Took my truck in for an alignment after the kingpins had been changed. Tried to tell me the truck needed kingpins. I explained they were new so they went ahead and aligned the truck. Fast forward months later after calling them several times and complaining about the tire wear the guy in the alignment shop totally cussed me out over the phone. The shops here are totally unprofessional and absolutely do not care to fix their screw ups. After putting several thousands of dollars in tires on the truck and hearing every excuse they had to offer I finally took it somewhere else and they told me the trucks front end hadn t been touched and was over a degree out of spec. Took several more months and they finally agreed to credit me back for the alignment, however it was an I store credit instead of my money back. The parts guys here are absolutely fantastic though but unfortunately the shop has put a sour taste in my mouth.

Good people are working here, and I believe I received good mechanical work. I had several drivers give me a good review before I had them work on my truck. My only beef is expecting them to get my truck in for an appointment, but it took several days without a phone call letting me know they didn't get it in.

Had to give negative review but 1 star is the least I can give. UNPROFESSIONAL people. Don't know how to do their job. Charged me for incomplete job and never care to rectify their mistake when I told them that my equipment is not fixed. Eventually, I had to place service call to another mechanic to fix the issue.

The staff and crew here are very polite and friendly. But Hoyt doesn t stand behind his work.I took my truck in, in January for a transmission reman. They quoted 2 days, it took 3 and when I picked it up they said they didn t reman it, just replaced a few parts, but assured me it was gone through in detail.3 months later the speed sensor went out and needed replaced.2 months later the output shaft nut backed off and chewed up my speed sensor. A month after that I had to have the transmission taken out again to replace syncros that were chewed up from when the drive shaft came loose and an extra $800 for the trans cooler that was worn out (this means that it wasn t inspected in January at the first reman)8 weeks later the gear they replaced in January blew apart and smoked my trans.Come to find out the trans was not installed correctly after the first reman. Cooling hoses were no properly routed and chaffing on exhaust. Rear transmission support was missing. This leads to excessive vibration and is a likely reason the yoke nut did not stay put and would not have lead to the second reman or replacement. All in all I spent a little over $9,000 and Hoyt said even though the transmission was improperly installed that he cut me such a good deal on the work that he would not be refunding any parts or labor. I do not feel like I received the unmatched service that Hoyt says he is committed to.

Shaun and his team are great! We bought a new hitch for our SUV from them and they took the time to diagnose and advise us on an unrelated towing issue, just to make sure we would be traveling safely. Highly recommend Hoyt's Truck Center

Always seems to be many 5 star reviews and great comments on this business. Wish our experience would have been as good. Took our vehicle in to have dash air worked on. After paying $1,200+, worked great for 1 day and then stopped blowing cold air. They refused to look at it that day and put us at the back of the waiting list. They finally got to us in about a week. Did some additional work, charged another $600. It worked for approx. 2 months and then stopped again. They basically refused to stand behind their work. We will never go back there again.Service: Air conditioning

Highly recommend this shop. I was rolling down 70 and all of a sudden my truck goes into limp mode, check engine light, lurching and shaking horribly. I pulled over waited until the following morning, called Hoyt s and they got me in as a priority. Had a load with me on a 40 ft gooseneck, which they had enough parking to disconnect. It was an injector. It was pricey. But later on I had a dealership replace more injectors and not even remotely as clean of a job as these guys did. They were fantastic. I had zero issues stemming from their repair. They know trucks. I was skeptical because I have the touchy L5P Duramax, and injectors on these are a nightmare.

We are a small family owned business with box trucks. Our truck broke down 10 miles away, i called Hoy's, Joe picked up and said get it towed over here and we will diagnose it right away and let you know what we can do. We had the truck towed in at 1pm, and every hour they said they will get to it. They sent Adam, the tech, at 4:45PM, and he plugged in the computer, and was there for a few minutes, and said the codes are inactive, we close at 5pm, so we have to take a look at it in the morning. I called back in at 9am, they said they are about to pull in the truck, i followed back up at 11am, they said no news. At 1pm when the driver got there to see what is going on, truck was parked at the same place where the tow truck parked it. They told us, we can not do anything needs to go to Fireghtliner. They charges us $650.00 for not doing anything and just keep telling lies. DO NOT USE HOYTS, they are paid by the hour and are full of it! I towed it to a near by serviceA&M Truck repair, where Aron & Mike are polite and want to help, and clean work!!!!!Service: Transmission

Came to these guys with some voltage issues been to some other places and nobody else would listen to what I was saying. Told the guys here what I have been dealing with and to my surprise they actually listened. After some discussion with his electrical guy determined that yes it was the alternator bought new not reman and now my issues have been resolved. All because the man listened just FN amazing what can be fixed when people actually listen . Thank you again for your help.

Look these guys are fast, good price, professional service. I highly recommend them to fix your truck. They were able to fix my frozen shut down truck and reefer with in 4 - 5 hours they got us back on the road. I read these other comments they probably got a bad mood or something. But they are a friendly staff, and they know what they are doing. U must be crazy for not coming here to get ur truck fixed up, back on the road.

They take care of you like family here.Regen was driving me nuts ss IT was a knock sensensor. Then I had too goo pick up my trl. I remembered I needed a leak fixed. They have a trl shop across the hwy. Even they were closing soon, they still fixed me up. Damnest thing I've everseen on a trl 90% of the rivets, were missing on final panel ,passenger side. They had drill out rivets, some way or other popped loose- missing. I'm breathing easier, I was holding my breath each x it rained, i.e. load rejectionService: Exhaust

Stranded at my delivery. Hoyt's not only had the part but they came out within an hour and changed out alternator. Back up on the road making money again. It costs for good work but it is worth it and about average for road service

We are so thankful we had our truck towed from a dealership to Hoyt. Cost $150 but so worth it. They were so kind, helpful and knew what was needed to repair our truck. The dealership was going to try a $1500 part which wasn't the problem. They put in the new injector and it runs perfect again. Glad we weren't traveling across country and we were home. I forgot to mention how professional they were!!

They are way overpriced! Charged me over $700 to drive 20 minutes and prime my fuel filters and squirt a little bit of ether into the turbo to get my Detroit started. They only worked an hour on the truck. I will never ever recommend or use these guys for my service again!!!!! Thanks Biden for this overpriced shit

Hoyt's road service is an over priced scam. They don't decifer between service call charge, and labor its all rolled into the final absurd total amount. Called them out 30 miles to install 4 truck batteries, final bill $1170 but I'm sure when they see this review they'll "shed some light on it".

Service and the guys in the shop were great. However you'd think on customer appreciation day, and when you right a check for 4300.00 dollars you'd at least be offered one of the free t shirts and swag.

Took a couple days to diagnose my truck repair. Bill was not outlandish but it was not cheap either. Got me back on the road with Cummins parts in 3 business Days. Browns towing service will tow you here and the charge can be added onto your repair bill. Would recommend. Other places were 4 days out to get a broken Freightliner repaired and back on the road.

Developed a severe driveline vibration yesterday while driving to Topeka from Wisconsin in my 2015 Kenworth T680. I have some mechanical knowledge, and I identified the carrier bearing being the culprit. Chris and on of his techs stayed nearly two hours after closing waiting on me. Not only did they fix my issue, they did so at a price that trumps ALL places I checked on the way there DURING business hours. They had me rolling very quickly and I will DEFINITELY be a return customer and I'll tell people in my predicament about these guys. Thanks a million. This truck has never driven so smooth since I've had it.

My son-in-law was stranded in -between Topeka and Emporia in 100 degree heat with two flat tires. We spoke to at least 7 different companies not one of them would help him. We got a hold of Hoyt's and he cam immediately the rates were reasonable and the service was top notch! Thank you so much

This use to be a good shop. But it has lost its veteran mechanics. The owner still cares. And try's hard. But his crew of young people have got a lot to learn about fixing big trucks. They had no idea how to fix the heater on my truck. It's a 97 freightliner century. The most popular truck on the road. It has a cylinder that opens and shuts the water off. Going through the heater core. Mine apparently doesn't open up all the way. Because my heater is warm. Not hot. And all they did was tear up my dash. And had no clue. On how to fix it. After?. I explained the problem. But. The owner did replace my dash cover for me. I respect the man for being honest about it. I actually feel sorry for the man. Good veteran mechanics are very hard to find anymore. Especially when there's a unbelievable demand for them it's like 1000 trucks for every one. Mechanic .
