs. This is how Lewis Toyota treats active duty members. Not to be trusted.

WHOA! Run, don't walk away! Called about a 2023 Tacoma Sport, asked two simple questions of the salesman. Took my info, said he'd get back to me the same day. Waited 2 days, nothing. Called, same salesman, truck was sold to another dealership, odd but still listed on the website. Called the next day, truck still there. Asked for different salesperson. Truck still available, yes. Price, let me get your # and talk to our sales manager. No returned call. Cost me some money to go to my bank and get a check made out to the dealership for nothing. Take care here, you might get the "shaft" in the deal.

Nightmare pretty well sums it up. Once this dealer sells you a lemon used car they wipe their hands of you. The concern was brought to their attention after the text drive and they said they found nothing wrong. Two days later after purchasing the vehicle a light comes on showing a need to check the coolant. Again, taken to the dealership and they found nothing wrong. Two weeks later light continues to indicate there is an issue with the coolant. Again, taken to the dealership and they find nothing wrong. Two days later and the coolant all runs out smoke comes out the hood and the vehicle is done. The dealership is called and they say sorry to hear that. Customer service is not a feature of this dealership. Don't waste your time with them as they are not what they used to be at the Lewis Toyota in Topeka KS. Lesson learned they are not to be trusted.

My appreciation to Sales Consultant Cindy Cheng and Finance Manager Al Gallegos on making my recent purchase of a 2024 RAV4 the easiest vehicle transaction I've ever experienced. As I am located in the Kansas City area, most of the groundwork for the purchase was done via phone, text and Internet. Cindy was a superstar; very responsive to my numerous questions, texts and calls. They helped me get exactly the vehicle I wanted for a price I thought was fair (and below average market), and did so in a friendly, honest manner. The presentation of dealer options felt more informative than high-pressure sales/scare tactics I've experienced with other new car purchases.

Travelling from 75 miles away from Kansas City to purchase our Toyota Hybrid Rav4 was a decision that proved to be well worth it. Marty Kane of Lewis Toyota, played a crucial role in making the entire process seamless.Their exceptional communication skills ensured that we were well-informed and comfortable, even from a distance.Marty maintained transparency throughout, providing detailed information about the vehicle and its features along with associated costs. This transparency was especially appreciated given the distance and snowy weather involved in our purchase. The level of customer service provided by Marty was extraordinary. He drove partway to deliver our vehicle to us so we didn t have to drive back the entire 75 miles to pick the car up. Marty ensured I knew how to operate all my new features and use the new console before leaving me with the vehicle.Marty exceeded our car purchasing expectations and we are grateful for their honesty, professionalism and dedication. Travelling the distance to see Marty is a decision we will make again when ready to purchase our next Toyota.

We found that at Lewis Toyota!Marty Kane was excellent to work with. We would recommend Marty and Lewis Toyota to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle!

They sold me a car driven by the managers wife, apparently she can drive whatever whenever. Not the point. It broke down the day I got it, I bought the warranty they fixed it as it was of their own good will because I am a first responder and they take care of us, no they exploit that they do and screw us over like they do others. Got car back after a month, engine needed replaced three days later.

For a while I have been looking for a new truck. I ve had some pretty interesting dealership experiences. Including one dealership where I left several messages and never received any return calls.I finally found myself to Joy at Lewis Toyota. I had the best experience I ve ever had. Joy made it a smooth, easy truck buying experience. From the beginning conversations to the white glove delivery, it couldn t have been better. Incredible customer service. I highly recommend Lewis Toyota.

In an era when doing business is all about making money as fast as possible and forget customer service, Lewis definitely balks the system. They care about customer relations and work extremely hard with them to help them from start to finish at least in the service division which is where I had my most recent experience with Lewis at, especially dealing with most recently Beth. They always say don't deal with the dealership when it comes to repairs, but I've had all good experiences with Lewis. Thank you for all you've done over the years!

Make an appointment online and marked iId be in the waiting room, show up at the time of appointment and told them I'll be waiting in the waiting room. Almost 2 hours later walk outside and see my car sitting in the parking lot , only to have another employee apologizing for not letting me know (he also seemed to be apologizing a lot to the other customers). All as other employees were just walking around casually, without a care in the world.

Even though the Company was closing early for the Christmas company party, our sales agent remained after hours to give this older human a quick rundown of how to drive successfully home, 80 miles away! I assured her, the teen grandsons back home could teach me what I needed to know, but she insisted on a quick course of this smart car, including helping me with the app by using my phone to set me up! I am not tech savvy one bit! I appreciate her determination in getting me down the road safely, even though she needed to get gussied up for the company party in another city! Thanks Cindy! I am still learning each time I drive my new car! I was in an emergency need of a vehicle, and Lewis Toyota fit the bill, hands down, at the 11th hour! Thanks once again.

My mom went in yesterday to look at trading her car for the Lexus you guys have. Whoever the salesperson was she was extremely rude. Downgrading my mom. That s not called for. People have issues with their cars that s what they want to trade their cars off the lady says you are trading it off like that? And is that all for a down payment. This lady should have more respect and not talk to people like they are below her.

We paid our deposit two times. First time after deposit, they called use said the car was sold and they didn t realize it as their system didn t reflect the change. Second time, they called said the car is available. Then we paid deposit again, it s close to date the car delivery. They called us saying they sold the car to different buyer because they can finish the paper work and pay before us. So what is the POINT to pay deposit? This dealer don t have integrity. We should have not trusted them after the first time hassle. We will never go to this dealer.

If I could give 10, 15, or even 40 stars I would. I worked with Josh on the purchase of my 2022 VW Taos and I can t say more good things about his customer service and kindness. Never once did I feel pressured, or locked into a deal I was unsure of. He was very informative and kind during the whole process! If you want to buy a car definitely go to Josh Smith!!

PLEASE. Do not come here. I am currently 5 months pregnant having to deal with this stressful situation Lew Toyota put me through. They made me pay $200 for a diagnostic test without giving proof of the results of service or test. I asked for them to email it to me two separate times and they said they would and never did. I now have to reach out to corporate and my bank to try to get the $200 disputed because I truly don t think they even did a diagnostic test on my vehicle because they are refusing to show me proof. They said they can tell me what s wrong with it but won t give me a hard copy of what s wrong with it. It all just seems so sketchy because I have asked for it more then 5 times and talking Angel and Ray and they both failed to send it when they said they would. Save your time and your money and go somewhere else. If they ll do this to a pregnant vulnerable women they ll do it to anyone.

We had a terrific experience at Lewis Toyota during the purchase of our new hybrid Toyota Highlander. A big shout-out to Cindy Cheng and Al Gallegos, who helped us before and during our visits to the dealership, and have continued to be available for questions after we bought the car. We definitely recommend Lewis Toyota of Topeka.

My experience with Lewis Toyota of Topeka was stellar. As an out of state buyer, I called in about a vehicle being delivered that I wanted to purchase. Josh Smith and Dakota Storck stayed in constant communication with me and were able to meet some requirements I had for my vehicle purchase. They assisted me with finding the best deal for financing, did the heavy lifting for me for the purchase, and even offered to pick me up at a location over 30 minutes away after a six hour bus ride!I joined the Toyota Gazoo Racing family and the high quality and this top tier dealership interaction is something that is pretty rare in today's industry. Thank you to the Lewis Toyota of Topeka team in helping me secure my brand new track car to shred turns and straights in. I highly recommend this dealership and Toyota! !

My salesperson, Colton, was knowledgeable and easy to work with. He took the time to explain the features of each model in which I was interested and made sure I was comfortable with the vehicle I selected. He was efficient in processing the paperwork and throughout the entire process.

I'm really not sure how this place ever gets a good rating, I've been in there five times now each time there are customers livid, cussing at the customer service desk or the staff inside the maintenance area. On every trip, customers complain about being overcharged and miscellaneous charges on their bill or damages to their vehicles. On this trip, I arrived at my appointment time and waited 75 minutes. My car never moved from the 6th position. I went to check on my vehicle and saw a vehicle backing out of a rack with oil spilling all over the floor, the engine had a metal grinding sound the car came to a halt the customer came out and said what are you doing in my car, that Lewis Toyota maintenance staff, said it's not a big deal just a cap was left off you can go back inside we'll fix it. The woman who in the car was very concerned she said she would not leave until they signed a document I advised her just to take a picture of the six guys that were cleaning up the bay where all the oil Spilled Out. I then decided it was my best interest to get my car that hadn't moved in an hour and a half and leave. I spoke with the hostess OR technician that greets people when they pull into the service area, told him I need to leave my car hasn't moved in an hour and a half and it was just here for an oil change, he said sorry we're down three people today and while it's no excuse, we're just having a lot of trouble today. I went to my car, and it was unlocked with the key in it. Midway through the parking lot, luckily, no one stole it. On other visits, I found miscellaneous charges that when I challenged the shop, they removed every one of my bills. On one occasion, I had just put a new air filter and cabin filter in the car before I took my vehicle in for an oil change and the technician brought me a filter that didn't even fit my car completely destroyed and said it looks like you need a new air filter it'll be $80 we'll go ahead and do it today are you ready for that? I said well I just put a new filter in, and that is clearly not my filter he said oh and I said, just go put it back in my car, and I'll just take the oil change. When I got to my car the door was open in the parking lot oil on the steering wheel and the shifter, I pop the hood check the air filter look like they pulled my air filter out and put it in some water on it as it was now wet, but at least I didn't pay $80 to get the same air filter put back in my car.

Inquired about a Nissan Titan SL pick-up I saw on the lot Friday evening. I was not able to test drive it on Saturday. Kid got sickness at school on Monday, mandatory 48 hours stay at home. Wednesday rolls around, we make an appointment to test drive on Thursday. Went online on Thursday morning to confirm vehicle availability, not surprisingly they sold it under me. So after 5 phone calls from them, including one Monday night at 7 p.m., they wasted my time and thiers. Interesting way to do business. I'm guessing they want to sell vehicles on thier time, not yours. Oh well, plenty of dealers in the area, with plenty of trucks would gladly take my cash. Definitely advising my Sister to avoid this dealership if she replaces her 2018 Lexus LS 500.

I usually don t write many reviews, but Joy deserves one. I worked with her over text and call throughout a busy day for both of us. We worked out the entire deal through text. Though I was sad to depart with my incredible Tundra, going back down to a Tacoma to save on gas and payments was made all the more welcome by Joy s assistance. I loved having a full sized pickup, but Tacoma s are fun and this buying experience was quick, painless, and easy. I drove to Topeka from Kansas City after being a customer at Legends Toyota since 2016. You all had the inventory and the willingness to structure a deal that benefits both myself and the dealership. (Seriously, they got my Tundra for a steal and got me a great deal on the Taco as well). Thanks again! I ll be back for a TRD Pro Tundra someday.

I recently purchased a Toyota Corolla hybrid. Lewis Toyota has always provided me with excellent service and had my back when things needed help. I have purchased six cars from their salesman John Dasher. John will always do his best to make sure the car you re looking for fits your needs. I would recommend all of my friends to Lewis Toyota.

My wife and I had a great experience here. Atticus was extremely helpful and guided us through every step, but was also very sociable and felt like talking to a person and not someone just trying to sell me a car. Very happy with our time there and my new truck!
