Had a great experience with them a few months ago getting the oil changed on my truck, but took my wife's suv in today for an oil change and found out that a tire rotation is no longer included in the price and is now an additional $20( the same price as the oil &filter service). They also tried to tell me that my tires with less than 8k miles on them were a 6/32. The reception staff is very kind and polite.

This is now the second time Kansas Land screwed me. 1st time Jill stated that AC Recharge Service would be $150 then came back and said well its going to be a little bit more than what we said, and I said ok with out asking how much is a little bit I get the bill and its $550. Soo $400 is a little bit more . No additional work just AC Recharge for $550 They are crooked as can be. Do not bring your vehicle to them.I had my brakes serviced 27 months ago and was told by Jill the manager that they provide a lifetime warranty on parts. My brake pads and rotors need replaced now and when I brought it in she denied they ever stated it was lifetime warranty and that it is only 24month warranty.Funny how they wont reply to my review They are liars and crooks DONT FALL VICTIM TO THEM!!!!

I have used Kansasland Tire for several years now. Today I got a screw in my tire and really needed my truck tomorrow. I went there at 4pm hoping to get it repaired. They as always worked me in and made it happen with great customer service. Best in class for sure!Service: TiresService: Tires

We have a big trip coming up and my AC stopped working. We called and they were able to fit us in quickly to fix the air conditioning and do an all around look of the car to make sure it was good to go on our long trip! We were weary cross-country travelers on a Saturday morning limping our car along with what we suspected was a transmission issue. No transmission service places were open on the weekend, so we thought we d be stuck until Monday and miss part of our travel plans. Kansasland s store manager found a way to squeeze us in so one of their mechanics could take a look at it even though they knew they wouldn t be able to repair it. The mechanic was able to diagnose the problem and thoroughly explained it so we didn t feel so bad about needing to let the car go to car heaven! We are so grateful for their quality service and attention, and we highly recommend this Kansasland shop.

Avoid this shop!!3rd edit 5-13-22I just saw their last response. If they found on the 2nd time that parts were too worn for the wheels to be aligned, WHY WAS I CHARGED FOR AN ALIGNMENT? They took my money and provided no help on my vehicle. My understanding was that the vehicles got inspected before an alignment. Not very honest imo. And yes, I lost my cool because I do t like shady mechanics or anyone who tries to take advantage of their customers!2nd edit 12-1-21Today I jacked up and removed the driver front wheel to inspect everything and found everything to be in order. Before even removing front passenger, I noticed, as pictured, the nut to tighten the tie rod end, the area where alignment is adjusted and it was not tightened at all. Entirely overlooked not only the first time it was done, but also when it was returned due to it not holding alignment. What did they inspect?Edit 11-30-21 in response to owner reply;The 4x4 light was not reported until it was retrieved from you guys. Yes I replaced a ball joint. The alignment was needed due to old ball joint breaking. Not from me replacing parts. You can rip off the next person but you won't see any of my people in there.I have been using this for a year or so, 3 vehicles they have worked on. I have been fairly happy with them in the past, with a couple of times I wasn't happy but they worked with me to make it right. But this last vehicle, my mother's trailblazer, was in for a tire repair, a new tire, and an alignment. First, they kept it a second day after having it all day on day 1, my mom's only transportation. 2nd, the repaired tire went flat same day. Upon return they said it was the valve stem that they should have replaced the first time they repaired it. 3rd, the alignment was not done correctly, by the time the vehicle was back to the house the alignment was out of whack. They allegedly did a second alignment but said it wouldn't hold the alignment so something must be bent. Lisa, the front desk lady said she had them replace the sway bar link at no cost for the trouble but all 4 are still the original with torn boots. 4th, whilst they had it, they did something and now the service 4x4 light is on and they're saying 4x4 actuator which was working just fine that weekend before.. I will have to get under there and do the alignment myself because obviously mechanic shops can't be trusted anymore, not even locally owned shops. Sad. Hope this helps you avoid a headache.

This is my son's car that they worked on! It was a mess! Jill does an amazing job of listening, explaining and helping a person understand that needs of a person's repairs. The mechanics did an amazing job of locating quality parts. Today is May 16. My experience today isa ditto of all past services. This is why I keep going to Kansas Land. ALL of the employees are really nice. Most of my business has been through Jill, the manager. She is fabulous. She s got a sense of humor and she s very down to earth. It s like doing business with a good friend. She s been like this since the first time I walked into the business. In today s world, you don t often find a business in which ALL of the employees are great. (This is the feedback I gave a couple months ago when I got new tires. It still applies. ALL of the employees are friendly and helpful. The customer service I received was beyond expectations! I loved the convenience of making an appointment on- line as well. My service ran longer than the expected wait time of one hour, so they provided their services free of charge. I love a business who values their customers time! While I waited, I overheard the Gal behind the counter assisting an elderly man with how he could/ should take his car back to the dealership because his service was covered under warranty. She provided all the details and sent word to the dealership on his behalf. Her assistant required a lot of patience and time. Witnessing her level of kindness in the community was so refreshing! Moving forward we will always take our vehicles to the location on Wanamaker.Service: Oil change

Kansasland has done a superb job on my car. I heard a loud noise coming from the front passenger side. They were able to fix it without any problems and the purchase of a new part. Service was quick and efficient, tires requested weren't available but comparable items were suggested and supplied at almost the same price.Location on Wanamaker is large and not well kept, could use some upgrades in appearance and cleanliness, but seating was comfy. Recently, there was a news article with bad press about the shop, so I'd like to share my experiences there.I've been using that shop for the last 3 years and they've always treated me like family and taken excellent care of my vehicles. I've referred many people there, and everyone I've referred has thanked me and is loyal to the shop. I won't take my vehicle anywhere besides Kansasland at 29th/Wanamaker. The people were extremely cordial. I was very pleased with how soon I was able to get my car checked. The only thing I was disappointed about was they didn t put a new sticker on my windshield to tell me when I need to comeback. I came into the business after 5pm and they were closing at 6pm. I had a nail in my tire. They got me right in and were able to replace my tire quickly. I was in and out of there in less than 35-40 minutes. I will definitely use their service again.Service: TiresService: Tires
